Chapter 5 | Valentine |

After watching the movie Janel still got sad and she said to herself that these movies are not related to what is happening in her life right now as she picks another disc from the shopping bag the title is Valentino, Janel read the synopsis at the back and she found it very interesting.

*VALENTINO*

It was the morning after Judith Albert had a good night's rest. A great one. Judith's roommates are having conversations about how the day is going to be.

Her roommates were saying they're going shopping to get gifts for their loved ones especially their boyfriend. Judith felt lonely without joining the conversation between Lian and Janet. 

"Good morning girlfriends" Judith greets Lian and Janet.

Lian and Janet replied to her and said morning Judith how was your night?  Janet replied" it was good, I mean perfect 👌then #smiles" 

can I join you guys for shopping, please? Judith asked. Lian then ask Judith, did you have a boyfriend?  Judith couldn't reply because she doesn't have any love partners. "Judith doesn't worry, you can hang out with us this night is going to be fun trust me," Janet said.

Valentino Cruz still snoring on the bed his friend Carlos took his phone snapping him and laughing Valentino open his eyes and throw pillows at Carlos he got up wash his face and said it a brand new lovers day Mmmmmm. 

Carlos showed up and said 

"I will be hanging out with my babe this night, she will soon be here" Carlos has not finished his dialogue someone rings the visitor bell Carlos shout wow she is here he rushed to open the door for her. 

Carlos's girlfriend was such a beautiful hot sexy lady Diane,  Carlos asks Diane to get him wine from the bar she replied and said wow babe it's too early please, Carlos, got mad, and slapped her.

Diane got pissed, pick up her handbag, and left. Valentino said wow let her go you gonna meet different sexy hot ladies tonight trust me,  Carlos regret his action and picks up his cell phone and call Diane, she did not pick up Valentino got red wine and a glass cup for both of them he told his friend to drink away his sorrow.

Valentino never got drunk no matter how hard he drinks.

When it's 8 pm Judith, Lian and Janet were well dressed prepared for a night club. Lian and Janet's boyfriend came to pick them up.

As they got to the club Lian and Janet were dancing Judith sat at the bar observing, looking at those dancing.

Valentino drives in with Carlos, Carlos was drunk. Lian leaves the dancing floor and makes use of the restroom. She enters the female restroom, not up to three minutes, she shouted 

"No ooooo" but nobody heard her. 

Judith was looking at the way Janet was dancing with her guy, a guy dancing behind Janet hit her ass she looked at him and laughed, her boyfriend got mad at Janet and leave the dancing floor.

Valentino saw what happened while moving close to Judith he took the wine glass in front of Judith and drank it, Judith looked at him and asked 

"Who are you?"  

"If that lady on the dancing floor asked this kind of question she won't be having any 

problem with her guy by now, anyway my name is Valentino."

Judith sight a blood stain on Valentino's left hand and she asked maybe he killed someone?  

Valentino was so shocked and asked. Why?  

"That is a blood stain on your hand," Judith replied to him.

Valentino robbed it on his trouser and said 

"I fought with someone not quite long"

 Judith asked why? 

Valentino put on a pitiful expression on his face and said I caught him with my babe thou both of them are still together I'm heartbroken, even afraid to approach another lady now because I'm hurt badly.

Judith felt sorry for him and said not all ladies are bad and heartless,  Valentino moved close to her and asked 

"Are you serious?" trying to kiss her. 

Janet calls Judith's name and asked who is this guy?  

"His name is Valentino, my friend," Judith said to Janet.

Valentino look at Judith and said, friend? 

"Yes, friends." Judith look straight into Valentino's eyes as she replies 

Valentino smiles and asked maybe he can have her digits? Valentino and Judith exchange numbers and he left.

Janet moves closer to Judith and Judith asked what happened between her and her guy? Janet asked Judith to forget about that, and tell her about the new guy, I mean your friend.

Judith smiles and says he's just a friend 

"Oooh I can read that look on your face

you falling already wow my friend is in love!" Janet shouted with a happy expression on her face.

While having this chat Lian's boyfriend rushed to where Judith and Janet are, he was shouting. All the people dancing stop their dance and started looking at him, he said someone has murdered his girlfriend inside the restroom.

Everybody rush to the restroom to check what happened, they all saw Lian and one other lady laying dead on the floor. The club manager invite cops over for investigation, one of the officers requested CCTV camera footage of that night.

While watching it the light around the female restroom went off for like 15minutes and later switch on, it was a guy holding a wine bottle looking drunk was coming out from the restroom trying to zip up his trousers.

      The officer asked the manager why the light went off? the manager said, 

"The bulb blew off and it took a while before fixing it back because no extra bulb at that moment".

Officer demand the damaged bulb, the manager gave it to him, he checks and confirms that it was damaged indeed. Officer said we need to get that young man!.

Janet and Judith were mourning the loss of their friend Lian. Officer knocked at their door Judith open the door then the officer greets her and said they found a suspect for their friend's death.

 The officer phone rang he picked it up it was a call from the manager he said someone came here requesting the footage he introduced himself as an architect, the officer said he should show him the CCTV footage so he can draw out the suspect then hang up the officer left after explaining things to Judith and her friend.

After 20minutes Valentino's phone rang he picked up and asked who is this? 

 "It me Judith"

"I'm sorry, wow! why did you call?" Valentino asked smiling.

"One of my friends was murdered in the club last night."

Valentino got shocked and end the call, Judith call back he picked, Judith asked why he ends the call? "I mistakenly hang up and by the way, who killed that your friend ?"  Judith replied she doesn't know and besides the corps already got a clue of the killer.

Valentino says please I have to drop this call I will call back, he dropped the call, went inside, and pack all his stuff while packing his belongings, the visitor bell rang Valentino walked to the door and beeped through it to see who is outside.

When he discovered that it was a police officer he quickly brings out his phone pressing and laughing then open the door for them.

Their exchange greetings and he asked 

"How may I help you?"

 The officer asked how many of you live here?  he says two, the Officer bring out the portrait of his friend Carlos and asked who is this guy? "

Valentino was shocked but stylishly composed himself then answer the question 

"His friend"

"Where is he?" The officer asked

"He has not returned home since Val night I tried calling him but he's not picking up, thou am not bothered because this is not his first of leaving the house for many days, and wouldn't show up, but why are you searching for him and why did you have his portrait?"  

"He's a suspect in killing two ladies on Valentine's day."

"Ooh no officer, my friend can't do that shit!"

"Where were you that night?"

"We went to the club together but I left as soon as I saw a new chick because I don't have any girlfriend" 

"Did your friend has a girlfriend?" 

"Yes he does, but they fought and broke up on that day" 

"Please call us as soon as you see your friend," The officer said and left. 

Valentino call Judith back and asked for her home address.
