Chapter 2: The Miracle Happens
Jinsoo woke up with his whole body on pain.
He tries to stand up but everytime he does, He falls down because of the pain.
"Gah.. Why the hell am I feeling like my whole body is getting tortured."
He let's his body rest for awhile, And when the pain is gone he stood up.
"Where's that box thingy.. And why did my body experienced a torture after I clicked the (Yes.) Button."
As he was about to take a step.
He heard a voice....
Not any normal voice but it's coming from inside his head.
"Jinsoo Kang, You are now part of the (System)"
Jinsoo looked around, But find nothing.
"That's... Strange."
"All of this things are happening to me all of the sudden... It's just so weird.."
Then a blue box thingy popped right in front of him.
"Hello, Jinsoo Kang, Since you became a part of the (System), I am your (Menu) and this is where you can learn all the things, And upgrade your stats."
"You can summon me just by saying 'Menu Open.' In your mind three times, The same goes for closing me but instead you will say 'Close Menu'."
Then the Menu suddenly closed.
Jinsoo was deeply amazed by it.
"I used to read manwha like this online, Never knew something like this could happen in real life."
"Anways, I'll just try it. "
"Open Menu, Open Menu, Open Menu. "
The Menu suddenly opened, Informing him that he completed a task and has gained 500 Points.
"Points? What is a points? "
Then the Menu answered with:
"You can use your points to upgrade your stats, Which is like 1 point = +1 Stat Point"
"You could also buy exclusive skills that will cost you more, But I assure you that it will highly benefit you in some way."
Jinsoo kind of understanding it but still a little bit confused, He asked:
"Uh... How could I upgrade my stats? Is there like a button for it?"
The Menu replied with:
"You can click that shiny button on the top left corner of the screen. And it will show you your overall stats and there's a '+' button on the side of the listed stats. Just click the + button and you will automatically upgrade it. "
Which Jinsoo did.
And when he does the screen changed to 'Attributes'
And Jinsoo saw his exact stats.
Jinsoo's overall stats are listed below:
-Weak (89) |+|
-Potential (Untapped)
-Special Skills
(Currently Have No Special Skills)
-Very Unattractive (56) |+|
-Combat Experience (Novice)
-Weapon Experience (Novice)
"Well.. Damn, My stats are weak as hell."
"I just need to press the + to upgrade right? "
The System Answered:
"Yes, You can also set the amount of points you would like to put so you don't spend your time clicking the screen for a straight 2 minutes."
Jinsoo thinked and said..
"Well, It makes sense, So.. All of my given stats are weak, But which one should I upgrade... "
"Hm... I have been dreaming to get a somewhat handsome face, And since the system just gaved me 500 points, I'd still had enough to spend for the other one.. Well let's see. "
Jinsoo putted 250 on the looks, And the other 250 for his physical stats.
Jinsoo pressed the '+' button.
A warning popped up and asked him if he was sure, Because any done transactions can't be reversed.
And Jinsoo pressed 'Yes'.
As soon as he hit the Yes Button.
His Body SUDDENLY Glowed with neon bright light for atleast 7 seconds then it returned back to normal.
After that Jinsoo noticed that he kinda got taller, And as he examined his body, It was no longer fat.
As he turned and faced the screen system he saw his new stats:
-Below Average (339) |+|
-Potential (Untapped)
-Special Skills
(Currently Have No Special Skills)
-Average Looks (306) |+|
-Combat Experience (Novice)
-Weapon Experience (Novice)
"My body feels lighter than ever. "
As Jinsoo tried to move around with his new body.
He quickly goes on the mirror to check himself.
And he was surprised.
As he saw a different person, Not an ugly fat guy, But an average guy.
He was so happy inside and keep touching his face while looking at the mirror.
