“You don’t have to worry, my mouth will be close.”

“Ok” Sandra let him out of the room.

“Oh my goodness, what will I do with this boy? I feel like killing him right now huh..”

“Alex…” Clara’s voice was heard calling him from outside but he refused to answer.

She push entered his room and Alex looked at her like he was going to kill her.

"Why are you still angry, everything went smoothly” she said and was about to touch him.

“Take your hands off me now”

“What?”

“How long have you known this?”

“Know what?” Clara ask laughing at Alex.

“Don’t joke with me because am not in the mood for jokes”

“Ok look, this is the world you are born into, you don’t choose to be born into it, it just happened”

“Meaning?”

“Meaning that you are born into a rich family”

“You know that’s not what am talking about”

“So what?, Is it about the  oath taking?”

"That’s not just an oath taking, is an initiation into something, but that thing is what I don’t know”

“Calm down Alex”

“Don’t tell me to calm down, do you know how much I fight not to get myself involved In cultism in school? I thought I was doing something good for my parents only for them to be the one to initiate me into occultism” Alex said angrily.

“This is different Alex, this is not school cultism, this is the real world.”

“F*ck you” Alex yell at Clara.

"Ok, calm down, I know it hurts you but is beyond me ok, am also a victim here, I can’t marry outside this circle” Alex eyes widened.

“You mean Tami…”

“Yes Alex, so you see?, we are all in this”

“Fuck…” he bow his head and feels like crying.

“Am sorry”, Clara holds her little brother.

Now Alex is beginning to understand why Clara was like a mother to him, he feels like disappearing.

“Am sorry Alex, I knew you would be like this that is why I didn’t tell you. I was worse that you when I first find out, I cry day and night, so I never wanted you to go through that torture” Alex was just looking at his sister speechless.

“So what about Sandra? Do you mean I can not be with her?” Alex ask Clara.

“Sandra! Who is Sandra?”

“The girl you saw in my room back home”

“Oh, are you in love with her?”

“Yes”

“Hmm, that will be a difficult one”

“What do you mean?”

“You can have fun with her but you can’t go beyond that”

“Meaning?”

“You can’t marry her” Clara said.

“Then there is no need” Alex reasoned.

"We will be heading home tomorrow but today, there will be an introduction of your wife to be, am telling you ahead of time” Clara said to Alex making him want to faint.

“Am sorry Alex” she said and walk away.

“Am finished” Alex yell in his room. He knew that he is not going to like the girl, he is not the type to fall in love so easily, he is this selective type, he hardly fall in love with girls, so this is going to be a tough battle for him.
