The Mysterious Old Man

Near the ruin inside the dark forest lay the military facilities, and training facilities for the soldiers and creation of weapons and units of the Army. Though many facilities like this one is scattered all over the Urza kingdom, it was the only area that holds training for new recruits and aspiring soldiers, including the police and royal guard.

"Hey you, what are you doing here? Recruit, come here." Damian Gemunia who was a Private, with single gold stripe but not yet assigned to any branch of Military or Royal guard and police. called a passerby during his break after they finished training.

"Are you lost or something?" Damian asked the person as he saw no ranks on his shoulder and even on his sleeves but wearing an unfamiliar uniform. The young man turned around at his call and saw Damian who was smirking and seemed to have something naughty plan.

"Hey hey hey, are you deaf? You should call me senior." Damian who is smirking and gesturing to his single golden stripe in his sleeve. Damian was in a normal training uniform that everyone uses. It was a tight black streamlined uniform perfect for training.

"Private." The Young man mumbled.

"What? By the way, I have a mission for you new guy. Before you settle in you apartment, buy some chocolates for me, ill be waiting at F25 apartment building room 12." Damian was whispering while he wrapped his arms on the young mans shoulder. But he was startled with a pain in his head.

"Private Damian, what are you doing here? Are you bullying new recruits again?" has double silver stripe, the officer who smacked Damian's head was a captain.

"Woahh, captain, I was just guiding this new recruit here on where his apartment." Damian scratched his pained head while explaining like a puppy under the serious gaze of the captain.

The captain however look at the young man and look at his uniform. It was an unfamiliar uniform to him, the captain slowly looked at the young man also curious of why he was alone at the training facility gates. Then he gazed at the small silver emblem on his chest.

"A six winged emblem? Mhhh...That is..." The captain slowly realized that it was the Royal Emblem and only one can wear that emblem. He looked at the face of the young man and confirmed.

"Greeting your highness, welcome to the training grounds." The captain then kneeled bowing his head seriously. and as he looked back Damian was was still standing and has a confused state while looking at the young man.

"You dimwit. Kneel before his majesty our King Urza" He smacked again Damian and dragged him then forced him to kneel beside him.

"My apologies sire, this young trainees are new and tired to realized it was your highness." He kneeled again and look at Damian with demon eyes, as he tried to send a gestured message to him hoping for Damian to realize then suddenly Damian realized and his knees went limp trembling.

"Maa.ma..my Apoo..Loogies sire." Damian was trembling as he apologized.

"Stand and be at ease. I am just looking around, please guide me towards the training facility Captain Oldrick." Zion read the name in his badge while being amused at their reaction.

They toured the new facilities, that cater training and rigorous tests like a facility with gravity controlled environment, it trains the physical body in tremendous force as the gravity inside could be adjusted.

Facilities with fighting Drones, Equipment familiarization, and some already fitting their own suit for combat. When Zion was satisfied looking around he bid goodbye to the captain and Damian then flew out of the area.

They look at Zion with respect and honor as he flew towards Atlantis.

"Damn you, you almost got us in trouble, I am glad that I could recognize him." Damian was smacked again in the head but Damian accepted the reprimand as he was at fault.

"But Thanks to you I have the opportunity to see the King in person and at close distance, even having a picture of him. AHAHAHAHAHA...My colleague would be so jealous of this. AHAHAHAHA" The Captain and Damian was laughing out of their characters while some who saw them moved away treating them as crazy persons.

Atlantis

"Sire the new reactor design is complete and ready to be tested." One of the team that are tasked to design the new power source of suits and machines base on Zion's instruction completed their assignment.

An inch diameter sphere mana crystal was floating in a claw like device. The claws beamed a laser into the floating crystal, it was the same procedure of making the fusion reactor but today was a bit different.

The Crystal then slowly vibrated and produced energy while the laser continued to bombard energy. Then the crystal then produced an aura then plasma alternatingly in a chaos, it danced around the crystal then ultimately calmed down creating a sun like object. that is as large as a fist.

"Mana Sun. Finally" The team inside the facility cheered as they were successful in mana producing sun. Though it was not yet perfect and stable, it still was a success.

"Alright, improve the process and make a design that could be used in all our suits and ships. Congratulations on this success, the merit points will be delivered as soon as this projects end." Zion then left the room smiling in joy.

Their current suits and vehicles including their tools and weapons are either powered by, electric, mana crystal and direct mana from users like the suits. That is why, Zion plan to put a power source in the vehicles, suits and weapons to improve their capabilities. It will also give drones and other autonomous prolong period of service without recharging energy. Even the Cybernetic Organisms like the QBUV and Nautilus would have no need of additional energy to function if they will have a source of energy within them.

But as he stepped out of the facility he again felt a familiar presence. "Old man." Zion then flew towards the direction and there he saw the mysterious old man sneaking at their mana capturing panels.

"Who are you." Zion shouted as he approached the old man, and it startled the old man but his reactions was calm.

"I am just a passerby, I apologize for disturbing the King." The old man said respectfully while he bowed.

"Fine, but this is your first and last warning. Anymore sneaky behavior like this would result to us evoking our rules and may have consequences." Zion warned with respect but the old man did not understood the warning and thought of it differently.

"Young man, you might be a king but you should respect you elders properly. I will do what I want and no one would stop me." The mysterious Oldman then left.
