After talking a bit more, Kurayami left Azazel to his work as it would take some time to get all the materials that Azazel wanted. Another thing was that he did not have any other job to do and was now free after talking to two of his friends.
As he walked he felt his heart begin to pulse as it worked hard to make him as strong as possible. He was wondering what Ophis' and Great Red's Dragon Cores looked like and speaking of them he could feel something interesting.
He gazed at the pulsating Black and Red void in his chest and focused on that perk besides a gigantic mana pool, mana regeneration, and the lack of a fatal point on his heart.
Just by focusing on the Infinite and the Dream he could see where Great Red and Ophis were with their consent. Of course, they could see him in reverse which he did not mind as it was fair. He focused on Great Red and like normal the big guy was always managing the dimensional gap and from time to time doing massive loops like a biker.
It was a kind of interesting hobby for the Dragon of Dragon, but he also saw that he had set up a large barrier all around the Dimensional gap to isolate this world from foreign threats. Kurayami knew it was pointless as he had made it here even with that barrier.
He felt it was a shame for such a powerful creature he was just a fish in a small pool. Great Red was no big deal in the reaches of existence, but the dragon had the potential to be so much more.
'Rebellion, Great Red is quite sad don't you think? He thinks he has sealed this world, but in reality, the beings with real power just don't care about it.'
She nodded as she spoke to him telepathically.
'Very, you and I know all about how you made it to this world or the fact that the Goddes is just one of many beings that can destroy his barrier like glass. Still, for beings on his level, he is doing a good job.'
'Agreed, he has worked this long, but I am not about to go raising death flags as I got a feeling those are an aspect of existence.'
"MASTER, are you already learning laws of existence?"
He scoffed and shook his head.
"Nope, not at all. I made a dedicated guess, right Shin. Raising death flags makes them come true and I am not about to raise one."
Shin nodded and was now as big as a Grizzly bear which was good as the dog did not seem to grow in size the stronger he got. Being too big would not always be a good thing as Shin fought with a sword in his mouth.
"Well, I think I might need to talk to Vali soon. He seems to be a little colder and I see he is planning on joining the Kaos Brigade all so he can find a way to kill Rizevim. I can't allow him to do that just yet, not only is Rizevim strong, his soul has value to me."
Rebellion hearing him speak about souls asked an interesting question he had thought of in the past.
"Have you thought of eating souls?"
He nodded and explained why he did not do that.
"I could, but what comes after. I do not know what effect they will have on me, but If they can give me power, I would eat souls like you and Atakan the crazy Blacknightmare. If there is some issue with eating souls I would be crazy to try it on myself."
She shrugged as she was a weapon spirit she suffered no drawbacks from eating souls. If anything she was made to eat souls, but she did not want to risk her master's well-being.
"Forget it Rebellion, I am taking us home. Mom and the girls seem to be in my room with Kuroka. Pregnancy reveals time I guess."
He teleported the three of them back to his room. Most powerful beings have a unique magic circle and he was no exception. Before it looked like a Shin with a sword in his mouth, but the new one looked like a dragon crest with two swords in front of the heart.
The girls and his mom all looked at where he appeared. His mother walked up to him and he opened his arms wide for a hug. She did not hug him instead she looked up and frowned. He felt he did something wrong so he got quiet.
"Mom, did I do something?"
She smiled and nodded.
"Very bad. Do you know what it is?"
He looked at the girls behind her while they all looked away struggling not to laugh.
"No."
She looked up with tears of joy on her face and a happy smile on her face.
"You kept the fact I will be a grandmother from me and everyone for 2 months. I am so happy for you and Kuroka."
This time she did hug him and he hugged his mother back. Just looking at her it was clear just how happy she was with the idea she would be a grandmother. She needed to tell Baraqiel.
"When were you two planning on telling us?"
Kuroka answered for him as she was the one who wanted to keep it a surprise.
"I wanted to do it soon, like in just a few days. However, it was getting harder to hide my belly as I am pregnant with twins."
Kurayami sat next to Kuroka and he decided to explain where he was and why he rushed to leave.
"Well I learned quite a lot from my Divine Spark awakening, it seems that a Divine Spark is unique among every single being. In my experience, the method to awaken mine was as less than pretty, so I will keep that secret."
Raynare pocked him in the ribs and guessed with pinpoint accuracy.
"You ripped out your own heart did you not? I saw how you looked at Sakuna in that anime we watched and how cool you thought it was. I bet you used your heart as raw material while it turned into something cool."
It got so quiet you could hear the sound of the wind even though there was no wind in the room. He glanced at Raynare and nodded.
"Well, mine needed me to do that. My heart is now my Dragon Core, and as such, it is quite cool. Look."
He motioned to his chest where the part over his heart and skin became see-through and they could see the Black and Red void in his chest. Shuri walked up to him and poked him on the see-through skin which was still there.
Seeing in his chest cavity and seeing that void thing was creepy. She did not know he could turn see-through, which was the result of Ophis.
"Normally I would get mad, but a Divine Spark cannot be normal. Still, did it hurt?"
"Not at all, I can just turn off feelings of pain with great control of my own body is. Mom, now that you know it is time to tell everyone. Kuroka, that fine with you?"
Kuroka rubbed her belly with a big smile on her face.
"We waited 2 months and now I am about to enter 3 months, I won't be able to hide it much longer anyway. They are growing nice and big already like their dad."
He smiled at the thought of his daughters being born already. While he was imagining holding them Shuri was the first up as she walked to the door.
"You all get ready, I will make the best feast I have ever cooked. Everyone needs to know, will Ares, Azrael, and Azazel by stopping by?"
He did not know as they all were busy with their own issues.
"Ares and Azazel know as I told them, but Azazel is busy with a crazy idea we thought of. No spoilers for it though."
Esdeath was now interested in what the crazy researcher was up to.
"Whatever it is I think it will be quite interesting. Now, let's talk about the Divine Spark. You know how me and Raynare are on the border of turning into super fallen angels, but what comes after How do you think we can get our own Divine Sparks?"
Raynare, Akeno, Natsume, Lavinia, Kuroka, Rosseissa, and Artemis all got quiet as they looked at him. Scathach was not here as she had gone to Grigori, but now it was time to tell them the truth about sacred gears. He snapped his fingers and set up a giant barrier with his void power.
"Well, I learned something dangerous while I was in the middle of my awakening. first I should tell you what a Divine Spark is in the first place. A Divine Spark is a result of a drive, idea, will, or just overwhelming power, or affinity. For me, that was the aspect of the Void and the trigger was Ophis Infinite, but I turned her power into something different."
Raynare and Esdeath were the ones who wanted to learn how to gain their own Divine Sparks as they did not want to be left behind. Esdeath still had to deal with the Demon in her as it seemed to be clawing to stay alive. She was close, but close was not perfect.
As for Raynare, she did not have that issue, but her problem was more the result of the difficulty of Death magic. Kurayami just had a thought if the Goddes was keeping other gods of Death from rising, but she did not seem the type to do that.
He continued to explain a theory he had developed while going through it to the girls. Artemis while she was already a God it was interesting to think about. He explained a possible way to them.
"As for you girls, if you want to gain one, master your sacred gears if you have one, or your respective power to the limit. Then break that limit, but there is just no way forcing them to grow."
Now came the real message, he decided to tell the girls with sacred gears that their most trusted weapons were in reality traps. He did not know what the wills were doing, but he had a theory.
'What if in time after many of the conscious of the past wielders were trapped inside why could the will not simply devour them to gain strength and take over the host.'
It was a quite scary thought that God might actually be waiting to return. However, thinking of the sacred gears which were his creations his thought went to himself as he was the son of Baraqiel who was made directly by God.
'Wait, God created all angels and fallen so does that mean he had a will inside them from the start.'
He removed his glasses and the girls who looked into them felt that the Infinite signs in his eyes led deep into Infinite Void that if they looked for too long they would be devoured by his Divinity of the Void.
It was terrifying so they all looked away but he scanned through all of them and moved his vision to Grigori. As he scanned through Raynare, Esdeath, his father, Azrael, and Azazel, and every fallen angel in Grigori. What he found was interesting was that the second generation and bellow did not have such a will, but Azrael, Azazel, his father, and the ones personally made by God did.
Most of the normal fallen were just a small speck with no downside to it, but Azrael's was as big as the one he fought which meant God had never trusted Azrael 100%, but the fact that he was going insane made him an easy target that resulted in Azrael killing him.
Killing God had damaged the will inside of Azrael so it had taken root inside of his Divine Spark to stay alive which was a bad move on its part. He now knew why Azrael never managed to make it grow or become a god was for two reasons.
The reason he struggled so much when he used his Death form was opposing elements of Death and Holy. Something that Azrael had told him was that when he was in Heaven is that he had never had white wings as they were always black.
As such he was not a true holy being as he could never use normal light, which meant the holy aspect of God countered Azrael's Death aspect. That meant no matter how much Azrael kept training unless he took care of the will he forever be stuck where he was.
Once he knew what he had to do Kurayami stood up and told them the truth while putting his glasses back on. Of course, he prepared for the repercussions, but in reality, he was confident in getting it done easily.
"I learned something about sacred gears. In reality, they are a failsafe of God to ensure his revival in case of his death. While they give power, they are meant to trap your consciousness inside to feed the will."
The moment he said that the will's of God inside of Esdeath's, Raynare's, Akeno's, Natsume's and Lavinia's sacred gears awoke and prepared to devour all of the consciousness they had saved up to fight for control over their hosts.
Kurayami grinned with a feral snarl on his face. He was prepared for this and he got ready to stop the self-destruct arrays placed in the sacred gears.
"Not on my watch."
He changed his plans last minute and he teleported everyone with him to the Dimensional gap on top of Great Red who was surprised that he had done that. Kurayami looked at Great Red to ask him.
"I will owe you a favor if you let me do it here."
Great Red did not even answer, but Kurayami could feel that he did not care. Focused on the girls with sacred gears and spoke to them through his telepathy. As for the one without sacred gears they watched with him in interest.
'That is the will of God fighting for control of your body, defeat it and devour it. You will have a chance of gaining a Divine Spark if you do. Once you do this, your sacred gear will be truly yours and not a borrowed power. I will help force it out, but you need to beat it yourselves."
He sat down on the hard scales of Great Red while Shin planed his head on his lap and Rebellion sat on his other thigh. Artemis looked at him while strands of the void emerged from his chest and entered the sacred gears of the girls.
The strand wrapped around the wills and ripped it out of the girls much to the anger of the wills. He separated each girl with the will that was inside of their sacred gears. Kuroka who was watching felt the drive to get stronger again.
Artemis looked at him with a pondering expression.
"How confident are you in them?"
Kurayami looked at the girls and answered.
"They will all pass without my help."
Kuroka who was hiding behind him in case any stray attack came near them spoke up.
"How can you be sure?"
"Because they are all strong and they have me as their helper in this. I will have to do this to all sacred gear holders in Grigori and from Azazel, Dad, Azrael, and even the normal fallen too."
He was quite pleased with this as Azazel already had the will of God inside of him that he wanted. Plus he had plenty of mini-wills inside all of the fallen angels of Grigori. For now, he had to oversee the girl's trials as he was calling them.
