Chapter 1

I grew up in Lagos with my parents. We lived at isaleko (the ghetto street) , I was used to hard life and working hard. My mother was a caterer while my father was a full time Marine worker. I got so attached to cooking since the first day I perceived the aroma of ofensala (White soup) it got me salivating and craving for it. so here is where my cooking life started.

My family and I moved to Akwa ibom for a 3 month holiday but later ended up spending 20 years and still expecting more. My father had to resign from his job due to the distance and the change of location, but my mum still struggled to gather some cash to resume her cooking business for another 1½years until she took in(got pregnant) , I had to continue from the few I learnt from her which were just Rice, Afang soup, Beans, and stew. e.t.c

I used these four foods to learn over 50 kinds of foods....
