Taking the Plunge

Isaac ultimately did end up following Dessi's call to action because the next place he went was out into the garden to find Kyrie. He felt a bit better now that he was armed with Dessi's advice, and it wasn't long before he found her sitting cross-legged in the grass with her notebook open in her lap. For a moment, Isaac couldn't help but admire her as she bent over her work with such a look of concentration that she was blind to just about everything else.

Even as Isaac moved closer she didn't really notice him, and so Isaac took this opportunity to wrap his arms around her waist and lift her up. Completely taken by surprise, Kyrie let out a soft squeak before it devolved into laughter when she realized just who this was.

"Isaac!"

He responded with a smile and a soft kiss to her cheek.

"Hello, Kyrie!"

Spinning her around once rather playfully, he only did one rotation before letting her feet touch the ground once more. Kyrie had dropped her sketchbook as she was lifted up, and Isaac could see now what she was trying to draw. It looked like it was a picture of the two of them locked in a kiss, and the image of that comforted him all the more; if she was also thinking about spending intimate time with him then it shouldn't be too hard to convince her to join him for the evening. Holding her loosely in his arms so that she could turn if she wanted to, Isaac kept his face fairly close to her cheek as he spoke.

"You're drawing another one of us?"

From his question, he immediately began to feel the heat radiating from Kyrie's face. She had been trying to capture the tense and building arousal that she felt when Isaac kissed her for long enough in the garden. No matter how hard she tried though she just couldn't quite get the image right; it just wasn't able to evoke the same feeling as Isaac was able to give her when he kissed her himself. Was it just not something that could be captured on the page? She still wasn't convinced that it couldn't so that that end she kept trying. Though, it was rather embarrassing that Isaac was witnessing her attempts. It felt almost wrong for her to admit that she was dwelling more on these intimate thoughts. Kyrie remained facing away from him as she looked down at her sketchbook, mostly so that he wouldn't be able to see the embarrassment on her cheeks.

"S-Sort of... I'm trying to capture the way it feels to be with you but I just can't seem to get the feeling right. No matter how hard I try it's never as good as I remember it."

"Maybe that just means you need to be exposed to it more? The more familiar you are with the feeling the better it'll be ingrained in your mind."

There was certainly logic to his words, but mostly he was being entirely selfish here. He just wanted to spend more time close to her, the fact that he was also helping her with her drawing was just an added bonus. The blush on Kyrie's cheeks got worse both from Isaac's words and because he had moved in to gently nuzzle and kiss her neck. In an attempt to hide herself against something, she turned around, wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug and buried her face against his chest.

Pulling her body closer to his now that they were facing each other, Isaac moved a hand up to gently guide her face so that she was looking at him. Giving her a brief but warm smile, he leaned in to capture her lips in his. Both of their eyes closed as she let Isaac fully into her mouth, and the soft sounds that he elicited from her sent trembling spikes of arousal through him. He wanted her so badly, but he tried to rein that in. He had to focus less on the pleasure it gave him, and more on the pleasure it gave her. That would be his mantra for the evening.

This kiss was a long one: Isaac both hungrily and gently exploring her lips while Kyrie soon found her mind fuzzing over as it so often did when their encounters got heated. This feeling... This was the feeling she so desperately wanted to capture. Everything felt warm, and her thoughts seemed as if they were moving through water. Her lips eagerly met Isaac's with each motion he made, and her tongue lightly and almost shyly touched at his.

After what seemed like ages, Isaac finally pulled away, and Kyrie looked up at him with half-lidded eyes. She was breathing heavily now while a light blush tinted her cheeks, and she looked for all the world like she was begging him for more. It took all of Isaac's willpower not to push her down right there in the garden. Instead his arms tightened around her once more, pulling her ever closer to his body as he rested his head on her shoulder.

"Kyrie..."

He faltered for a moment; yet the feeling of her heart beating hard against his chest and her labored breaths told him that this wouldn't be too soon. They both wanted this, and Isaac had waited for as long as he could on the matter.

"Would you... join me tonight?"

Kyrie's heart skipped a beat at this and she sucked in a breath. Was this... Was this it? Was she finally going to understand what it felt like to be one with another person? The growing anticipation was lessened a little when Vivian's words cut through her brain. What if it hurt more than she thought it would? And what if Isaac's erection really was a lot bigger than she expected? These thoughts did make her nervous, and yet, the desire remained. Vivian had told her to go slow and that Isaac would understand... But hadn't they been together for a long time already? This should be slow enough, shouldn't it?

Moving slightly away so that she could look up at Isaac's face, what Kyrie saw there melted her heart. There was concern on his features, but somehow Kyrie knew that it wasn't concern for whether or not she'd accept, but concern for her wellbeing. Maybe she wasn't entirely ready, but with the way Isaac looked at her and the way he cherished her she felt like no matter what happened she would be okay.

Reaching her own hand up to touch Isaac's cheek, the slight furrow on his brow softened from the smile on his face as he leaned into her touch.

Yes. She could do this.

"Yes. I think... I think I would like that."

Her voice was soft, and for a moment Isaac looked dumbfounded. This all was just too surreal to him. So often he had dreamed of this moment that somewhere in his mind he had convinced himself that it would never happen in real life.

As the reality of the situation began to sink in though, a wide grin took over his features as he pulled her in for another tight hug. Kyrie's heart pounded hard in her chest from the sheer anticipation of what was coming next, and also just from the fact that Isaac was so happy! She had been the one to do that to him, no one but herself, and it felt good to know that she had such a brightening effect on someone else's life. He took in a deep breath of her as they held tight to each other before loosening his hold and giving her another radiant smile.

"We can use one of the upper floor guest rooms. Did you... Did you want to grab anything before going up? Or put your sketchbook away?"

"Oh, yes, actually..."

Kyrie was in a bit of a daze, feeling almost light-headed as it sunk in more and more that Isaac would be sharing a bed with her tonight. Isaac was quick to pick up on this change in behavior, and once again Isaac's brow furrowed in concern. Holding both her hands in his, he looked her straight in the eye.

"You're sure about this?"

A little startled by the question and the sudden seriousness, she couldn't really hold his gaze for long, rather shy as she turned to look down.

"Of course, it's just... This is-- This is the first time I've-- I never thought..."

Blushing brightly as she stumbled over her words, she ended up rushing through a bit to try and find a sentence that was usable.

"I'm just so nervous and excited!"

The worry that he'd felt quickly melted away in yet another smile, and he couldn't help but think that everything about this was too good to be true. He had a woman in his arms who liked him enough to share a bed with him, but not just share a bed, share her heart as well. Unable to help himself, he kneeled down in front of her so that he could once again look into her eyes, and now that he was back in her view another bright blush lit up her features.

"So am I, Kyrie, so am I. I want to do everything in my power to make sure this is a good experience for you. It means the world to me that the woman I love is going to be spending a night with me."

Isaac softly kissed at the back of her fingers on both hands, and Kyrie couldn't resist the blush that had just moved in on her cheeks. She wanted to get a little bit of distance between her and Isaac in the hopes that she'd be able to calm down her beating heart, but she didn't want to respond to his affections by only running away! Feeling just a little bold in her fervor, Kyrie quickly leaned in to give Isaac's lips a soft kiss before letting his hands go and picking up her things.

"I'm glad that I'm sharing it with you, too, Isaac! I-I'll meet you at the stairs soon!"

He continued to kneel as he watched her scurry away, but to his surprise, she turned back to stand in front of him once more.

"And Isaac... I also love you very much and... and thank you for... for loving someone like me."

Kissing his cheek this time, she then ran away before he really had a chance to react. Isaac reached a hand up to touch his cheek, and a faint smile lit up his features as he thought about her words. Here he was thinking that she was a saint for having chosen him, and now he was learning that she felt the same way with him. She really was his perfect match.

He couldn't think of anything that he needed from his room, so he stood up from the ground, wiped his knees off a little, and headed straight to the stairs to wait.
