Drifting away

Brian and Blair are in the woods. She is helping him connect back to himself. They are on the ground, seated in a mantra pose. Eyes closed.

Each time they inhaled, the redolent scent of flowers and the woodsy fragrance of the grasses and trees refreshes their mind.

Birdsong comes in lulls and bursts, the sound of the ocean waves churning and crashing - as well as any improvised melody.

They'd finish and are back on their feet.

The massive pine trees that surround the woods are several buildings tall. Blair looked up at the sky, black tumbling further down her back.

Brian watched her as the sun shines on her face. Her skin glimmers like glitter.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Brian staring. She faces him,

"Oy, oy, young man. Careful …not all that glitters is gold!"

Brian chuckled, approaching her, "you are right. You are not gold."
