She turned to Jack “what was that?”

“What!” Jack turned away from her.

“Don’t play games with me Jack, are you covering up for Alex? Is he cheating on Sandra?”

“How am I suppose to know that?” He tries to change the topic but Clara won’t have any of that.

“Tell me, what are you two hiding?”

“Look, if Sandra called to ask such questions, it then means that Alex did something,” he said.

After bathing, Clara went to visit Sandra.

“Hey…come here” she hug Sandra and they sat down to discuss.

“What happened”

“Is Alex, I think he’s seeing another girl” Sandra said almost in tears.

Clara hug her “I’m sorry, I have to look into that” she muttered but her eyes met with Alex coming out of their room.

“Clara! When did you arrive?” he ask but she didn’t reply.?”

"What is going on Alex?” Clara starts to scold him, “Sandra didn't go through all that just so you can dump her, I mean we went through a lot for you”.

“What are you talking about?” he pretends not to know.

"Are you seeing someone else, I mean do you have another woman.?"

“And why are you asking me that?, if I have you will know”

“You better not, I will personally deal with that woman” she threatens.

Evelyn tries to sleep but she can’t, “why did I let him go” she hugs herself and kissed Alex's picture, tracing her finger on its face.

“I will make you mine, wait and see” she grinned and crawl to her bed feeling empty, and needing someone to hold her.

“How are you doing angel?”

“Dad, why are you here?” Evelyn asks Lincoln as he is the last person she was expecting to see this morning.

“I just come to check up on you, is that wrong, huh! My angel” he reached out his hand to touch her but she refuse.

“You need to tell me why you’re here”

“I miss my daughter and I just want to check up on you”

"I'm fine, and I'm running late for work.

"Yeah, work, that reminds me, what about Alex?, I heard he came here to visit you”

“Dad, are you stalking me?”

"No! I’m only protecting you” she said and Evelyn looked at him with a surprising look.

‘Is Alex dangerous?” she asked walking towards her father.

“Oh. C'mon, that is not what I said but yes, he can be dangerous”

"It means you two know each other she asks and Lincoln knowing where the conversation is heading said "No, I just like the boy, but not enough to leave my only daughter in the hand of a stranger.

“I’ll be fine dad, I’m running late” she left him and went to take her bath.

Lincoln smiled “Did he sleep over last night?” he asks yelling so Evelyn will hear from the bathroom.

"Dad, go away, I’m not telling you that” she yelled back, Lincoln smiled and went to his house.

“Jess! What kind of question is that” Evelyn muttered shaking her head as she came out of the bathroom to see Lincoln's scaring hitman sitting in her living room.
