“Yow! Why are you two aren’t partying?” James suddenly came out from nowhere. I quickly pushed Ian’s face away from me. I cleared my throat before sitting down properly.
“I’m not here to party.” Ian replied before looking at me again. I silently glared at him and looked up to James.
He has this confused look while looking at us.
“Uh, we’re not in the mood to party.” I told James. He nodded but his eyes were still fixed on us.
Instead of looking at him directly, I chose to take a sip from my drink and looked around to avoid James’ critical gaze when I suddenly saw something.
More like someone.
I quickly tore off my eyes on him and focused on the dance floor.
“Let’s dance?” I suddenly asked Ian when James left.
He looked at me and slowly nodded. I stood up and grabbed his hand. Pulling him to the center.
We stopped walking when we are already surrounded by the people enjoying the lively beat. I turned around to face him and clung my hands to his neck.
