A proper goodbye

When Blair came to oak city for revenge, never has it cross her mind that it will result to this heart wrenching romance. Is what she feel even real? Why did she say what she said? These thoughts kept her mind racing to and fro like a pendulum.

The only time she'd seen his room was when she tried stealing the dagger, she cannot believe she's here, sharing the same bed space and naked - wrapped in Damien's strong arms.

His chest is against her back, she could feel the galloping thud of his heartbeats - that alone floods her stomach with butterflies.

"Are you going to remain stiff or fall asleep?" Damien whispered in a sleepy voice.

Engrossed deep in her thoughts, Blair kept silent - subconsciously ignoring his comment.

Damien realized Blair was too consumed in her thoughts and had to plant a soft kiss on her nape to draw her attention. The electrical chills of his touch as it sharply run down her spine drew her focus back to the present.
