“All right,” Joe finally conceded. “I believe in you.”

Dubois looked back at the bars with a new look of resolution on his face. His jaw was set and his eyes were hard. When old Crawford unlocked their gate, Joe and Dubois stepped out into the hall.

Dubois walked like a man carrying a live grenade in his pocket. A man with the power to take down this place.

Could he be the one to expose Cooke and Murphy, and their acolytes? Dubois had the connections. Knew the right people. Could he be the man to end Linhart’s reign of terror?
