High up in the mountain valley, in a house, Alex's house that is, men women, girls and a boy were gathered around the kitchen table. With awe, they all listened to Lili speak and just then unknowingly did something truly great. For they had just then gathered for the first holy council of the church of light.
With Lili as this councils head she told them all of the book of beginnings and the holy light, and all its greatness. Alex stood there by her side as her shield and protector while the others looked and listened to her with awe.
And as the hours of that Tuesday dragged on, her lengthy speech finally came to an end. Then, immediately as she ended her speech Eric spoke up in excitement and said.
"Yes, I knew it. I fucking knew it. Alan was right Kristy, aliens are real and oh I bet the governments got quite a few of them there in Area 51. And not only that, but heaven and hell as well, we truly are not alone in this universe."
Kristy nodded in agreement to this, Elsa watched it all with wide eyes as Anna lifted up her hand and yelled. "Oh, I know that place. I saw it on the internet. It was that thing where the old governor guy was speaking about government secrets and stuff."
Lili still didn't know what this area 51 was, but she couldn't help but feel happy seeing their positive response. These people actually seemed to take her words seriously now, they believed her. Although Ludwig and Helen seemed a bit unsure of it all so she looked to Ludwig and asked.
"What's wrong Ludwig? Do you have something that you wish to say?"
Scratching his beard, Ludwig then looked to her with a serious expression and asked.
"Well I must say that this has been quite a revelation to me. To think that I have been following false teachings all this time and to have a being of god now before me. It just, well it feels so surreal. I feel like I should do something great for you for saving my life, gifting Alex his own powers and for you to simply just be in our presence is such an honour. I don't know really what to say. I mean I'm just like you said a mortal man, what can I really say or do in this situation?"
Dressed in her pink kitty cat hoodie, Lili looked to them all and then seriously said.
"No, you don't need to do anything for me. Instead as humans and as followers of the holy light you should instead ask what it is that you can do for your fellow brothers and sisters under the light. For we are all family under the light and like in any good family all of us must see that family grow and prosper. And to do this we must become strong enough to attract others, we will spread the word, unite all of humanity and then we will create balance to this earth and everything beyond."
Hearing her words all agreed. They nodded their heads and cheered, but then Helen asked.
"Mmm, but what about those who don't listen or agree with us?"
The room went silent just then and Lili casually said.
"Well if they don't want to see the truth even after they have heard the truth, then those people are lost. They are to be considered to be heretics and are to be treated as such. Of course we will let them be if they pose no danger, but we will only let them be at a distance. For amongst those heretics there might be those few that follow Satan and so they are not to be trusted ever. They can live, but not with us or anywhere close to us. For humanity has to stand as one, we don't need distractions amongst ourselves. We must unite to bring balance to all of existence. Remember, there is only one way and that is the way of the light."
Saying this Lili could immediately see the people's fate waiver. Did she say something wrong, Lili wondered. After all she had merely just spoken the truth. In her past no-one seemed to mind this mindset, all followed the same faith and worked and died well together without any complaints. So what was the problem here?
But just then laughter was heard from the corner of the room. Standing there was Anna's father, mister Ivan. He was the silent type, he wore glasses, had a short beard and some gray hair. He seemed old and held some scars in his hands.
If she remembered correctly then the man was called Ivan Belanov, he looked quite mean and she could see that his soul was plagued by anger, hate, but there was also great fate within him. He was also the boss of Elsa's mother who worked in his shop. She could see his soul and so she knew she could trust him and so she happily listened as he walked forward and said.
"Very good, very good, I like it. No mercy and no forgiveness for our enemies, for there can only be peace through strength and unity, or balance as you say. Too long have we tolerated one another, too long have we fought mindlessly amongst one another for this or that piece of land. And too long have we been divided due to our ideas, ways of life and different religions. But no more, for soon all will see your truth, the truth of god sent upon us by you, his messenger and our prophet, our angel of light. Now when do we start?"
Lili could see Alex, Eric, Kristy and Ludwig all nodding at the man's words. Helen seemed a bit hesitant, but Lili could see that she did have faith, she merely just needed some time to accept it all. Anna seemed to also agree with her father, while Elsa merely watched and listened to everything attentively.
Seeing it Lili felt happy, there might not have been many of them. And they might not yet have much of any strength or power, but this was most definitely a good start.
Now she just needed some form of organisation to it all. Something like the Sargent had with his squad and his superiors up in fleet command. Although Lili had no idea of how she would form it all and so she looked to Ludwig who was the owner of this land and said.
"Ok Ludwig, you're good at building, fixing and organising things right? So as the head of our fate I grant you Ludwig the rank of High Lord of Eden. From this day forth you will be in charge of the administration here. And your wife Helen will be your aid."
Saying this Lili felt smart, but Ludwig seemed distressed as he quickly said. "What? But I'm just a nobody. I mean sure I worked as an engineer in the military once and I run this land and the fishing lodge with Helen, but I don't know a thing about administrating anything. I'm honoured, but please reconsider."
Helen nodded affirmatively at this, as Lili shook her head and said. "Don't worry you will figure it out in due time."
Ludwig and Helen hung their heads low seemingly overwhelmed by this sudden appointment. Alex although did try to console them. "I believe in you mom and dad, you can do it. I know you can."
The others nodded affirmatively at this. After that she looked to Eric and made him Lord Commander in charge of security and military. And Kristy was to be his aid.
Then she looked to Ivan Belanov. The man seemed fierce, ruthless, loyal and most of all a bit unhinged. Which was just perfect for the position of Lord Inquisitor, the man in charge of giving out judgement upon the heretics and unbelievers who might seek to harm their holy order.
Hearing the order Ivan seemed pleased and didn't deny his new post. And lastly she named herself the Messenger of god, the highest position of all. And as for Alex, well he was to be the second highest in rank as the Shield of the fateful.
After saying all of this, Lili commanded Ivan to her side and as she did so, she grabbed his hand, took out a knife and said. "I see your hands have metal fragments within them, as does your body. Mind if I take them out and heal you?"
Saying this the man seemed absolutely awed as he said. "You can see those old grenade fragments within me? Oh yes, of course. Please, I am but your humble servant, do with me as you please. Free me of those old things that haunt me to this day and I will forever show my utmost devotion to you, my goddess and my saviour."
Hearing his answer the table was quickly cleared. Ivan went to lay there and then the cutting began. The man winced in pain, but said nothing and stayed strong. The girls gasped and screamed in horror as the women made them look away. She could even see a bit of a smile coming upon his face as she cut him.
And one by one as the fragments came out, she began to heal his old body. And before everyone's eyes the man not only had his bloody wounds healed, but his hair regained its brown colour, his eyes became brighter, more blue and he became younger looking overall.
Then as the healing ended the man tossed away his glasses and fell to his knees. He bowed his head and swore his ever dying loyalty to her, as his soul burned with great reverence towards her.
Needless to say the first meeting was a resounding success. All seemed pleased and dedicated to the cause now. Although Anna and Elsa seemed a bit disappointed not having gotten any cool names, and so Lili named them The Sisters of Faith. What were the sisters of faith, well Lili wasn't too sure, but for now they were to be close to her and Alex, as they were part of the same gaming team after all.
All in all Lili wasn't too sure what she was exactly doing. She just gave out the names and told everyone to figure it out themselves. Well she did at least give them all a taste of the power of light and some guidance through the words of the holy text.
And after healing them all, she turned to drawing down the new symbol for the church of the holy light. A symbol that was to be an eight pointed star in the shape of the cross. And within its center there was to be a circular ball of light to symbolise Jesus's pure core of light.
Now they just needed to build a church that could gloriously represent this symbol and a high tower in that church that would hold a great stone of light that would shine upon all it's believer's below. They would build this church at the end of the road, next to the brick house or fishing lodge as it was called.
But to do so they would need resources, money and most of all men to build it all. So with this in mind a new plan was made.
Eric and Kristy lived a kilometer away from Alex's house. So along that entire way they would begin cutting down the trees and clearing the land for farming. Lili would plant the light stones there and the profit's would for sure be great.
As for the manpower problem, Eric did luckily have it covered as he had many wounded friends from the military. That with some healing Lili could most definitely turn to true believers. Elsa also had a single mother that could also be of help, and easily turned. While Ivan had a few of his own friends from his old war days or something like that.
So now they just needed some quick money to buy the rest of the 500 meters of land between Eric's and Alex's house that the city owned. Ivan did luckily own a small goods store in town and he did have some money saved up.
But even that would most definitely not be good enough to buy such a huge piece of land and so Lili, Alex, Elsa and Anna had to go play some more video games. After all donations were good and Snoopy63 might have some extra money to give.
So with this in mind the first council ended and all headed off to find ways to make lots of money. Anna and Elsa brought their computers into Alex's room. Alex ordered Lili a new computer and a whole streaming set-up, all pretty much thanks to Snoopy63.
Like so the day quickly came to a close. And during the next day that was the fourth of June, a wednesday. Lili bid Alex farewell as he went off to school, after which she went off to work.
In the morning all the adults came to train with her. So to train them to be the best that they could be, Lili made them do 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 pull-ups and then they went mining. Using only her own home made Iron and stone pickaxes they went up the forest covered mountain to mine. And with their bare hands and sacks made of leather they carried that what they mined down to her at the little forge she had.
Like so she made them train for a few hours until it became mid-day. Then Lili healed them and sent them on their way to do their own daily tasks. Ivan headed off to manage his little store, while Ludwig and Helen went to take care of their own land. While Eric and Kristy headed off to cut down some trees and clear the land for farming.
Left alone Lili focused on building up her forge and tools of iron. Until finally it started to become late again and Alex returned from school with Anna and Elsa. While she and Alex practiced training Alex's core of light. Elsa and Anna focused on running, building muscle and stretching.
Lili wanted to make the two girls strong and skilled in combat for in the Empire everyone had to be prepared to fight. Humanities enemies were many and so all humans had to be strong at all times to give them that slight edge in battle.
So dressed in her primitive clothes she faced Alex on the grassy shore of the lake, as she made the two girls watch them fight. Alex was stronger now than he had been before, he knew some martial arts thanks to her, but still Alex quickly did find himself pinned underneath her with his hand in a painful hand lock.
Sadly Alex still lacked skill and his chubby body was not ready for his core to be completely emerged with his mind and body. So she made him continue to focus on losing weight. While she taught the two girls how to fight.
But soon darkness came and only once it did they went to Alex's home to eat and play video games. That night they decided to hold a sleepover and so they played till it was two o'clock in the morning. And although Alex wasn't allowed to stream on his account, Anna and Else were. So thanks to the girls accounts they all and all got about two hundred dollars for their combined streams.
Although everything was looking good, it still wasn't enough to make them rich any time soon. To buy the land between Alex's homes property line and Kristy's home would be expensive. At least half a million would be needed and to buy the whole mountain valley of Eden would take millions.
So Lili, Alex and their followers still had a lot to do in the coming years it seemed. But in less than two weeks summer holiday would come, the girls and Alex would be free. Lilis computer was soon to be here and their suspension for streaming would also then end.
So with this in mind Lili that night happily snuggled up against Alex in his bed and went to sleep. She would most definitely need to visit the library again to learn some more, but for now she was busy. And oh was she excited to go and save those elves from the evil undead in that awesome game.
