During my info extraction I also learned that the hospital already called in authorities about me waking up.

I am not talking about Japanese government, I am a Blazer so they called the League...

Let's hope they send someone kind and understanding because I have no intentions of getting adopted to a prodigious blazer family and get trained as a national weapon, maybe if I was planning on living here I could have but alas I have other places to be and women to court.

I mean why should I interfere with the plot if I am not getting anything out of it? While one might think I should get friends and such but I will not be coming back here thus there's no need.

I sounded like a true magus didn't I?

After I was transferred to a private room I was left alone, I turned on the TV for background noise and started waiting.

While waiting for the people from the League I tried remembering other stuff about this world.

I remember that Blazers have different education system starting from Highschool but before that they have tournaments and such to see young talents what was it called Little League...

Yeah, not the greatest name they could give, then there was Senior League then U-12 World Tournament.

Highschool is totally different from normal education it's totally focused on battles and how fight better.

They also have a thing called Seven Stars Sword Art Festival. I have a feeling I am going to get sick of tournaments here.

Having nothing to do I started a mental chat with Morgan who's doing experiments on samples from my Assassin's Creed body. She's a bit stuck since she doesn't have much knowledge about DNA but she's getting there.

She doesn't need any explanations for the worlds we're visiting since ring handles that part so she's just waiting on the time limit we discovered for her adaptation, after that Morgan can awaken her own blazer ability and device.

Just when my wife started sending me some juicy mental images, my door got opened, following that was a sharp individual whom I recognized as Itsuki Kurogane the Japanese Branch Chief of Magic-Knight League.

How did I recognized him because he looks similar to Ikki and he is being followed by his daughter Shizuku and she has rather distinct traits that makes her easy to identify even when she's 6-7 years old.

Is this guy trying to use his daughter to get to me? Well, that's smart. It's a good tactic to get a child to open up but the calculating look in his eyes giving away his intentions.

He doesn't see me as a child but a soldier and to him I am already following his orders. Sigh, it looks like I am running away.

Thankfully I can switch bodies, that should let me escape without using magic, I don't know if other blazers can detect and resist my Magecraft.

"Hello young man, my name is Kurogane Itsuki and this is my daughter Shizuku. Would you mind keeping her company while I handled your paperwork." Okay he's good. Seeing me nod Itsuki gives a slight smile and has Shizuku sit on a chair before leaving my room.

While his plan might have had some backing what he doesn't realize that his daughter isn't really a social butterfly.

Also due to my enhanced senses I can see that one of her cheeks is slightly red. So she already got bitch slapped by Ikki.

Keep in mind Shizuku was raised to believe she can get away with anything since she had talent until Ikki slapped the thot out of her also she's supposed to be scary smart for her age.

[I mean she's from a family that abuses a child because he wasn't born up to standards let's just say she matured early on]

"Well, I am supposed to preach Kurogane house so you would accept adoption." She admits, her head is down like she's doing something shameful.

"Well, let's hear it."

"There's nothing much to tell my family is a 'renowned' family that produced many 'prodigies' if you accept you will be taken in to the 'branch' family." Damn I can hear the edge...

"You almost sound like you don't want me in your family." That got her to stop and look at my face for the first time since she got in the room, since I got the lead in the conversation I decided to end her worries.

"I saw your father's eyes he looked at me like I am a item on discount sale. So don't worry nothing can make me accept your father's offer."

She's probably worried that her family would isolate her brother even more than they're already doing if I got there.

Which might be true since I would totally be friends with him and that would draw attention and knowing "elder" type characters they would possibly throw him into a locked room.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to talk more because Itsuki came back with a shit eating grin that didn't suit his face.

"Well, did you two got along?"

"Something like that."

"Good, good now, Ren I believe you are yet to be informed of your situation..." While saying this he sat at the end of the bed before explaining the stuff about my family that I already learned from the nurse.

Which was rather disturbing since he was talking about my dead parents with that smile on his face.

He also explained how those who awakened as Blazers have to learn how to control their abilities.

He didn't even mention that I could go back to a normal life since that's a legit option.

To not to depress me even further he talked about magic, any other child would be awed but I was just bored finally feeling that he got me in his snares he offered the adoption.

"So you're telling me if I accept this offer I will have support of a powerful family while I am studying which would make my training as a Blazer smooth sailing."

"Indeed, aren't you brilliant!"

"Also this offer is something other people could only dream of..."

"I am glad that you understand the..."

"...But I refuse!(Daga Kotowaru!)" The room went silent all of the sudden.

"Sorry but what did you say?"

"I refuse..." I was about to finish my JoJo reference but he didn't let me talk.

"*cough*you seem like you could use some time to think about my proposal, so I will give you some time, come on Shizuku let's go and give Ren some time." Man his face looks so funny right now.

Funny enough after Itsuki left they gave me an MRI to see if I had something in my head...

By the end of the day I got a meeting with a psychiatrist and got green light for mental health.

Luckily psychiatrist didn't come to my room I went to hers and I was able to enter public restroom while returning, in there I changed to Ethan Ambrosius and left the hospital while whistling.

I need to get somewhere Itsuki can't casually stroll in and take me with some legal loophole.
