The light within you

Conrad prepared himself and barged back into the the room.

The girl is still strapped to the bed, but she's now conscious. He learned her name is Courtney.

"Hey Courtney, can you hear me?" Conrad scoots closer.

Courtney flashed her black teeth at them and cackled hysterically,

"What do you take me for? little peasant! The girl is gone!"

"She's still in there, i can feel her, faintly!" Marina sighed, "we have to save this one Conrad! I think i can send you into her head, defeat the darkness and save the girl!"

"You can do that? That is good! We should definitely do it!" He nodded his consent.

"Alright then!" Marina drew a deep breath, "Let's do this!"

Marina started chanting the spell, she asked Conrad to hold Courtney's hand. As soon their bodies touched, everything around him became dark and he was zapped into Courtney's mind place.

A blare of light slapped his face, he blinked, adjusting his vision.
