Mrs. Rachel finally said after a few more minutes of thinking it through. There might be a few complications but she just had to convince herself that there was something called the power of friendship that is not easy to break.

Arielle Lardon arrived at the office the next day in a chick girl look, a brown suit with large black colored bottoms on it. A color combination of black and light brown cover shoes, jean black pants barely showing underneath her long jacket, and a tiny cute light brown side purse (waist bag) and dark shades with her hair packed up in the American style.



She looked absolutely perfect, classy, and yet simple as she walked into the office.

She could also be compared to the level of bosses' expensive standard of dressing by any onlooker who knows about fashion.

Arielle heard someone, to be precise, a man greeting her in a lovely way and a decent Californian accent after such a long time of working in that company at a low position without being noticed by any man. She quickly turned around and there before she was a man.

She could have thrown up if she wasn't desperately looking for a man, any man.

He was in no way a match for her and to make matters worst, he told her that he is an intern after they talked for a while, he doesn't even hold any position but his name is Jonathan.



Would you want us to go home together?

He asked Arielle with a smile on his face.

Gosh! Arielle sighed to herself.

Maybe I should just give him a chance. The guy seems to be sincere. Just look at his confidence when talking to me.

Okay. Arielle replied to his question.

Okay? He said with an even bigger smile now.

Alright then, see you later Arielle.

He said and they both went back to their work.

Arielle was restless all through the working hours. It felt like a dream, after all these years, she finally gets a man to look at her and talk to her so lovingly.

What does it matter if he is not of my status or if he is not very handsome, he is still a man after all.

She picked up the files on her desk and made her way out of her small office.

I should go and tell Katie about this, she will be surprised and super happy for me.

Wow, that's new.

Katie strangely expressed her joy. Arielle was surprised by her tone.

Are you not happy for me?

Off course I am in love but seriously an intern? C'mon love, you are more than that.

I know but we both know that this is the first time in a long while any man has talked to me.
