After five years

"You're not hiding something from me, are you?" Yiyang questioned Yiqian. Several things passed by Yiqian's mind and she was so scared that Yiyang might catch her thoughts. She then quickly denied Yiyang's question. "No way. How could I hide something from you? Jie, you might be tired. Let's sleep now, hm? You still have to go to work tomorrow."

No matter how much Yiqian denied her question, Yiyang knew at one look that Yiqian is definitely hiding something from her. Noticing Yiqian's scared expression of her actually seeing through her, Yiyang knew just then that there are more things she needs to find out. Whether by herself or from someone.

The next day. Yiyang went to work early. She was then greeted by her secretary, Meifan, informing her of the schedule for the day.

"Good morning, Manager Xu. Aside from the internal meetings you have, you have a lunch meeting with Chairman Wang and a meeting with Director Dong of DS Group at 4pm."

"Meifan, I'm supposed to meet Director Dong? DS Group? You mean our rival company?" Yiyang inquired.

"Yes, Manager Xu. We will be collaborating with the rival company in a project we were supposed to do for the government."

"Okay then. You may leave."

Yiyang busied herself the whole day. She attended company meetings where she was introduced as the new head of the planning department. She even managed to close a deal with a potential investor during her lunch meeting. Now, she is on her way to meet the representative from DS Group for the collaboration project her secretary mentioned. Strangely, Yiyang felt nervous. It was like the first day of school, it was like it's her first time reporting in class. Yiyang felt confused. This is isn't the first time she would be talking with a businessman. She even managed to speak in a conference where the richest of the tycoons and businessmen attended yet here she is, heart beating crazily like it was about to get out of her chest. Without noticing they have arrived at the hotel, her secretary decided to inform her. "Manager Xu, we've arrived."

Yiyang who seem to be in deep thought had no choice but to brush off her emotions and get out of the car to rush to the meeting.

Upon reaching the reception area, Meifan confirmed everything to the attendant, informed Yiyang and led her to the meeting room. "Manager Xu, this is the room that we reserved. Director Dong should be inside now. The driver and I will be waiting for you outside. If you need anything, just call me."

"Okay then." Yiyang assured her secretary and entered the meeting room.

Meanwhile, in the MH group's office, Yiqian has just arrived to fetch her sister and force her to have dinner with her.

As Yiqian was looking for Yiyang in the office, she saw the company's long time secretary, Mr. Lin. "Uncle Lin! Have you seen my sister?" Yiqian greeted the elder while she asked about her sister.

Seeing the youngest miss of the Xu family brought smile to the elder. "Youngest Miss, it was nice to see you around. You've definitely grew up well. It feels like yesterday when you were just creating a mess here when you visited your dad." Secretary Lin teased the young lady.

Yiqian being reminded of her mischievous young days made her embarrassed but she needs to find her sister. "Uncle Lin, I know. I know you've cleaned up a lot for me back then. Thank you for being so patient with me then but can you please tell me now where has my sister gone?"

"Hahaha you silly child. You're looking for Manager Xu? I heard from her secretary that she has a meeting with Director Dong of DS Group for a collaboration project at Imperial hotel. They should be discussing things right now. Secretary Lin finally answered Yiqian's question as he looked at the time.

Hearing Director Dong and DS group rang a dangerous signal to Yiqian. She can't believe what she just heard so she decided to confirm it to Secretary Lin. "Uncle Lin, are you sure my sister has gone to a meeting with Director Dong ? Do you really mean Director Dong Zichen of the DS Group?" Yiqian asked.

Secretary can only laugh and explain it patiently to Yiqian. "Youngest miss, who could it be? There are only two Dongs in the DS Group. The old master Dong who's the chairman and the young master who's one of the directors right now. I clearly said Director Dong so it should the young master, Dong Zichen."

Dong Zichen will be meeting Xu Yiyang. The words rang in Yiqian's ear and she was out of the office in no time as she thanked Secretary Lin and rushed to the hotel where Dong Zichen is meeting her sister.
