Birthdays

"So how do you plan to celebrate your birthday? " When I was being asked about this. I almost dropped the pudding in my hands. "Oh well, just like any other year. " Carmen's eyes became so big. "So, you're not going to celebrate? Why? Birthdays are happy occasions!"

I smiled awkwardly and said "Haha, ya. "

To me, birthday was a happy thing until I reached 12 years old. I used to be a popular kid in school, everyone will celebrate my birthday with me and wished me on my birthday, even buy presents for me. Something made me realised that birthday perhaps is not really a happy thing to me.

"Oh, recess is over, let's go back to class. " She hold my hand and ran back to class.

"Ouch!" I shouted after someone banged into me.

"I'm so so sorry!" The boy climb back up from the floor. "Oh, it's okay. "

"Wow, banged into someone handsome on your birthday, what a blessing! " I rolled my eyes as my stupid ass bestfriend says that.

"But, do you know him? " Carmen shook her head. "Oh well, maybe he's a new student? Are you interested in him? " I turned and looked at her "Oh, for god sake! "

We continue chit chatting. Till our class teacher entered the class. " Good morning everyone. We have a new student who will be joining our class. Come introduced yourself. "

A 6 feet tall guy walked in the class and started introducing himself.

"Hi, my name is Wen Li."

Why does that voice sounded so familiar?
