Chapter 3

The chains attached to Mae started swinging and swaying back-and-forth. And the shackle fell off.

The chains shot up to Marcel wrapping around his left arm and ripping it clean of the shoulders. Then not finished; it wrapped around his had and neck wrapping around it and ripping it off too. Then once everything was done it dropped listlessly on the ground. And Mae falls fainting of exhaustion.

*" Captain we need to go now!" Mae says urgently panicking lacing her voice. As she says that another cannonball hits the ground near them making dirt fly. It was a fight they would never win.

The 'Captain' was a young girl who still had her life ahead of her. Even though she was young didn't mean she wasn't worthy of being a captain she was a powerful amazing girl that's power could surpass a fleet of a hundred soldiers.

She grabbed the captain and held her bridal style and ran as fast as she could and dodging cannons, soldiers, and bullets. Half of the crew was dead and their captain who was named Celeste was in shock having to watch her crew die in front of her the location of the rest of the crew was unknown and Celeste and Mae had no idea if they might survive this. Mae was the master gunner on the ship and they had all had a tight-nit relationship with each other being almost closer than family.

"Celeste! Mae! Move" Shouts a male fearful voice that belonged to there swordsman, Kai.

Kai and Mae were closer than the rest of the crew they were lovers.

Mae took notice to the giant flaming cannon sailing right towards them. Not having much time to move Mae chucks Celeste and puts a hand out in hopes that her powers could stop the cannon before being burnt to death or smashed. The fire went out and she remembers that Kai is pretty much omnipotent. And uses telekinesis to stop the cannon. But as he did crimson red starts staining his shit and he falls as he does he mouths 'I love you, good bye my love' and tosses the cannon. She relizes her lover has died. And she could have prevented it.
