Chapter 11- I'm back

Xu Huo immediately ran after Wen Qiu whilst Liao Ping ran after Elder Cai. Elder Cai got quite far into the forest of eerie before he was murdered by Liao Ping whilst Xu Huo murdered Wen Qiu after some visible hesitation and almost being killed himself. They then took the other party's belongings and destroyed their corpses so that no evidence was left behind, Xu Huo and Liao Ping then met back up and Xu Huo carried Daoist Xinya whilst making sure the belongings were destroyed after trying to look for anything of value in them. "B-Brother Ping, I-I was almost killed because of hesitation and I threw up several times before regaining my bearings" "You're lucky that you didn't die, and if you did, I would've made sure that Wen Qiu died a horrible death" "I don't really know what to say but thank you" "Let's start going back to the sect, Brother Huo" "Brother Ping, am I really going to be carrying a female into the sect?" "You will be carrying her throughout the journey and into the sect" "Why? She'll attract a lot of attention since she's very pretty if I carry her into the sect" "We don't know who she is and we can have your master figure the rest of things out instead" "She'll punish me if I brought a female to her without any reason why!" "I'll go with you to explain it to her" they then started running toward and through the forest of eerie to return the Immortal Dragon Sect.

When they reached the sect, it was already night time and the moon was already high in the sky.

"Who goes there?"

"We're disciples of Master Hu Tu and Master Mao Ruogang!" "Prove it!" "I am disciple Liao Ping and he is disciple Xu Huo, we went on a mission to hunt the White Venomous Snake that was terrorizing a village on the other side of the forest of eerie for its gallbladder and you can confirm this with Elder Tyrant from the missions pavilion!" They had someone go confirm that these disciples called Liao Ping and Xu Huo went on a mission to hunt a White Venomous Snake. Elder Tyrant gave them a confirmation and they let in Liao Ping and Xu Huo.

They were asked why they had a female on Xu Huo's shoulder, "Why is there a female on your shoulder?" "She was knocked out by us because she was gonna be blackmailed by a junior and elder of her sect" "We heard fighting and came to her aid only when we knew who was good and bad" "That still doesn't explain why-" "We're gonna take her to my master, Mao Ruogang" "A-alright, g-go ahead and some advice to you, a disciple of master Ruogang, she'll punish you without a thought if you have a bad reason" then the guarding disciples whether or not other disciples there understood, started praying to the heavenly dao that Xu Huo wouldn't tell her that they said anything to him.

When they had gotten to the entrance of Crimson Dragon Peak, Xu Huo warned Liao Ping "Brother Ping, I hope that you won't be implicated by this" "Don't worry about it" then they headed up the path and toward his master's hut. When they arrived at his master's hut, the area was eerily quiet. Xu Huo prepared himself for the scolding that he would receive from his master, "Master, I am back from a mission! I hope that you could allow me and a friend inside to discuss with you" there was no answer for a while until Liao Ping started walking away from Xu Huo's side. "Brother Ping, what are you doing?" "I am going back to my peak" "J-Just get back over here" "Did you not think about your master's situation. She could be either progressing her cultivation or having enlightenment" "T-That makes sense but you can't back out of this mess we're in" 'I really hope that Brother Ping isn't about to dump this mess onto me' "Okay then, we'll just try again tomorrow and continue cultivating" then they parted ways for the night.

Liao Ping returned to the Bronze Dragon Peak and immediately went to his hut and slept. When he woke up a bit later than usual, he immediately got prepared after waking himself up and started heading toward the entrance of the sect after giving out his greetings to his juniors and master. They didn't think too much about where Liao Ping was and continued cultivating. As Liao Ping walked out of the entrance of the sect, Autumn poked her head out of his robes and looked around before going back to rest in his robes. He then took out his giant snake sculpture and continued working on it until he saw the town in the distance. He put away the sculpture and went to Mr.Lui's shop, "Mr.Lui, is there anything new in your shop?" "Nothing as of the late, but there have been some rumors circling" "Could you tell me some?" "Sure, but not all of it might be reliable, it'll cost you a gold coin and 5 silver coins for what I've heard" "Can I get something to drink?" "Here, have some wine that I got from a friend" "Thank you for the hospitality, Mr. Lui" 'This kid's messing with me yet again' "So are you gonna listen or just sarcastically mess around?" "I'll stop, I'll stop, Mr. Lui please begin" "So, one of the earliest rumors was that a Beast Lord, you might not have heard but are super dangerous to cultivators and people alike-has decided to transform into human form!" "Are the cultivators doing anything about it?" "I've seen clusters of them heading toward the northern mountains" "What could cause a Beast Lord to transform into a human form?" "Dunno but as I was saying, another rumor was that a kingdom was sieged by some evil cultivators"

"Is there any other rumors?" "This is the latest that I've heard, a couple of evil cultivators have been seen around the forests and woods late at night" "I'll take note to not leave during the night" "Ms. Chang has asked me to tell you that you may show up and leave anytime you want as long as you do a great job of helping her business" "I'll continue to come bright and early to Ms. Chang's restaurant" then Liao Ping finished the wine that he had gotten from Mr. Lui before heading toward the restaurant.
