127: FOLLOW YOU?

Brian was believing everything Kathrine was saying. Katharine knew her plan was going well and she is going to take Brian home with her just as she had planned.

Vicky stood light struck, shocked with Brian's action. She didn't know that he could be swayed easily with words. To some extent, she didn't blame him. Katherine was very good at conveying people, manipulating them shading tears and using them against people and that worked perfectly well. 

Andrew on the other side, stood there, wondering what to say to change his son's mind. He didn't want to lose his only son, the only thing that occupy a special place in his heart.

"Yes, at the time of delivery when Kathrine shunned him in front of people he wanted to die, he wanted to leave and even take Brian with him. This we because he didn't think of the future, there was no fire in front of him that he could cling to.

Even after getting so my help, he wasn't sure of himself. He didn't believe that he can raise a baby in this world without Kathrine in it. 

Katherine was like heroin injected into his system and it needed a daily dose to make him feel better without her it was like leaving a hopeless life. 

With time he came to terms that, things move on, whether we are around or she is not around. He started to accept his son and made sure he spent some time with him even if it's for ten or twenty minutes that he never missed. 

Vicky was also there to remind him of who his father was and he was great fun for that. 

All those days, he hadn't thought if the day, his son is going to turn his back on him or the family that helped raise him. He was disappointed in him.

They listened to the words that the nurse who was on duty was trying to say. 

She was on Kathrine's side defending her and saying how she was harassed by Andrew even to a point of making her have a miscarriage. 

All these words pierced Brian's heart and he started shading tears. 

His father looked at Kathrine who's head was held down as she fled grief and sniffing.

Vicky moved forward, Brian was not focusing on any of them anymore, he was finished with the pain that his mother had to be put through during the delivery. 

" son, listen to me," said Andrew stretching his hands to meet his son. 

Brian didn't respond to his request instead, he buried himself in Kathrine's chest and crowded with her. 

"I am sorry mum, I knew I had this information beforehand, I Could have looked for you myself. They poisoned me, mother, they said you were a bad person and wanted to kill me. " 

"Brian!" Shouted his father startling Kathrine and Brian who had snugged in each other embrace. 

Katherine stood with anger in her face as he approached Andrew. 

"Don't shout at him, he jas suffered enough in under your care, I am now taking my time to create him and develop vim into a fine gentleman," growled Kathrine.

"Well Kathrine, what if we call your witness over here right now, will she be able to identify any of us right now? Or did you give someone her face to talk so that you can threaten us?" Asked Vicky walking across the room.

Katherine looked at her and was shocked. She quickly covered the shock with a growing face. 

"Brian, you see this is how they ganged against me and took you away, they were three of them they even went on and threatened to chop my head off if I ever talked about it," cries Kathrine.

"Vicky, did you gang up against my mother?" Asked Brian while soothing Kathrine like some baby. 

"Brian, I don't think you need to talk t me, believe what you want to believe. How can a keen person come here and tell you things, lies and brainwash you then you just switch off and throw your family away? Just defence she has cried and opposed her tears on your feet?" Mocked Vicky. 

She was tired of Brian's behaviour and wanted to insert some sense into his skull.

"You know you are shouting at me, acting a good mother but you didn't tell me that my dad never even for once loved me. You only forced him to be a dad that is when he thought he could love me, but he never did. You what, for once j feel like I don't even need his live love, I am okay with how I am. At least I have found my mother who is going to tell me the truth, I have siblings who are going to love me like I am their brother and not people who are going to hide me and lie to me," shouted Brian and he sat down next to Kathrine.

"Brian, are you serious?" Cried Vicky as she moved towards them. 

"We are your family Brian. Remember all that we have done together, the achievements we had. What we planned on doing baby. It's me, Brian. It's your mm Vicky, the woman who lives you and swore to be beside you even though I am not your wife." 

Vicky couldn't believe the decision that Brian was taking. She didn't want Brian to follow this woman back to where they will go. She was determined to fight and bring Brian back home. She knew Davids will start questioning him Nd will search for him until she find him. 

Andrew will be broken and devasted the whole of his life. He will even break up with Annie because his son had decided to go with the woman who once broke him. 

Everyone will be broken, his career might go on we'll but they won't be happy the way they were when Brian was around.

"Think of the hearts that you will break sweetheart, you will be my heart forever and I won't forgive you." 

Vicky was now crying and Brian we struck. Was she going to cry and hold on to him like this?

"Did you think of the hearts that you broke when you guys ganged up on me and ran away with my child?" Questioned Katherine.

Andrew was nowhere to be seen in this scene. He has run and settled himself on the toilet thinking of L the ways this meeting could have gone Nu better. He didn't seem to come up with an answer. 

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Everyone was startled by it.

"Anyone expecting a visitor?" Asked Tyler as he went ahead and opened the door. 

"Is Kathrine in?" Asked the man and the butler agreed and opened the door to show him in.

"Said, what are you doing here?" Exclaimed Kathrine after seeing his husband. 

The man just looked at him and shook his head. He started to gather her thing and place them inside the handbag.

"Time to go Kathrine don't you think?" He asked as he walked towards Kathrine. 

Katherine stood up and looked at Brian. She smiled at him and knew the time has tried to come. 

"In case you have clothes we can take them with us," Kathrine told Brian.

"Come with you where?" Brian asked sarcastically.

"Home Brian, home with is, with family," she replied happily.

Brian let out one sarcastic laughter when looking at her. Everyone in the region turned to him with a questionable look.

"So after your pathetic pretence, you thought I will follow you to your house Nd meet your family?" He asked with some tinge of hatred echoing in his voice.

"That we the truth Brian," she crowd while keeping down."Don't worry, your husband told me everything. You don't need to add anything. plus, your kids are not my favourite so please just walk.

Said forcefully dragged her out of the house and they were left hm there.

Vicky looked at Brian and lashed out a slap.

" next time you call me Vicky I am slaughtering your head. How could you pull that off so good? I was convinced that you had given in," 

Everyone was surprised with how he pulled the game and managed to more them. All along he was playing Kathrine. 

Brian knew everyone loved him and they didn't see him as a trophy or so. e toy. He loves them too and that is never changing.

"I love you, sorry for acting that way," 

His dad moved forward and higher him right. He thought that Brian was gone and everything is going to be lost but he was wrong. His son loves him no matter what he had said.

"I believe in you papa, I know you will never be so bad to assault someone. Also, I know when you said those words you never meant them. I am happy to have you as my father," he finished and placed a kiss on his dad's forehead.

"I love you too son,"
