I looked deep into those handsome brown eyes and said, "I'm ready."

That was the start of the end. Did I realize all that time I was slowly warming up to the idea of a guy being around me and I feel no tension, anxiety: except the anxious butterflies of falling in love. Collin and me? Well, at the time we were too young and stupid for our own good. We fell off for a while and I didn't know that I would miss him as I do. State championships... applying for colleges, everything just piled on, and eventually, neither of us could pour into a relationship what we needed to that would keep it alive. We still were friends but after high school... well, everyone knows how hard it is to stay in contact with people from their teenage lives.
