Ascended

Siv sits there with Gary in her arms, her shaking hands are soaked in his blood. She is lost as to what to do, she just keeps caressing his face. Siv puts her forehead on his and squeezes her eyes shut.

'I was never a religious person, but it looks like you have created this world. If you can hear me, I beg you to help me. Please, help me.'

"Come dear, time to go." The Mage sounds closer than earlier.

"Skonhet!" Siv screams to the skies. It seems the whole ocean carries her voice, but there is no answer.

"Did you think you were that special?" The Mage towers over Siv, casting a shadow over her. "She has not answered any prayers for centuries." He chuckles.
