"What !!" they were all shocked. Mr Lewis didn't even glance at her,

" Seriously, that's what you gonna say , look at her ,she looks...."

" you have no right to bad mouth my employee, you asked for an assistant, there she is." Mr CEO interrupted him.

Joan stood there quietly, when did it reach a point of people hating her so much.....

flash back....

At home , Joan's parents voices could be heard,

" What !! it's true she's stupid ,I don't even understand why she goes to school , she's just wasting my money ."her dad yelled.

" no please give her a chance , I know she can make it, please " her mom cried.

at school...

" I don't want to partner with her , she doesn't understand things fast ." girls laughed.

It's not that she didn't understand, it's because they just hated her , the way she looked fat the way she dressed baggy clothes, and she was always nervous .

They would pour food on her in the cafeteria, place frogs in her locker and tear her trousers after swimming classes, she would sit alone and cry...

end of flash back....

she was Soo deeply in thought that she didn't notice a tear dropped, she was also shaking, the two men looked at her shocked , why was she crying.

The room was filled with silence, Joan looked like she had just collected herself together,

" am ready to work hard, please don't doubt me ." she looked down at her shoes .

" it's Said now , Mr Lewis you found yourself an assistant, " he looked at her ," I trusted you to let you work for him , you know he's a big catch so don't disappoint me " he smiled at her. At least someone believed her.

" Thank you so much Mr ken , I won't disappoint you." she was beyond happy.

She went and packed her belongings in a box .

in another company.....

in a meeting, a ringing phone interrupted,

" Mr manager, how is that lady holding on ,"

" I have no idea , the CEO called her with her files so I guess she's getting fired," the manager grinned.

" well that's good news , if she's fired, make sure you badmouth her even more , I don't want that fat sack to benefit, make sure you watch her every move " the other line hanged up.

in a car two people sat quietly looking out the window, Joan was admiring the view while lewis was arguing with himself.

Joan's phone rang, " hello .... that's me .....what do you mean , I've always paid the rent on time....ok I'll be there." she hanged and looked at lewis .

" you work but you can't even afford to pay your rent on time unbelievable."he mocked.

" my apartment in the next road , please drop me " she ignored what he said. He has no right to mock her ,he doesn't know what she she always go through.

After some minutes the car stopped, Joan ran out and went inside this average apartment,. " don't move yet let's wait.
