Alena's pov

Well, I still couldn't believe that we reached home safely after that incident, I thought that someone might come after me..well... I was sure of it still nothing happened. I took a long sigh and stared at my surroundings and found I was in my room then I washed my face and left for downstairs.

I saw our maid in the kitchen, I asked her, "where is mom, isn't she home?

She replied, "Young miss, mam hasn't arrived yet but she will be back soon...and young miss breakfast is ready to please have a seat and I will serve you: and then she bowed. I replied respectfully, thank you and I will come after taking a bath" and left.

I took a cold shower because the weather was slightly warm and grabbed an off-shoulder dress, it was of dark pink color which came just above my knee and wore high heels of the same color as my dress. For makeup, I did a light makeup and ended it with pink lips.

I reached down and found a not to heavy breakfast and it hardly took me 10 minutes to complete it. As I was thinking of what to do I received a call from the company and here comes the most annoying person in the world "Demon".

I reached my office and started working then I got a call from him to report in his office. I knocked at his cabin and went inside and there I saw a stunning man is typing with a constant speed on the keyboard.

He was not looking at me so I coughed and said, "Good morning Sir, any new orders for me?

He said," are you fine". I was taken aback with this question and thought for a moment...dude...did he lost his mind....wait is he having fever.....or has he hit his head? I was all sorts of possible incidents then again he spoke: "I mean your injuries from that incident".

I looked up at him and said, "I am all good sir but thanks for asking" and smiled at him. After getting some work I left for my cabin.

Demon's pov

After she left i was puzzled and thought why the hell I asked her that...and on top of that why do I find her attracting nowadays..... I think i should meet the girls that my aunt was suggesting and took a long sigh and started working.

As I was working i received a call from the hospital where my mother was admitted and the doctor said, "she wants to see you come soon". I replied to her yes and cut the call. Soon my assistant knocked on the door so I said him to come in and he reminded me of a meeting which was luckily on the way to the hospital so I told him to get Miss Eve ready for the meeting.
