To the mall

"Couldn't resist another late night visit could you ." you teased your younger cousin letting yourself in your room.

Every few days your lovely cousin perched at your window. You could never understand what she does with the keys you gave her to the front door.

" You know me too well. Besides I had a feeling you would be up for it ." she grinned her black eyes shining with mischief. .

Maybe the blood running through your veins was the reason behind the thrill seeking nature of yours but you could never be sure to that could you.

Sayuri's eyes glinted with excitement " any idea where are we headed to.?"

"If I did. It wouldn't be an adventure would it." you shrugged playfully.

As you walked you followed the short cut you usually take to school out of instinct. You were with subaru then but now you are with sayuri. Something felt off. It might just be the stench of alcohol or the improper touch you had earlier but you knew that was not it.

"It's weird. " she remarked. Her eyes narrowing as she pushed back her black hair with back of her hand.

You recounted the encounter with the old man. He was beyond drunk he had no phone no people were passing by. You had easily fended him off but now he was missing.

" You found traces of poison right "

You pointed to the ground where the faint marks were barely visible." Right here. But this is strange I was here what lets say half an hour ago. Someone cleaned it up. Almost. We must have interrupted their process. "

" So they will come back to finish it off. Let's wait for them right asuna." a shiver ran down her spine. She dealt with information. Dealing with this sort of thing was more of your job

" idiot girl. They won't come back "

" sayuri turned to you, a questioning look in her eyes. " what do you mean"

" If they are thorough enough to clean the scene so meticulously they are not the kind to walk right into a trap. " You explained to her lightly tapping her head " right now what we need to do is go home. I have seen enough dead bodies for today. "

Deep down you knew this was a beginning of a complex puzzle. You immediately changed the topic to something lighter hoping your cousin would catch up on it and she did. Giving you a smile you both started to talk about the past. Minding all the way till you felt you were no longer being watched.

" I heard all about today. The taxidermy. The poison. The flower" sayuri said each word with cared presicition." You did not find ichigo . "

You mask my pain behind a tight smile but eventually tears make their way. You hug her tightly.

"It's okay " she said softly " let it out "

You couldn't help it. The tears flowed freely as you leaned into her, finding solace in her presence. She held you close, a silent reassurance that you weren't alone in this.

"Leaving already " you wishpered sitting up.

" will you miss me " she said with teasing grin." I just have some information to collect " she said

" of course I will " liar. There is no information to be collected.

With a faint smile she got out of the window into the night. You could only hope for the best you knew her. What ever it is she was doing she would complete it for now you need to sleep

As you prepare to sleep your phone buzzes with an incoming call from an unknown number. You would usually ignore it but this time you picked it up.

"Hello" you venture cautiously, your voice betraying a hint of uncertainty.

"Asuna," a soft almost whisper like voice come from there other end. It takes you a moment to recognize takumi's voice.

"It's you. Takumi " you say yawning.

"I.....I just wanted to make sure you got home safely. I did not get to say goodbye. " the purple haired male said after a pause.

"Yes I reached safely" you replied stifling a yawn

"oh I did not mean to keep you awake or anything you can go to sleep if you want" he said clearly embarrassed to keep you awake.

" yeah I was just about to. Thank you "you chuckle softly.

"just turn off your light now and sleep" he says. An eeire yet strangely comforting voice.

Your heart skips a beat. How did he know your lights were still on. You threw your covers and went to inspect the outside. There was nothing out of the ordinary. The still silence and the moonlight reflecting upon mirrored glasses of nearby houses.

"Wait are you nearby" you ask him after thoroughly scanning the area twice.

A gasp was heard on the other side of the electronic device. The purple haired male started saying some incorrigible words before denying in panicky tone. You just chuckled at his response.

After a few more words you had to cut the call short as you were tired to be up anymore. Unbeknownst to you takumi lingered in shadows of the house. Watching as you drift into sleep peacefully. He wanted the distance to be decreased but you had somewhat of tight security which he did not know how to tackle.

Happily he walked home thinking you are safe and sound.

June 17th wednesday

As the morning peeks through your curtains you slowly wake up groggily rubbing your eyes. You reluctantly dragged yourself out of the bed. Just as you are pouring some cereals into the bowl someone bangs on your front door.

Frustrated you open the door to see the smiling blonde bouncing happily like a puppy.

"Hikaru" you call out. " I am not going to the caf-- "

Seemingly out of nowhere kazuto appears and pushing the blonde male to the side. His droopy eyes had hidden excitement. He was pushed back behind by the blonde who seemed to be most eager.

"rise and shine dove. Today we are going to break from the shackles of school " he said beaming

Before you knew his hand grabbed yours pushing you into the front seat of a eight seater car.

"Hikaru" takumi's meek voice called out. " this is not what we talked about yesterday "

The jovial male visibly gulped at the memory of yesterday's events which made you curious to what topic the two male talked about.

" no need to be so... " the purple haired male mumbled disappointedly. " what if you break her bones" he questioned.

"It's okay its okay. We have Subaru to fix it." Hikaru said pointing towards the white haired male who released a disappointed sigh.

With a warm smile Subaru nods at you a silent acknowledgement that he is part of whatever scheme Hikaru as concocted.

When everyone loaded in you noticed the red haired male who sat the very end of the car not meeting your gaze. Soon Yukio sat down besides you in the driving seat and started the car. You could only wonder why he was driving with his anger issues he could launch all of you down a cliff.

As if to answer the that he looked at you through the rear view mirror

"What I am one heck of a good driver and if we let these idiots drive we will sure end up in a ditch" Yukio said

"Where are we going " you asked curiously

"Where ever his blond assness wants. They ride me around like I am their damn driver. " Yukio growled. " Hikaru hands in. Kazuto seatbelt on. Takumi sit your arse down for god sakes "

You chuckled at the scene. Yukio was like the annoyed mom that works three jobs and has to manage her kids over working herself to death.

One would think he must be a rash driver. They think right. He raged his car around like a bulldozer you were happy this was the highway not anywhere else. One could only pray for who ever crosses him while he is driving.

"When are we reaching " you groaned after sometime. This ride seems to be going on forever.

"you will see" the brunette besides you said.

"I am asking because I can't see " you said trying to pry off hikaru's hands of your eyes.

"Hikaru keep your hands to yourself or I am throwing you out of the car " Yukio growled, purposefully taking a sharp right slamming the blonde into the window.

" such a meanie " Hikaru complained.

Soon after that they reached what it seemed like underground parking of a famous mall. Yukio who was reluctant to move shouted at the boys to get out of his car. After all of them had exited you slowly exited too. Going to the opposite side you knocked at his window.

Raising an eyebrow he opened it. Immediately in an instant, you opened the dragging the tsundere male by the collar you stole his key. Pocketing them in.

It seemed impossible to make her let go without hurting her. " how are you so strong damnit "

" I remember throwing you down couple of times and you still question my strength " you pridefully reminded him.

" and still he won last night " the red head rebuffed. You glared at him for interruption but an idea struck your mind.

Pouting wasn't something you could do. You would rather die of embarrassment. But there was one thing you could try. You looked up at him with saddening look in your eyes blinking several times to make it in effect. You could see changes in his expression making you know it was working.

"take off those damn eyes" he shouted. "ugh seriously stop"

After a couple of seconds he failed to be strong and finally succumbed to the famous puppy dog eyes . He grabbed your shoulders and pushed you forward in attempt get you to walk. Smiling to yourself you went ahead skipping.

" you tricked me " he shouted.

" what no. I did not " you said batting your eyelashes in innocence.

"looks like you have been coerced into a shopping spree with that eyes of hers" akira smirked. " you certainly are a dog lover. That is to say if that is the only thing you love "

The remark seemed to have hit a nerve Yukio bristled with frustration. A full blown argument was on the horizon which would surely turn into something physical in blink of an eye. But in nick of time Subaru swooped in his tone dripping with sauve diplomacy.

" Now now you both lets not turn this lovely day into a battle field " the white haired male said.

With an eye roll and a snarky remark held back you all trudged on but you could say it was far from over. You need to mentally reassign the family roles

" Why did we come here again" you asked tilting your head slightly.

" To enjoy this lovely day or so mr Subaru said " akira remarked " where are we off to first "

" To the video games of course" kazuto demanded. Pointing to the large assembly of games arranged in an ordered fashion.

Akira rolled his eyes. Being the most spoiled one of the group made just as much demanding. Usually things went his way that is until the other two kids decide to speak up.

"kazuto" Subaru warned.

"please " kazuto added to his sentence.

" No we are watching a movie " Hikaru beamed bouncing around. " then to the indoor amusement park."

" cosplay event please and the anime convection please " takumi pleaded.

So the children have spoke the other three male already knew who was accompanying whom. But the question was. With which one of the duo group would you go. They all looked up at her letting be her own decision.

" what don't look at me like that. I can't choose what to do with my life how am I supposed to do this " you argued.

" come on asuna you have to choose " Hikaru said already dragging you in the direction he wanted.

Why choose when you could choose them all.
