Although time had passed, the air was still tense. Valentina knew that she had overreacted, but she couldn't help it. Without even realising it, she tightened her arm again around Dahlia who had since moved on to designing new nature spells. While the girl may have moved on though, the vampiress certainly hadn't.
The desire to train and practise with her new aspect felt nonexistent at that moment and, no matter what she did, she couldn't stop thinking about Dahlia's bloodline over and over again. In case it wasn't obvious, Valentina was *not* stupid. She had caught on that something was off with Dahlia's heritage quite some time ago. However, she had somewhat been living in a state of denial that whole time.
