It's the first time in Wei Wei's twenty years of existence that she understands she is an alien—moreover, an extraterrestrial from the turtle planet.
The bottom line is that, after two more days, she still hasn't logged into the game. A turc is someone who flees or ducks when confronted.
Anyways.
Anyways.
The "abashed" planet invaders must have surpassed her.
A sigh
Given the circumstances, she is aware of her emotions; therefore, her next course of action should be to get straight to the game and attempt every tactic—both overt and covert—to win the Great Master over. There is nothing to be concerned about, as she and the Great Master are not yet wedded. Wei Wei is aware that the Great Master hasn't been married for a very long time because, first, YuGong and the others make fun of him by calling him a "ten thousand years bachelor," and second, Wei Wei asked him before their most recent marriage. At the moment, she was more motivated by morality than by any other reason for asking him. It's a game, but she doesn't want someone's fiancée or girlfriend to feel uncomfortable about it.
However, she just won't go online. Rather, she is engaging in strange behaviors, such as repeatedly viewing the video of the Great Master's speech.
Wei Wei, equally surprised by her own strange conduct, acts a little irresponsible and immediately invents an apology for herself. That's her; it's your first time falling in love, so acting unusual is expected. If she doesn't, it will be unusual.
>_<
She is still strange as a result. She makes a daily commitment to herself that she will go online, but at night, she comforts herself by telling herself that she will go online tomorrow.
She has been vacillating between the two of them for the past two days, but now she can't take it any more and has decided!
This Saturday!
She's going online right away after her level 6 exam on Saturday!
It's a terrific idea, but life isn't what it will be called if everything goes exactly as planned. Wei Wei is startled out of her shell by an unexpected phone call on Friday afternoon.
Xiao Ling answers the dorm room phone when it calls and delivers it to Wei Wei after bringing it up initially. "May I ask if this is Miss Bei Wei Wei?" the person on the other end of the telephone asks in a kind manner.
"Yes, and you too?"
"Hi, Miss Bei. This is the "Dream Voyage in Rivers and Lakes" operating department of Feng Teng (Soaring Wind) Corporation.
Then, when fortune hits Wei Wei's head for the first time in her life, dollar signs start to swirl in her eyes.
The person on the other end of the call tells me that a higher-ranking employee saw her submitted film and found it to be quite moving and well-made. As a result, they would want to publish it as a promotional video on their official website. Furthermore, they wish to enhance the gameplay with additional features for taking the bride or groom hostage; that's why they're trying to get the video rights.
Wei Wei, shocked and excited, reaches for the phone and tries to reason with herself to see whether this is genuine or a hoax. Since it makes no sense to con someone for this, it's most likely true. It's hardly shocking that the gaming firm has her phone number, given that she provided accurate information on the sign-up form to prevent account theft.
Wei Wei controls her excitement and asks coolly, "Can I give you an answer later? " once the explanation is complete. Since I didn't create the video alone, I should get feedback from my friends.
Wei Wei quickly logs in online as soon as she hangs up the phone. Her list of friends blinks frantically. Click each time, repeatedly. She reads them all one by one; they are all notes from her friends inquiring about her well-being. Wei Wei clicks on more than 10 of them before her hand stops.
He sent the final message.
It was almost exactly at the moment she logged in. It's from right now. The message is written in a few words.
"Come on, Wei Wei."
To employ their "Together in Life and Death" ability, couples only need to click once, and they will instantly be bent toward their partner. After reading the message, Wei Wei remains still; her initial exhilaration gives way to a strange sense of unease.
The sound of "ding" signals the arrival of another fresh message. Wei Wei opens it with heightened emotions and more tense. When she sees who sent it, she exhales with relief. NaiHe isn't it. YuGong is here.
YuGong: "I apologize so much, third sister-in-law. Just kill me with a beating!"
Since responding to his message is considerably simpler, Wei Wei queries, "What happened?"
"I was the one driving after the dinner gathering, and we had an accident," YuGong writes with a heartfelt smiling.
Wei Wei is heartbroken at the news. An automobile mishap? Her face is pallid, her heart thumping fiercely. It takes her a few seconds to react, but now that they're online, it's probably safe to assume all is OK. Wei Wei's heart, however, beats even faster. After a little pause, she responds, "You guys are okay, right?"
"We're alright. We ran into a tree. Sitting was the third brother on the passenger side and sustained more severe injuries. He lost consciousness and lay comatose for many hours before awakening in the middle of the night.
With anger, Wei Wei shoots forth a series of "!!!!!!" exclamation marks.
You mean he passed out for a few hours? Oh, you pig head, YuGong!
She walks straight to NaiHe and makes advantage of the couples' talent without hesitation.
NaiHe stands by herself on Sunset Summit.
Wei Wei is not in the mood to take in the scene of the musician in white robes resonating with the setting sun. "Why are you still playing online and not taking a break?" she types hastily.
No,After a minute, he appears a bit taken aback but responds, "I'm fine now."
"...Even so, you need not to be engaging in internet gaming. It demands too much focus.
"I'm not having fun. I just login in and leave it running in the background.
Entering credentials and allowing it to run in the background
Why did he message her as soon as she checked in back then? Wei Wei wants to respond, but for some reason she only asks, "Do you still feel dizzy?" instead of speaking.
"Not at all now." No,"I apologize for not showing up that day," he says.
"That is a minor issue."
Alright, so it's not even worth a dime in comparison to a vehicle accident.
Wei Wei recognizes that she hasn't been online in a few days now that he has brought up the couples PK competition. Could it have been that NaiHe thought she was angry? She's not furious at all, I think, but the cause of her absence from the internet
Wei Wei tries to hide her feelings of shame by saying, "I haven't been online lately because I have an exam coming up."
No,After a little pause, he responds, "I know."
Wei Wei's face becomes crimson in front of the computer right away.
You're aware?~~
You're ignorant!
Wei Wei is calmly contemplating something. She looks at the white-robed musician and simultaneously feels bittersweet in her heart. After some time, she begins to feel as though those two straightforward words from NaiHe have infinite implications. She is surprised to find that her heart is suddenly racing with a wide range of feelings, including delight at their reunion and the satisfaction of having gained something back that was gone.
Wei Wei makes a concerted effort to regulate her feelings and eventually recalls her online purpose. She informs him right away that Feng Teng got in touch with her regarding purchasing the rights to their footage. After waiting for her to finish, NaiHe listens intently and then states, "This matter is a little complicated."
"Oh, really?" Tricky? Wei Wei seems a little perplexed.
"Yes." A succinct yet forceful response. NaiHe then remarks breezily, "Let's get together."
