LEWIS POV
I woke up to the ringing of my phone, groggily opening my eyes to find myself alone in the backseat of my car. My driver was at the wheel, navigating through the night as I tried to shake off the exhaustion from my tight schedule. I answered the call, my voice laced with fatigue, "Hello?"
"Lewis," the voice on the other end said, and my heart skipped a beat as I sat up straight. "Margaret," I replied, my eyes now wide open.
"Let's meet," she said, her voice laced with a hint of desperation. I could feel my heart racing as I tried to process her request. "Where should we meet? A restaurant, the park, or...just tell me where you are, and I'll meet you there," I stammered.
There was a pause on the other end, and for a moment, I wondered if she was still there. "Where is the place?" she asked, but it sounded like she was talking to herself. Then she gave me the address.
