Let off

Yiyang planned to meet Feifei at a cafe. Seeing Feifei wait for her outside the cafe, Yiyang can't help but smile and be thankful for having Feifei. She rushed to Feifei to greet her.

"Hey, why didn't you wait for me inside?" Yiyang asked.

Seeing Yiyang after four years brought so much warmth to Feifei's heart. They are finally in the same place after four years after that incident.

"I missed you so much. I can't even wait for you inside so what about it?" Feifei teased Yiyang as she asked for a hug.

Seeing how Feifei asked for a hug, Yiyang laughed and went straight to hug her best friend. "You, really. I missed you too. Can we go inside now? It's a bit freezing, you know?"

The two best friends entered the cafe. But as soon as they were in, Feifei was quick to notice her own little sister sitting at one of the tables.

Yiyang who was then talking noticed that Feifei wasn't paying attention and seemed to be looking somewhere else. Following to where Feifei was looking, Yiyang was able to recognize someone familiar to her too.

"Fei, isn't that Qian and Ning?" Yiyang asked Feifei.

"I know. What are they doing here? And it seems like they're talking about something important. Look at how serious they are."

Curious about how their little sisters are at the cafe, Feifei and Yiyang decided to go over their table.

Meanwhile, unknown to Ningning and Yiqian that their older sisters have spotted them, they continued their conversation until they were interrupted.

"You'll find a way to let Yiqian meet who?" Feifei chimed in in Yiqian and Ningning's conversation.

Hearing her sister's voice, Ningning stood up from shock for seeing her sister with Yiyang. Confused at Ningning's reaction, Yiqian looked at Feifei's direction as well only to find herself shocked at how Feifei was with her older sister.

"Sister, that.." Ningning tried to make an excuse but it looked like her brain can't make a lame excuse to tell her sister.

Seeing how much Ningning is stuttering, Yiqian tried to salvage the situation by making up excuses herself.

"Ah, Sister Feifei, Yue'er went back to Country U yesterday. I just missed her already. You know how we fight every time and I feel bad for not making up with her before she went back." Yiqian explained to the two, hoping so much that the older two would buy it.

Just then, when Feifei doesn't want to buy the younger ones' excuses and was about to probe further, she suddenly felt Yiyang pinch her pinky finger. That exact signal. Being shocked is an understatement for Feifei but knowing how Yiyang tried to use that signal between them, she knew it meant to let go of the matter at hand. Thus, she can only let the two off and pretend.

"Is that so? Silly girl, you can just talk to her and say sorry. You've all been friends since you were on diapers. I'm sure Yue'er would let you off." Feifei tried to comfort Yiqian.

Yiqian who felt relieved of the older two buying her excuse can only thank Feifei and brought up another excuse to leave with Ningning before the situation gets out of hand again.

"I know, Sister Feifei. Thank you. Oh, I think we have to get going now. Ningning and I have an appointment to attend together. Thank you for the advice, Sister Feifei. Sister, I'll see you at home." Yiqian said to Feifei and Yiyang as she brought Ningning along with her out of the coffee shop.

As soon as Feifei and Yiyang sent their little sisters off, it was Feifei's turn to probe into Yiyang's actions earlier.

Noticing Feifei looking intently at her, Yiyang was the first to break the ice. "What?"

"Ying, you. You knew I didn't buy their excuse right? Why did you stop me then?" Feifei questioned Yiyang.
