No Room to Work- Part 1

The carriage halts and we finally arrive at our destination, The Calore Mansion.

The coaches hurry to open the doors for the royal family. Once they insured they were out of the carriage they let go of the door causing me to grab it before it shuts. "What rude coaches" I mutter under my breath. We walk in silence till the front door opens to reveal what looks like the head maid of the household.

She bows to the royal family, "Welcome back Milords! Welcome back Lady Shu." She raises to see me following behind, "Milords who is this?" The one known as Shu keeps walking while the two lords stay back to talk with the maid. Cal then motions to me, "This is our newest servant. Julia do you know if we have any open jobs for her yet?" Julia shakes her head, "I'm sorry your majesty but, we already have enough cooks,maids, and butlers. And everyone in the mansion already has a personal maid/butler. If you would like your highness we could give her a room and let her stay until a job opens up for her." Cal nods his head, "I guess that's the only thing to do. Julia get a room set up for her immediately. Let me know when a position has come up for her." And at that Cal walks out of the room, Julia motions for me to follow before she hears Mavens voice. "I'll wait with her till you get the room Julia just hurry up." She nod her head then bows and rushes out. I follow Maven to a sitting area, without realizing the error I sit down in one of the chairs. "What do you think your doing Melody? Servants of the Calore family don't sit in the chairs amongst the family." I stand up right away and look at him curiously, "Then where do I sit you majesty?" He studies me for a couple minutes then finally answers the question. "Why on the floor of course." I glare at him trying to figure out if hes joking or not. I realize after a while that he isn't joking and quickly sit down,
