CHAPTER 35

 It's been two day since the fight happened and Athena sat alone in her room. She refused to go out or talk to anyone, 

 "Honey someone is here to see you," She laid in her bed and covered herself when the door unlocked.

Ken walked in her room looking around; he has never been in a girl's room except his sisters'. He walked slowly and sat next to her bed and chooses to look at her.

 "What are you doing here…? I thought you despised me," She did not need to see him to know it was him; his perfume was enough to expose him.

 "When did I say I despised you," He glanced at the woman who covered herself like a cabbage in bed. Women were so difficult to deal with he thought.

 The room was ruled by silence he had nothing to say to her because he never learned how to coax a woman and Athena was so embarrassed that Ken saw her fight like a monster.

 "You know you don't have to be ashamed for fighting for your right." He tried talking.

 "What do you know, you were friends with that bitch," She curled more on bed.

 He had known Lisa for long but never thought that she'd do that. She was from a rich family and got was she desired but she never stooped so low for such things, maybe there was a reason.

 "We were friends even before I knew you," seriously. "And I'm not ready to get in between what you guys have, that's yours to continue but trust me if she did all that I'll make her pay."

 "Really," That made her peak and he saw her red puffy eyes which made his heart ache.

 "Have you eaten anything?" She shook her head inside her Pink blanket.

 "Let me take you out for some refreshing lunch so you can relax you head…Mmmh." He stood and sat on her bed uncovering her.

 He had no experience in love because he was busy establishing himself but promised himself a change of heart that's when he met her.

 After a good shower every part of her body worked well again. Strangely she was at peace and her heart was relaxed. She sat in the passage sit next to Ken who was keenly driving.

 This was a rear view for her, and she counted herself lucky to sit near a godly man like him. Her palm for itself on her chin and she was really looking at the man next to her, this was her lucky day.

 She had the chance to look at him and not get scolded for it,

 "Like what you see," she nodded without noticing and hid her face after realizing making him laugh in amusement. It was rear to see her calm; she was always all over the place.

 A beautiful Reassurance came to view and she was mesmerized and forgot about the gorgeous man in front of her.

 They came down the car and walked in the entrance of the restaurant.

 "It's so…" She lacked words to express what she saw. Ken stretched his palm and she happily placed her small delicate palm on his and they walked in.

 The décor was above everything, it screamed royalty and this was going to be memorable day of her life,

 "You don't know me that well and neither do I, but I'd like to know you well and know everything that you've gone through," Why was she getting so nervous and feeling like she's gonna bust?

 "Just give me a month to know you and forever to cherish you…" he went down on his knees and opened a golden case to revile a big diamond ring that she doubted that might be heavy on her small thin finger.

 She was also tired of watching and reading sweet romance stories that never came true on her life and she was happy that her part of her story came true. Fuck what others might think she liked him.

 "Will you marry me?" He said those words simply but it came as blow on her heart and tears couldn't help but flow out her crescent eyes,

 "Yes… I'd like that," She cried covering her mouth with her right hand and stretched her left hand to wear the big ring.

 "This was so unexpected..."

 "I planned for this a long time." He answered and pulled her close to him and claimed her lips as his and she tiptoed to welcome him.
