Ilimi Kati appeared momentarily surprised but seemed to accept Lin Ruo's explanation.

Lin Ruo observed him for a moment and then inquired, "So, Mr. Katy, could you please share with me the reason for your visit today?"

Ilimi Kati didn't immediately respond. He glanced around, ensuring there were no eavesdroppers. Nervously, he said, "Before I explain, you must promise not to consider me insane."

"Rest assured, Mr. Ilimi Kati. You must trust in my professionalism. As a detective, I've encountered far stranger cases than you can imagine. Things that may seem crazy to you could be entirely ordinary in my line of work. Please feel free to share your concerns with me," Lin Ruo reassured him, his smile becoming slightly more serious and reassuring.

Ilimi Kati seemed to trust Lin Ruo's demeanor, and though still anxious, he relaxed a bit. He then confessed, "Well, it's like this. I... I believe my girlfriend is not real."
