"Hey friend don't forget your mom had almost the same case as yours but they didn't stop her from loving you. It's more than 12 years now and yet you still find it hard to accept this girl from your heart. You know ? In actual sense you brought this to yourself and you are now blaming the innocent girl. She wasn't there when you started meeting David. You should be grateful to her, remember almost all you own was gotten because of her, you got aid from people for her sake. Come on don't do this to her, you know she loves you and deserves your love too, imagine growing up without motherly love when she actually has a mother. Sending her away won't heal you. And anyone who truly loves you and wanna have you as a wife would accept you n ur child."

I was already in tears, how I wished I could change the way she felt about me. The ice block I dropped into the fruit juice for miss Mara was already melting I had to get another glass of the juice the went to offer it to her.

"Thanks sweetie, what kept you so long?" Miss Mara asked as I offered her the glass of cherry juice.

"Ummm....., I brought it earlier but stopped to listen to your conversations" I replied innocently now looking at your mom

"How dare you bitch?"😠 Mom yelled at me

"Calm down Susan she is no bitch"

"What ever you wish to call me mom, you are free as you've always been, but your words not actions can't make me hate you, I used to think you liked your loneliness, but just realized today that I've been the reason why you you are always uncomfortable in your house. I'm very sorry mom,but if you give the chance of just a week to always be around you, I promise you will enjoy having me as a daughter, I will make you happy and you will definitely get to love me". I was already in tears again, miss Mara was sober too, mom had her head bowed throughout the little speech, I thought my words had hit her heart.

"Lily can you just shut up and leave my sight this moment, I don't wanna see you"

"I can wear a mask mom, so that at least my looks don't remind you of my father" I knelt beside her.

"Susan! Be considerate for once" That was Miss Mara

"You know what? Lily go gat your things ready, your new parents will be here tomorrow to take you." She stood and was heading towards her room room.

I cried uncontrollably as miss Mara tried consoling me.

"I love you Mom please don't send me away."
