Chapter 8 New Hatred

When Renata rushed to the hospital, Xzavier had already arrived. They stood by the bed and looked at Roxy. She had gauze wrapped around her head, and there were a few scratches on her face. Roxy closed her eyes, and the back of her hand on the side was connected to the hanging transfusion bottle above her head.

Xzavier said, "She has a concussion. There is a blood clot in her brain. She will do other examinations after the inflammation diminishes."

Renata didn't say a word. Xzavier added, "It's not life-threatening."

Renata said, "Tell them to keep their mouths tight and don't let Winter know." After speaking, she turned and walked out.

Xzavier said expressionlessly, "Go to the bathroom and wash your face."
