Chapter 12: Talking with Dad, flaunting ones recruits

"Did you check your lord space?" this was the question he asked me with a serious face.

" Yes," I nodded positively in response, with a serious face.

Only after listening to me did he relax. He looked like something that had been pressurizing him had loosened up a lot.

" Good, Do you need anything for your lord space?" He didn't inquire about anything regarding my lord's space, the recruit I had, or the environment it was located in, before asking this question.

I kept quiet for some time before asking him to purchase two (Kitchen)knives for me as per the specifications provided by the succubi.

" Are you sure this is the only thing you need?" He was stunned at my request.

"Yup"

"Don't worry son! Your dad can at least provide you some help at the starting phase of your lordship. Do you need anything other than two (kitchen) knives for your lord space.?" He once again questioned me. This time his voice was serious.

" I don't need anything on my territory right now. Just help me purchase those two knives for now." I also replied sternly.

He looked at me for a long time, his thoughts unknown before nodding his head.

I was ready to have a long conversation with him regarding my lord space but I was spared from such efforts as my dad didn't bring up the topic regarding my lord space after that.

He even started talking about some random yet funny things from his younger days to brighten up the environment.

Soon it was dinner time.

" You two... Stop laughing and get in your chair. Dinner is going to be served within a minute."

My father was the first one to run towards the dining room while I followed back. Looking at the back of my father who always worked hard for our family, I was motivated to be just like him.

He worked as a white-collar salaryman but I would develop my territory as the most powerful territory and make them the ruler of my territory. The true sovereign whom even I would listen to.

Just thinking about such a future where every powerful daemon feared by the world being respectful to my parents made my blood boil.

But, I was nowhere near achieving my goal. So, I'm gonna take a step at a time for now.

The first mission I had right now was to explore the area surrounding my territory while hunting some monsters to obtain meat and materials needed for crafting weapons and other needed equipment within my territory.

" We can't satisfy our warriors without food. Don't you think??"So I was going to have my stomach full of food after being the lord of the territory.

Also, Lilith and Lily will be able to pile up the experience required to upgrade their tier once My territory gets upgraded as well.

" It was a Win-Win situation for me and my recruits."

The dinner was relaxed as regular with everyone enjoying food.

I had some refreshing time with my parents watching the television for some more time before returning to my bedroom.

I returned to my room earlier today but didn't enter my lord's space right away.

I wanted to enter the lord space but I couldn't do it as we, Tier-0 lords could only enter the lord space about 6 hours a day before exhausting our soul power.

The time we could remain inside the lord's space would gradually increase with our tier until we could permanently settle within the lord's space once it materializes in the real world.

Every upgrade in the lord's tier would increase the limit to enter the lord's space by 3 hours until we became tier 6 lords. (6 hrs, 9 hrs, 12 hrs, 15 hrs, 18 hrs, 21 hrs, 24 hrs and permanently)

Once they reach tier-7, they can live inside their lord space without any limit as they can directly teleport inside their territory with their physical body and not their soul body as the Lords did up to tier-6.

So, I looked at the messages on my laptop for some time. I was reading the messages sent to the student group.

" Haha... This brother recruited two orcs while recruiting today. They are powerful. Haha... I was even able to kill monsters outside the spatial screen with my boyzz.." The first message belonged to Raju who was flaunting his Orcs.

" Brother Raju.. Do you need some lackeys to do your bidding? I'm willing to become your lackey!!"

" Yup, I would also like to join your group if you need some helpers."

"Me too..."

"Me too..."

Raju was the only lord who was flaunting his troops in the group.

"Was he trying to amass the groups of lackeys by flaunting his strength??"

I didn't know but having his warriors known to everyone would definitely hamper his positioning in the upcoming school tournament.

No lords would willingly talk about their combat units like Raju was doing. As their opponents could easily make several battle plans or even utilize the troops that could restrict their warriors during battle.

" What warriors do you think others might have recruited??"

" Troy and Ruby might have recruited stronger warriors ."

" Yes, They had the best stats amongst those that awakened yesterday."

" Does anybody know? What the student without any attribute and talent might have awakened.?"

This question piqued my interest as the one in the question was definitely me.

" HEHE... What's there to think about? He might have recruited some farmers for plowing the land within his territory."

" Haha... That's what I thought."

" Me too."

I couldn't even be speechless looking at their thoughts on my recruits as it was known to all the people that those with no attributes mainly recruited farmers as their combat units.

" Let them think whatever they want to think.!"

I only shook my head before closing the laptop and lying down on my bed.

I gazed at my hands for a long time before gradually falling asleep.

Knock knock....

I was once again woken up today by the light knock on the door.

" You've got a parcel. Get down and receive it."It was my mom calling me.

"Parcel", I was confused for some time before finally remembering the request I had made to my dad regarding the Kives I wanted for my Succibi yesterday.

" Where is Dad?" I asked my mom.

" OH, He went to his job early today." Did you have any work with him dear.?

" No... Just wanted to thank him."

" Haha... There's no need. He was excited to purchase the thing for you yesterday. He didn't even sleep properly last night." My mom replied while laughing.

" Was it the feeling of being loved?." I thought to myself before getting down from my room to receive the parcel my dad had purchased for me.

CREAK!!

" Are you Mr. Sumit Karl.?" The middle-aged man with a small box in his hand asked me. He was a lord as those people who were eligible to deliver the parcel, especially anything related to lords nowadays were mostly lords with low potential or talent.

He provided me with the box before leaving with my signature once I nodded at him.

Looking at his hasty steps, he definitely had several other parcels to deliver as he didn't even bother wasting a word after delivering the package.
