The other three looked around the table at each other. They didn’t seem to know.

“I think there are several, Luis,” Roberto said and frowned. “They are like cockroaches. We step on one and others appear.”

“Then we have problems, gentlemen,” Luis concluded. “We must rid ourselves of Juan Carlos Ortega. He should have been aware of all this. He should have had his Intelligenciaout making sure that there were no rebel groups.”

They all nodded.

“There is a lot he should have done. But it is too late now. We chose the wrong man to lead us.” Luis Alvasado was certain of his task now. “We’ve got to put a stop to him.”28

Day 875

“Craig?” Wendell Adreopolous said as he entered Craig’s office. “Look at these.” He placed a set of satellite photos on Craig’s desk. “No one pointed this out before. That’s one of the Blackhawks we gave Ortega.” He pointed out the images on the photos.

“Haven’t we been keeping a watch on what he does with them?” Craig asked.
