Chapter 74

“What is going on with her?, And as for Alex I’ve not seen him for weeks now”

He decided to visit Alex but kicked against it, he and Alex has not been in good terms since that day, and if he’s not going to come to him first then so be it.

“Who is she?” Sandra confront Alex after his parents are gone back.

But he refused to answer her and it made her ferrous.

“If you don’t tell me I will find her myself”

She left his room, no, she disappear from the room because Alex didn’t see her leave through the door.

“Wow…” was all that came out from his mouth but he soon realize that Sandra could be in trouble.

“Where did she go?” Alex ask Clara as he rush out of his room but didn’t find her.

“Where is who?”

“Sandra, she just disappear on me, I hope she’s not going to find Sandra because she left angrily”

“You think so?, Let’s go and check on your Sandra” Clara said because she knows how much Sandra means to Alex.

They rushed out of the house into their car and zoom of to Sandra’s house.

But Clara was a bit disappointed by Alex.

“The girl has no standard, she’s poor, she can’t fit in”. Clara keep complaining.

Will you stop it, let’s go to the market, she will be at the market helping out her mother”

“What?, You want me to come to the market with?” she ask Alex totally disappointed this time.

‘Yes, Sandra the witch might be at the market to attack her.”

“Will you stop calling her that?, She’s not a witch”

They arrive at the market but Clara was walking as if she has never been to a local market before, but you can’t blame her, the maids are the ones who do all the work, she can go to a supermarket but never to the local market.

Alex lead way and they got to where Sandra and her mother sell their fish.

Sandra raise her head and was surprised to see Alex and his sister.

She greet Clara bowing a little because she’s usually afraid of Clara.

“What are you doing here?” Sandra ask Alex in a whisper.

“My son welcome, which fish do you want to buy?” Sandra’s mum ask both Clara and Alex.

“Oh…, this one” Alex pointed and Clara turn to at him.

“What do you need that for!”

“Sheee.. just keep quiet”

Sandra knows that Alex didn’t come here to buy fish but there is no way she could stop him because her mother was so happy to sell such amount of fish that day.

“Help them and take it to their car” her mum said and Sandra took the fish following Clara and Alex.

“Why are you here”, she ask .

“I just want to check up on you” he said and Clara left them and gets into the car wondering how Alex got to met Sandra in the first place.

“You don’t have to check up on me, you can go back to your wife”

“Sandra please, I don’t want anything happening to you”

“Oh… are you now worried about me?”
