Unforeseen Encounter!

At J Highschool it was currently lunch time and students were eating their lunch in the cafeteria.

In one corner of the cafeteria, a certain group of boys were gathered at a table, and a few of them had bandages across their faces.

"My neck still hurts from that damn kick." Zack rubbed his neck which was bandaged up.

"I was too weak." Vasco clenched his fist, he was the only one who didn't need any bandages.

"My jaw was almost broken, I should have never accepted that deal." Vin grumbled, multiple parts of his body were bandaged up,

"Hehe, Jay thanks for taking us to the hospital a few days ago." Daniel smiled ruefully while rubbing the back of his head, he also had bandages on his face.

Jay just nodded with a nervous smile and started doing random hand gestures to Daniel.

"Oh no, you don't have to apologize. It's our fault for going against him anyways." Daniel waved his hands infront of him, assuring Jay it was fine.

"Who the hell was he anyways? You seemed to have known him Vin." Zack questioned.

Once Zack finished speaking, the rest of the guys had their eyes on Vin, waiting for an answer, even Jay.

"Aren't you the one who hangs with him?" Vin questioned annoyingly while looking toward Jay.

Jay just shrugged his shoulders.

"Why am I even sitting here? *Sigh* His name is Park Mazino, me and Mary have known him since our childhood, he used to take care of us sometimes. Until one day he murdered his father in cold blood and escaped." Vin simply explained with a frown.

Everyone's eye's widened.

"Huh? He killed his father? Even if that was true, he only seemed to be in his 20's, which means at that point in time he would have been pretty young." Zack reasoned.

"You've seen him right? Look at his strength, he probably could have beat us when he was in middle school." Vin retorted.

Zack stayed silent at his words, he also knew how strong that man was.

"Did he really kill his own father? He didn't seem that bad, it even seemed like he was holding back against us. " Daniel chimed in with a nervous smile.

"Well, I heard that the police found evidence that he was the perpetrator. To be honest, he always treated me and Mary good, but there were times when he would be ruthless to others, so I wouldn't be surprised if he did kill them. Regardless he's dangerous, I've always told Mary we should stay away from him but she always disagreed." Vin explained.

Daniel's eyes widened, and he silently nodded toward Vin.

"Damn, I let such a villain get away." Vasco muttered while looking down.

"Did he have any family?" Zack questioned.

"Yeah, I remember he had a little sister and a mother. I also remember hearing his sister saw the dead body of her father and even the mother did." Vin added while shaking his head.

"Oh my god!"

A feminine voice was heard from the table behind them.

"Joy?" Daniel questioned while looking at the flustered girl.

"Don't tell me you were spying on our conversation?" Vin twisted his torso around and narrowed his eyes at Joy.

"Uh n-no, m-maybe a little." Joy nervously chuckled.

Vin just sighed and turned back around.

"Is that all true?" Joy questioned while sitting down with the boys.

"Oh yeah, Jay did tell us he's your bodyguard. His reputation as a foreign private contractor is quite dangerous from what I hear, so I could see why he was hired. Oh and yeah it's all true."

"But don't tell anyone, if Mary finds out, she'll kill me." Vin added while shuddering.

Joy just nodded, she seemed to be in a daze.

"Is he gonna pick you up for school today?" Zack asked.

"Uh no, it seems he's busy with something today." Joy replied.

"Busy? Isn't his job to protect you guys." Zack raised his brow.

"It's one of his jobs, my dad doesn't tell me much but he also works for my dad's company."

On a roof high in the sky, a masked man could be seen sitting on the edge watching his phone.

Currently, Mazino was in complete black attire, wearing a mask and glasses, his black hair swaying with the wind.

He was currently watching a live feed of a certain lightly tanned high school girl smiling and laughing with her friends.

When she smiled, he would smile unconsciously.

Turning off the phone, he turned around and picked up a backpack-looking object and strapped it to his back.

"I have one shitty life." He muttered while looking down at the far streets with his feet dangling.

Until suddenly letting himself slip off the edge of the roof.

Whooshh!!

Feeling the air push against him, he immediately pulled the parachute on his back.

Guiding his route, he was aiming for a certain building below him,.

After a few more minutes he landed on the roof of a building with a roll.

"That was easier then I thought." He dropped the parachute off his back and walked toward the door that leads to the staircase.

Bang!

Breaking the door handle open with a kick, he started to descend the stairs.

While descending he noticed it was getting more crowded in each hallway office but he made sure to avoid all employees and cameras.

Until suddenly stopping at a certain floor, he noticed it was one of the only ones which was empty.

"This seems to be the floor where James Lee's office at. If my information is correct, he should be out during this time for a lunch break."

"But does this mean Chairman Hong knew about James Lee all along but never told Chairman Choi? I don't remember this in the original plot line, it seems I'm changing many things because of my presence." Mazino thought aloud when walking toward the office door.

As soon as he was about to reach the door handle, he felt a presence behind him.

Instinctively he swung his right elbow behind him.

Bam!

"Fuck, who the fuck!?-" A certain blonde man with a katana on his back grabbed his nose in pain.

"Goo?" Mazino questioned with wide eyes.

"Hu- Park!? No fucking wonder that shit hurt." Goo Kim, Gun Park's partner seemed to have shown up.

"I didn't wanna waste time here." Mazino muttered with a frown, he knew time was limited before James Lee came back from lunch.

Even though he and Goo have a history, he knows Goo likes money over such trivial things.

"Don't tell me your here to investigate James Lee too?" Goo questioned while wiping the blood off his nose.

"Your investigating James Lee too?" Mazino raised his brow.

"Yeah!! Since that's the case we can work together and get some information." Goo smiled and started walking toward Mazino.

"Why would I work with you?" Mazino looked at him pointedly.

"Don't be like that, we went to the same high school and were kicking ass." Goo continued to walk closer with a friendly smile.

Mazino just silently stared at him.

"Don't tell me your still mad about me shaving a piece of your hair because Gun paid me too?" Goo questioned.

"Bastard, it wasn't just a piece, basically a good quarter of my hair was gone. I had to wear a hat for months because of you." Mazino glared at Goo.

"Hehe, well about tha-" While Goo was speaking he instantly pulled out his katana and swung down toward Mazino.

Mazino simply took one step to the left and watched the blade pass him.

"Just checking if you still had it." Goo chuckled nervously and sheathed his blade as if nothing happened.

"Let's go, I don't have time for your bullshit." Mazino turned around and noticed there was an electric lock that needed a password.

"Yeah yeah." Goo grumbled while taking a closer look beside him.

"You know it?" Mazino looked at Goo questioningly.

"Don't you have your own way to open it?" Goo retorted.

"Yeah, but it would take time, do you have a way or not?"

"Yeah?" Goo showed his palm toward Mazino while whistling and looking in the opposite direction.

"Money? I'm not giving you shit, you either open it or we're not working together. I know the only reason you wanna work with me is just in case we get caught by James Lee. Your worried you might lose aren't you?" Mazion looked at Goo with a smirk.

"Last time when we were in high school he took you, me, and Gun on by himself. Even though we're much stronger now, it's better to be 2vs1 than 1vs1, don't you think? " Goo smirked back.

"I suppose it is, now open it up." Mazino muttered while recalling the memory of when the three of them got their asses handed to them by one guy.

"Yeah yeah."

Goo used his body to cover the keypad and put in a password.

Click!

The door clicked open, and both Mazino and Goo entered looking around warily.

"An office? This is practically a library." Goo muttered.

There was a brown grandiose desk in the back of the room with large library shelves on each side.

The walls were shelves full of books going up to 10 meters.

They both soon started to search around for anything they can find.

"You still practice that ancient ass martial art? I think it was called Hakuda." Goo tried to make conversation while sifting through the office desk.

"Of course, that's my main martial arts technique." Mazino replied while seemingly looking through the shelves.

(Hakuda is a real martial art but for my fanfic, it will be based on the one from Bleach.)

"By the way why are you investigating James Lee?" Mazino questioned.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell you. Well, the Chairman said he was found having talks with the Workers behind our backs. What about you?" Goo replied.

'On chapter 426 or sum, it showed him betraying the Chairman. That means he planned to betray Chairman this far back. '

"Well, I'm tasked with finding incriminating information we can use against James Lee." Mazino shrugged.

"Let's just do finders keepers, I'd rather not fight right now." Goo added while putting back the things neatly on the desk.

Mazino nodded silently while continuously looking through each bookshelf.

"Why do you keep looking at the books over there?" Goo questioned walking toward Mazino.

"Use your head for once. Why would he put things that are important in the open, there's most likely some sort of secret entrance here and I'm trying to find it."

"I see, I might as well help." Goo nodded while also starting to sift through the bookshelves with Mazino.

After rummaging a few more minutes.

Click!

"I found it! Easy peazy!" Goo slightly pulled a book that clicked open the 10 feet tall bookshelf.

"Stop acting like a kid." Mazino walked toward Goo and lightly slapped the back of his head.

"Ow that hurt!" Goo rubbed the back of his neck as he and Mazino entered the mysterious room behind the bookshelf.
