I drove. And by golly I drove fast. It was like I was a personal ambulance: on a mission to save a life. The drive was smooth, my movements calculated. I was careful of bumps and potholes. Concussions are delicate things, I've had a couple myself, from football. I took back roads to avoid unwanted attention from police.

Before I knew it, we were in front of my quaint house. It was a simple house with the necessities. Three bedrooms: my parents', my brother, Ace's, and mine. I didn't blame my parents or get upset that we didn't have a lot of money, it just meant that I couldn't be a typical teenager and splurge all of the time.

I rapidly grabbed my keys, and gathered the still-passed-out Andy, from her seat as I briskly walked to the door. I wished with everything I had that my mom was still up because it would make getting into the house a whole lot quicker.
