[Greece // Hoperri village, Central // 181 BC, 2nd Century BC]
The sun had just risen from the horizon but someone was already awake and working, David was cleaning the arena early in the day from bones, old weapons, and anything that might hinder the field from the day's [Tyranny Trials] that takes place in the afternoon.
For the past few days, David sweeped this Coliseum for the awaited event.
'Tyranny Trials.... That wasn't recorded in history as far as I could remember, this is not normal,
but since when was normal a thing ever since I got here?' David thought as he continued sweeping off debris on the canal that is connected all around the Coliseum.
Ever since David learned how to speak Greek, talk in Latin, and use other languages that are in the current time and place, which is 181 BC and it took him 6 years to start talking, he was informed of most happenings in the world;
apparently the world was peaceful a few years ago until it wasn't, a sudden tremble shook the world for a day, following that was the appearance of beings of [Chaos],
They caused destruction and tyranny everywhere they walk, humans thought they were a bunch of crazy unintelligent beasts, but it was proven to be that they weren't really,
because there were many kinds of them, there were also some with consciousness or had an understanding of the world, there were also some beings born from humans through birth like [Grims] and [Harpies] or through human desires like [Djinns] and [Treamites].
"it's absolutely a surprise on how people could still live in prosperity" David remarke, in truth it was truly amazing how humans still aren't extinct in a way, "... and I still can't remember stuff well, those novels about time traveling to the past were lies, I mean, how the heck am I supposed to remember how to make trains and stuff?,
truth be told, I'm not the sharpest tool in the... Factory? Was that the term?" he really doesn't remember most stuff from his past life as he dislikes what he did,
so he kind of pushed away or not thinking about those memories resulting in also kinda forgetting the other stuff that might have proven to be important to him now that he's stuck in the past.
-----1 hour later-----
After discarding the last wheelbarrow of "Human Waste", finally David could rest and return back home to the farm without worrying about waking up early the next day to continue cleaning the Village's Coliseum,
"If I remember correctly, isn't there only supposed to be one Coliseum? Then why the fuck was there others?", this was clearly the effect of having multiple of monsters in variety that it forced the current civilization's culture and way of thinking to advance,
Though not enough to have electricity and not create words like 'city' instead of 'massive village', it is enough to advance to having actual ways to cure current disease, use different ores for necessary reasons, build different infrastructure and architecture from cheap and easily attainable resources
David's thoughts were all over the place as he kept asking like he has for years ever since he gained some knowledge of the current world, "It's practically half Roman times, half Mideval times, that and vikings already exist....
This world is messed up", as he was about to lock the metal Coliseum front gates, which is the only access inside the place, he bumped into someone. Though scrawny, David wasn't the one who staggered back but rather it was the other person, who has a big figure with muscles and a belly with his body covered in scars, Cranstious.
"What are you doing out here?" Crans asked as he looked down at the boy from his height, whilst keeping his annoyed demeanor.
"I have already finished what all there is to do" David said while keeping his poker face, the reason? Because this is the first time he actually talked to someone like crans,
a way to describe it, felt like a mountain of bones built from madness hiding behind a fog of a hill full of corpses from war,
"Good, do me a favor and hand me the keys to the Coliseum. I'm going to check if anything isn't out of place" Crans smirked a bit, as he loosened his grumpy expression.
"Rest assured sir, I have--", "Look I know you are trying to do good, I'm just here to check if anything is wrong and if there is something wrong, I'll handle the it" Crans cut off the child's words,
David was reluctant at first but soon agreed and gave the keys to everything that has a door in the Coliseum.
"Good choice, now off you go, that old man Erisotle must be still waiting for you, cooking something bitter probably too" Crans said as he walked past David and went inside the Coliseum.
"Understood, sir Crans" David said as he walked away with his mind filled with things that he could do to entertain himself for the whole day, 'I could just ask the old man if we could watch the Tyranny Trials' he nodded at his own solid idea.
While David was walking away from the gate of the Coliseum, his mind busy with stuff...
Crans, was watching the boy walk away, with dead face, "Interesting.... I wonder, for how long has there been a beast walking amongst us?" he said as he smiles, "I guess that brat wasn't lying when he told me that the farm boy was a monster"
'if he's.... Then, should I get rid of him?' a dark thought sneered into the senile man's head.

[Southern outskirts of the Hoperri village]
Oblivious to the intimidating man's revelation, David just kept walking with his rugged thin leather boots, while the hot wind of the midday mixed with the smell of the ocean crash on his body as he walked alongside the edge of the cliffs,
He took this long path because could think properly and let him relax in a way, while walking David was thinking about what to do next, 'I have already harvested the apples and sold them to the merchant yesterday, most of the farm chores that I have been given were finished and the rest of the farm chores was left to Erisotle.... I have nothing to do, again'
The boy was in deep thought until he glimpse something far on the east, it wasn't one thing it was actually hundreds of them headed towards the massive village's harbor 'those are huge boats--.... No, Those are [Persian Warships]!!'
