Chapter-3 Nightmare

"Beat this trash"

"Break his arm"

"This son of bitch is going to ruin our family reputation"

" Whip him harder, so he won't be able to walk outside from his room"

"haha, haha Trash, who can't even do single things"

"beat him harder"

"hahahahahahahahahaha"

Among the sound of mocking and laugh, I heard a young boy crying, shouting for help. He was laying on a cold floor, miserably screaming.

"No. Please leave me alone. Don't beat me"

" Somebody help me"

"STOP"

After hearing the last word "stop" and scream, I wake up trembling while breathing heavily and tears all over my eyes. My whole body is sweating.

"What are those sounds and who was that child asking for help", I asked myself. After slowing, controlling my trembling body and wipe my tears. I walk toward the mirror to look at the appearance of John. I removed my clothes, I can see the hit & burn marks on John's back, thighs, arms, and most of his body. So, the dream I just saw is the memories of John.

Looks like John frequently gets the nightmare of abuse he has got from his family. This poor guy is truly pitiful. How long this guy has been suffering and handling all those pain alone.

I calm down and drink a glass of water. I look at my phone and the date is 5th January.

"5th Jan, Today is the day I will be going to The Academy", it has been a month since I start living in this house and I haven't heard anything from Ethan until now after the first and last breakfast of mine. Well, that's nothing new, he has always been avoiding John.

"Instead of stressing about Ethan, I should start preparing to leave for Royal Academy," I smiled, looking at the warm sunrise from my room window.

After a while, I finished getting ready and my luggage was already been packed up by Mike. Mike, is the bodyguard. He is 20 years. He ended dying for the sake of John in the novel. Furthermore, he is the only one John trust most and cared about. Hmm, John, looks like Mike as a big brother. Well after Mike died John went into an insane person and end up in prison for some months while trying to kill Luke.

But now that won't happen. Since I took over John's body, everything is mine. I will treat kindly to the person who was kind to him and repay those who have hurt him.

"May your soul rest in peace, John. Don't worry, I will surely get them who has hurt you and protect the ones you care," I promised to John and walk outside this unwelcomed house toward my destination.

Before entering the car, I looked back at the main door of the Great Red Dragon Clan. "Be ready when I return," I mumble, looking cold at the house.

"Are you ready to go, Sir?" Mike.

"Yes, let's go," I look away from the house and enter the car.

"We will reach Academy in 4 Hours Sir, do you want to buy anything in the way?" Mike.

"No. Wake me up when we reached Academy," John.

"Okay sir," Mike.

John closes his eyes and starts thinking about the novel. In the original, John won't get a chance to enter the Academy. He will fail the entrance exam due to Luke. On the first night of John in Dorm, Luke will threaten and mentally torture John. So, he won't be able to go take part in the Entrance Exam.

"If that's what Luke is going to do to me according to the novel, then should not I need to welcome and treat him properly," John grins while thinking about how to treat Luke.

Mike glanced at John, who was sleeping to check everything is okay or not, but he was shocked to see an evil grin on John's face.
