Chapter 7: The Gathering

The 4 beings who approached now stood with Mia in the square. Mia quickly glanced at the two she didn't recognize, then she turned to Fairy King Xaï and General Daïcho. "What is wrong with you?! Why were you flying at us so fast and who did you bring here?!" She looked Nigato up and down, then she turned to Ash. "And who are you? How were you running so fast and why did you come here?"

Ash was already back in human form before she got to the square. "I didn't know there was a speed limit on running," she snapped, "it was an emergency so I came as fast as I could." General Daïcho chimed in, "As for us it was a race, who got here first?" Mia snapped, "A race? You flew that fast for a race?!" The three nodded. "Ugh, boys. Well Xaï was first of course can beat Fairy King's speed, but close behind him was newbie over here." She pointed at Nigato giving him a weird look. "So who is this newbie, that is faster than the great General and as fast as the Fairy King?" Mia asked skeptically. Xaï stepped towards her, "Mia I told you just to call me Xaï and this here is Nigato, as you can see he's an elf. He just got his class and is now on a journey so we are accompanying him."

Mia pointed over her shoulder, "So who's this?" Daïcho and Nigato who were arguing about who won stopped for a second and shrugged. Nigato used one of his new techniques to teleport behind Ash. "So who are you Miss?" Ash quickly pulled out her hidden dagger on Nigato. "Don't get any closer to me you dirty elf. Your kind killed him and poisoned me, I don't trust you." Xaï stepped towards them and 'scanned' Ash. "What a predicament. She is poisoned and quite badly at that. If I don't treat her right now she'll die." Mia turned towards Ash, "Don't do anything for her till we get some answers."

Ash snapped back, "The name's Ash, I'm a werewolf, I got here fast by transforming, an elf attack my general and killed him, so I killed the elf but he had poisoned me and this was the closest city." Xaï started healing her, "That's good enough for us reserve your energy. Now, Nigato if you could teleport why didn't you teleport here in the first place?" Nigato, who had started fighting with Daïcho again, turned towards Xaï, "I can only teleport places I can see or places I've been to." Mia was now interested in Nigato's class and asked for an explaination.
