He's Back

Early next morning Jack dress up to leave the house before Clara woke up, he didn’t want her to see him.

“Hey… are you leaving so early” The voice he was so afraid to hear ask behind him.

“Yeah”, he turned to face her smiling” just going outside, do you need anything?”

“No thanks, see you later” he turned to leave, hand on the door handle and he came down with a surprise.

“What!,, Alex!” He was standing on the door about to place his hand on the door handle when Jack opens the door.

“Jack!..” They hug tightly. Clara rush out tearing them apart she hug her  brother and sob, she never thought she see him again.

“Where have you been?, I’ve looked for you everywhere” he hug her again examining her all over.

“Am fine thanks to Jack and Brian, they rescued me”

“Really!.. Thanks man, he hug Jack again.

“I was about reporting the case to the police, what’s up?, you just disappear on us”.

Yeah, Sandra and her men they want me dead, am even coming from the house now, they are still there.

Yeah u saw them yesterday,” Clara said.

“So what are we going to do?”  Clara ask her brother because she is now ready for anything.

First I must take Sandra to a safe place before I can do anything.

Guy am in” Jack said, he will not stand here to watch his friend go through hell without helping out.

Clara’s eyes widened as he look at Alex, “I hope he knows what he’s doing” Clara’s expression doing the talking and Alex understanding what she meant.

Jack I want you to do something else for me, take Sandra and go into hiding”

“Why?, she can stay in my house!”  He didn’t  know that his house in under attack because he was helping Alex and Clara.

“You can’t stay here is dangerous”

“What the hell are you taking about? This is my house, no body come here to do nonsense” he yell.

“You have to listen to him” Clara warned “They would be tracking us since we breakout of that cell.”

“Hell no, am not going anywhere, you guys are the ones with a problem not me”

Alex looked at Clara bend his neck slightly and they both went out of the house.

“Whatever, suit yourselves” Jack heels and went to sit on the sofa but on a second thought, they might be right, he ran after them to their house.

The men were still there but he didn’t see Alex and Clara.

He was about to turn back when someone grab his neck.

“Oh..fuck..” he yell.

“Is me, don’t be afraid” Alex release him.

"Don’t you ever do that again” he  grind his teeth at him and Clara smile but the smile didn’t last long on her face. And Jack wonders if she ever laugh.

The only time he has seen her laughing was last night after they took those alcohol drinks “yeah, but it was a disaster night after all”
