I gestured to the hard drive and told the Russian General. "That's all we've obtained so far and or have spent millions and billions researching. The secret projects on there still in progress are still costing us said millions and billions to get up and running so you and your government can catch up quickly and start your own or wait until we get it right and get the plans to make your own stuff afterwards. The choice is yours really."

He grunted and said he had to make a phone call. I took out a cellphone and passed it to him. "If it's to your president this phone is secure, encrypted and has full coverage even long distance and I'm talking end of the solar system long. One of the few benefits to having a satellite network owning company with defense satellites that far out. Sadly that's all it can do."

He grunted and took it before borrowing Hammond's office. I told General Hammond I'd have to set aside money for the satellite project so it's likely the SGC wouldn't be getting any donated stuff for a while minus healing pills of course especially with having to outfit a Jaffa army recently. I grunted. "Billionaire I may be, but this much charity is going to bankrupt me."

He agreed that it was fine, particularly if the shield can let our ships come and go. I told him going wasn't a problem, but the coming in was going to take some trial and error testing before the satellite shields were upgraded to that point. I got to work when Chekov said his president had agreed to the terms for the satellite network so long as Russian and American scientists worked on it together with me. I grunted and told him to have them sent to Armor tech because I work alone so I'd only fine tune the satellites once they were ready.

Weeks later the Tollans asked us to attend Omac's funeral. The Curia and I spoke telepathically in the hopes to save her people and ours. I gave her all the knowledge she needed to have the Ion cannons upgraded and defenseive shields capable of staving off the goa'uld put in place. I warned her telepathically that the devices she had made won't work against earth as it is now with the gate's shields.

When we returned, I told the team everything after Sam played Narim's device warning. General Hammond asked if it was true and I grunted. "It sure as hell will be by tomorrow that's for sure."

He nodded serious and I worked around the clock with Sam and all the scientists I could name to get the shields fully upgraded to Asgard specs at least. It was certainly enough to stop the devices the Tollans made and so much more. Still, it would be a serious power drain if used continuously and there was little we could do about that for now. I went with the team for the formal greeting of the Curia and helped the Tollans quickly while cloaking them and myself.

Soon their automated weapons were fully upgraded along with their sensors so they were capable of detecting and destroying cloaked ships as well. Still, I worked on the shield generators fast while Jack and the others played their parts. Once the satellite weapons and shields were finished, I moved to capture Tanith and take out the complications on the ground. I walked in on the Curia woman and Tanith with her guards around Narim, Daniel and Sam.

I nodded to her. "It is done."

She and her guards pointed the weapons at Tanith and I threw my sword, piercing his hand and shoulder, destroying his hand device. He fell as they stunned him and I told them. "The satellites are entering orbit as we speak and the cannons are fully upgraded to Asgard specs. Whatever shields this new ship has won't be able to outlast the world shields once they're in place and the cannons can bring them down with enough time. Your world is safe, so might I suggest you turn those bombs you've made into goa'uld tech seeking space mines?"

She nodded and seemed extremely relieved. She apologized to Narim, telling him Omac agreed to his death to get us here and seek my help in hopefully upgrading Tollana's defenses and stopping this madness. She told him that Omac killed himself when none of them could think of a better solution than his own because the goa'uld have them under constant surveillance. There was rapid booms that followed her words and we went outside to see the satellite shield holding back the goa'uld ship while the ion cannons constantly bombarded the ship.

The cannons and satellite weapons destroyed the ship in the end and Tollana was safe once more. I left Tanith to Teal'c and Teal'c beat him half to death before breaking his neck. He cut off Tanith's head to make sure the symbiote was dead before the female Curia member said that it was perhaps the Tollan who were too primitive after all. I shook my head, suggesting how they should protect their planet including adding a shield to their stargate.

I told her they weren't primitive or young, but perhaps naive in thinking the goa'uld would just leave them alone. I told her that her people could maintain their principles so long as they take the goa'uld as a serious threat because one day they're going to steal technology more advanced than those shields and defenses and when they do, there won't be a quick and easy fix to help them again. I turned to Narim and told him. "I'm sorry about Omac. I liked him best of the Tollans. He was honest even when it came out rude and he stood by his decisions. Stubborn, but a good man nonetheless."

The female Curia member said he was at that and if it wasn't for his sacrifice Tollana would've fallen. She gave Narim a hologram message saying he'd asked her to pass it to him in the event that they succeeded or failed so he knew the truth. Narim watched it and Omac told him everything down to him wiping the recordings of the meeting and deciding to take the fall for Tollana and their people. We left and Jack asked if that shield was what ours would look like.

I shrugged saying it would hopefully be more advanced, but in essence it would be exactly like that though without weapons. Almost a month later some dumbasses tried to abduct me only to die very violently. I arrived at the SGC covered in blood and told General Hammond what happened and that Adrian Conrad was behind it after abducting the Jaffa prisoner the Russians managed to capture during transport to the SGC carrier to get him here. I told him that Conrad wants the power I got from my genetic mutation and thinks splicing his DNA with my own and putting a goa'uld in his head will give him my abilities.

General Hammond asked wearily. "Will it?"

I shook my head. "Thor put a genetic lock on my DNA to prevent tampering by others like Loki of his own race. Even other Asgard can't mess with my DNA for crap like this and that's why I only made one clone of myself which is now with Selmak. At best Adrian Conrad may end up with a mutated tumor that gives him telekinetic abilities before his head explodes like those that tried to abduct me."

He nodded and told me to go get cleaned up and he'd make sure Conrad's found. I warned him that if anyone tries again they'd be lucky to die so quickly because I won't be a lab experiment. I left and washed up while the bodies of Conrad's men were taken care of by the Air Force. Jack, Daniel and the team went after Conrad while I stayed out of it.

Jack ended up shot while Conrad was in the wind and NID agent Simmons was in the mix. A month and a half later Teal'c and I were stuck in the stargate until the others saved us. Luckily the Russians played ball once they knew it was me in the gate and I was necessary for the satellite shield. In the end the Russian's DHD was destroyed while the one in Armor Tech was still in pieces itself while the technology and particularly the computerized core of it was being studied.

Ever since Jack had put in all the new gate addresses, Armor Tech had been looking into a way to signal all the gates in the network still active to cut down the lost of addresses and add to those in the cold dialing program so time wasn't wasted trying them outright. It led to many new discoveries about the gate system itself in the meantime. Speaking of meantimes, we were soon speaking with the Tok'ra who wanted Daniel to go kill all the system lords at once since their warring state had finally come to an end.

The free Jaffa had expanded exponentially during the warring time and no longer needed our help thanks to the knowledge I'd provided them. Still, Daniel had been chosen because the Tok'ra couldn't get close with the poison they intended to use and my face was both well known to the three female Goa'uld thanks to my time as Hathor's puppet. The Tok'ra assured me I was the most wanted human in all of the galaxy, more so than any Tok'ra after the mass extinction and rampage Hathor had made me do. Drugs are a hell of a thing and pheromones even more so.

Still, it had made me priority one for all goa'uld so much so that Selmak was confined to hiding his face with nano cloth to face change or remain at Tok'ra HQ. So Daniel was the best option and that left me with Sam, Jack and Teal'c sitting in the Tok'ra ground base waiting for news while the Tok'ra went about a tour for the new recruits. Sadly even with the advanced armor, weapons and medicine, SGC team members have the life expectancy of a spinal tap drummer.

Between accidents, attacks and hostile aliens, poisons and diseases, it wasn't healthy to be on an SG team. Still, when shit hit the fan here, I managed to make sure all the Tok'ra and SG teammates got out fairly fast. Zipacna, a goa'uld under Anubis, was sent to wipe out the Tok'ra with a mother ship and an army of tens of thousands of Jaffa. I told the SG team with us and the Tok'ra to leave through the gate before Jack asked me if I could do anything.

I turned back to him, Teal'c and Sam. "I can and I will. Go and contact the free Jaffa to take all of the unconscious Jaffa away once I'm done here. I can't allow so many lives to be wasted in the name of the goa'uld ever again."

Teal'c nodded and Sam looked at me worried but Jack told them to dial the gate because they were leaving. He knew whatever was about to happen, it might not end well for me. I headed to the cliff after knocking out the Jaffa and ships that were guarding the gate. They made it through with their stuff and when the gate shut off, I uncloaked and walked towards the Jaffa, speaking in goa'uld and telling them that I am Tok'ra and wish to speak with their leader.

I made my eyes glow and they searched me finding nothing. They brought me before Zipacna and I read Zipacna's mind before telling him that I was there to kill him. He didn't believe me, laughing and telling me I'd be brought before Anubis with all the information taken from my mind. I shook my head and knocked the Jaffa unconscious. He shot me and my armor absorbed the blast.

He grabbed a staff weapons and fired at my head while his own head and the goa'uld inside exploded. Time slowed as the staff blast near bed me and my perception sped up while I lived lifetimes in each millisecond. I let go of all my burdens and released my earthly desires, actively turning my body into pure energy as I simultaneously ascended and released a blast wave of energy that knocked out all Jaffa on the surface and in the ships above the planet. I ascended on my own power and the staffs blast passed through me.

I understood all I'd been holding in my mind and grasped how the others maintained control over those like Oma who ascended with help. It was sort of weakening and spreading that weakness to the other helped ascended while the others maintained their strength. I smiled and pulled in massive amounts of zero point energy from this universe into my ring. I waited for the SGC and the free Jaffa to arrive which didn't take long.

I was there and smiling sadly amongst the unconscious warriors. Jack asked what happened and I told him. "I ascended Jack, but before that I sent out a psychic blast wave that knocked out every living being in this solar system. Zipacna, the goa'uld leading all this, is dead. Daniel and Selmak are returning in the cargo ship and the Jaffa will be out for several days at least."

I turned to the free Jaffa. "The fleet of mother ships in orbit have tracking devices in them. You must remove them and disconnect the self destruct systems before taking them, but otherwise they're yours if you can take them before more arrive."

Rak'nor thanked me and I nodded. "Consider it my last gift to your people. Tell Bra'tac that my physical body is destroyed and I can no longer aid in the destruction of the goa'uld without being destroyed entirely now. I have ascended as it were."

His eyes went wide and clearly he knew what I meant because he nodded saying I would not be forgotten for this day. I smiled sadly before turning to Sam, Teal'c and Jack. "My body was destroyed in the blast I unleashed, broken down into base element and particles. I remember all of the ancient database now fully and my understanding only makes things feel more daunting when I know the others are watching my every move and action. Sadly they won't allow me to share this knowledge and would likely destroy you all and earth as punishment for breaking their laws."

Jack said I wasn't afraid of them before and I grimaced. "I'm not afraid of them Jack, I just know that even if I fight them, I cannot win alone. It's why they've been able to banish Orlin and the other individuals and why they leave Oma alone because she's gathered her own group while having a punishment of her own so as not to escape their laws."

I waved a hand. "I can give you the information, fight them and continue to do so while earth and everything we hold dear is destroyed by them in retribution, including all of you, but I won't make that decision unless you and earth have even a fighting chance."

The sky rumbled and I sighed. "It's time I go, but first-"

I turned to Sam. "I know Orlin wanted to share himself with you and you didn't want to, but do you-"

She nodded and I stepped closer as I glowed, sharing my being and emotions, the core of who I was without thought. I told her to relax her mind and feel. She did so and we felt each other in a way like never before. We stared at each other and I touched her face before smiling with her and fading. I disappeared, telling them it wasn't goodbye, just an until we meet again.

I met with Daniel as he entered the solar system with Selmak and told them what happened before telling them to land and help if they can. I suggested capsules and loading pallets for the people and stuff to move quickly through the gate. I told Daniel that all roads lead to the the great path, and many cross along the way so we'd see each other again, but until then, he had to be weary of Anubis if he could call up such an army at will. I met with the others in a dinner of sorts and even met Oma there with Anubis.

I lazed about and told Anubis that if he didn't shut his mouth, I'd shut it for him regardless of who interferes. He frowned when the others didn't move and I told him in no uncertain terms that I didn't need to kill him or even destroy him when I could turn him into a battery for my own power and treat him like a pet which would still be better than how he treats the Jaffa and others in the galaxy. He frowned. "So you know who I am?"

I glanced over my coffee cup. "I know more about you than you yourself do. In point of fact, I've seen your unending end of sorts. Personally I say you get off easy compared to most."

I soon left and headed to see earth. Weeks after my death a representative of Armor Tech came and helped install the satellite shield. In the meantime an asteroid problem was flung at earth and the sensors in the satellite system warned the SGC as soon as it was approaching the solar system. It showed the asteroids composition down to the core and the representative of Armor Tech suggested it be moved to orbit Pluto where it could be mined away from detection and provide earth with a huge supply of naquadah.

They had the ships and technology to do so and in fact did so. Still, they found out Anubis sent it in order to win some brownie points with the system lords after a massive failure with the Tok'ra which armed the free Jaffa with many warriors who knew the full truth of ascension and the goa'uld. Ten hatak ships plus alkesh and death gliders and an army of ten thousand added to an already couple thousand strong only made them more formidable especially with the fact that the hatak ships were upgraded by Anubis's "found" knowledge.

Meanwhile earth gained a huge resource and with altered goa'uld tech mining crystals, it was quickly reduced to bars of floating refined weapons grade naquadah that was sent back to earth in bulk. My replacement from Armor Tech, Gregory Gilbert, went out with SG-1 on missions in full armor from then on. I was happy to see the Jaffa quickly realized Imhotep wasn't one of them because they'd learned from the VR chairs and the warning I'd placed to always look to a Jaffa's stomach for the pouch because a goa'uld can brand their head as easily as any Jaffa to disguise themselves in war.

It had been under one of the many tactics I'd theorized the goa'uld would use. Bra'tac had made it a rule to spar without armor or shirts so you know you face a Jaffa and brother or sister to the cause. Imhotep had refused to do so when he went to show off and he was quickly treated with suspicion until he was found out and killed. His head was one of many goa'uld including Cronus and Zipacna that now decorate the throne room of the main mothership the free Jaffa army possesses.

The Jaffa have come far quickly and have adapted with honor and skill. They've infiltrated many goa'uld worlds and ranks and with the Tok'ra's help, they've undermined and freed many worlds in secret. In the meantime I spent my time on Atlantis, taking in all it's knowledge without spending the energy used on the shields. I headed to Destiny next using the naquadria enriched world and the gate address.

The others weren't around there so I repaired some of the ship, most in fact including the shuttles. I sat in the chair and took in all the knowledge Destiny had taken in itself before I headed to the seed ships. I learned all each of them had, understood all the galaxies and information from before and went back to earth in the end, knowing I had more to do. My knowledge and natural ascension gave me power rivaling the others and with a stop at Asura in the Pegasus galaxy and the replicators in the Ida galaxy, the vast amounts of knowledge and information I took in was more than any other ancient before me.

I was there when Daniel ascended because the radiation poisoning was so far beyond anything the meds we had could do. I appeared to the others in the operating room and told them Oma was helping Daniel ascend by showing him the way. Jack asked me to help him and I gave him a strained look before shaking my head. "Only if he refuses to ascend. If he does I won't care what the others do to me, I'll help."

They relaxed and Daniel made his choice. When he ascended, I left with him, sharing the basics of what I'd learned about this universe on my own. By the time he met the others, he knew all their laws and rules. He knew Oma was walking a fine line and it had something to do with Anubis.

He knew all about Atlantis, the tablet I'd studied and Destiny. We sat in the dinner and he asked me if he made the right choice because of his son. I shrugged. "We all have to make choices Daniel. Whether they're right or wrong shouldn't be up to others to decide, only our conscience. We shouldn't rely on others to stop us or tell us what we should or shouldn't do, we should do what we think is best and live with that decision."

I waved a hand. "Your son will be given the best life an orphan could have and he'd know his dad died trying to save an entire world. The rest is immaterial unless you go back."

He asked if I'd thought about it and I nodded. "More and more each second I'm here. Every part of me wants to return and continue the good fight because I know I can make a difference there while here, there's no point. We learn new things sure, but the knowledge is without use because the old grumpy asses won't let us interfere. Anything we learn here from now until the end of time is useless and wasted knowledge that helps no one."

I stood up and turned to Oma. "Take care of him. I'd be very cross if anything happens to him, with anyone that had a hand in it."

She nodded and I left, becoming a shooting star over earth as I headed to find Merlin. When I did find him, Ganos Lal or Morgan Le Fey, appeared and asked what I wanted with him. I shook my head as I passed the old man in the sleeping chamber. "Nothing. I've come to learn, nothing more."

She said the knowledge was forbidden by the others sand I snorted. "The others can blow me if they think they can limit what I learn. I've no ill will for him or you, but the knowledge is here and here is where I'll learn it."

I moved to the repository and she didn't stop me, only saying I was young. I chuckled saying I was older than I looked and more dangerous than she could imagine. I learned all Merlin knew including how he'd kept his ascended knowledge, powers and all that fun stuff. I learned of the weapons to kill ascended beings and while interesting, it was little more than that.

I turned and asked if she'd like to share knowledge with me and prove me wrong. She did so and found a hell of a lot more than she'd expected. From the repository to Atlantis, Destiny, the replicators and now Merlin's knowledge. There was so much that she was stunned even after I copied all she knew about everything.

I left and visited the sleeping wraith in the Pegasus galaxy, seeing all their memories and seeking out the eldest of them to find the truth. I saw the experiments and how the wraith came to be, leaving under the other's watchful gaze as I headed back to earth in time to see Freyr come through the gate and ask for their help. With a flash of light and a crack of lightning indoors, I materialized naked as all my knowledge was suppressed into my subconscious mind.

Many terminals and several repositories of knowledge were formed and filled with all the knowledge I'd gained…ever. Still, it left me with a dizzying headache and pain of having taken human form again. The grated floor around me had melted into slag and I lost the memories of what happened while I was ascended, leaving me with only the knowledge of dying and ascending at the last moment. I spent the next few weeks repeating the words 'I don't know' to the doctors while they were happy I was back.

Jonas Quinn soon bugged me to speak with Jack about him taking Daniel's place on the team. When Area 51 tried arming a Starhawk with a Naquadria generator for hyper drives, I instantly shut that shit down. I asked to see all the research and when I did, I told them it was suicidal to even attempt it because Naquadria got exponentially more unstable the more one tried to draw power from it to the point of incalculable devastation.

I used a single drop of it and blew up a sealed and locked abandoned nuclear bomb silo and several miles around it before the shields I'd put in place stopped it and drained half the stored up solar power cells Armor Tech had across the globe. The devastating test provided everything I needed to measure and stabilize it while proving my point to all those watching. Air and ground sludge scrubbers were deployed while the shield remained before the radiation was entirely removed.

Considering the Naquadria generator had half a pound of the stuff in it, the pulled it immediately and handed it over. On the bright side the power generation capabilities of the substance proved why the Asgard used it in their own newest ships with the neutrino ion generators. I told General Hammond that it was a start on calculating how to stabilize it, but I truly pitied the Langarans if they're playing bomb maker with it. Jonas paled and I continued working on it with Sam until someone dialed in the gate.

No one was sending anything through so I ran a detailed scan and found the anomaly fast. I frowned and told them someone was using Asgard or likely ancient technology to try and blow up the stargate. Sam asked if it could be stopped and I shook my head. "Not from our end. This device is feeding the gates themselves enough power to stay open regardless of time while trying to overload the gate's internal capacitors and cause a chain reaction that would result in Colorado becoming a crater and the fallout wiping out all life on earth."

I got up and moved to the gate room before touching the gate. I pulled back and tried again before shaking my head and telling them I can't stop it with my abilities either. Rodney McKay came to the rescue and when he suggested we fire an EMP at it, I shot him down. General Hammond asked for a better idea or they'd go with Rodney's so I told him. "We hook it to a Starhawk, fly it three million miles or more out remotely and watch it blow up. Screw risking our lives and the planet on a maybe. Even if the Russians don't want to share their stargate for money, Armor Tech can just build a new one."

McKay actually dropped his notepad and asked seriously. "You can do that? Just build a highly advanced wormhole stabilizing device?"

I gave him a droll stare before turning to General Hammond. "The DHD console has all the protocols and subroutines in it and I was informed of several things discovered about the gate system the day I got back. Gregory was very exited to tell me all I'd missed regarding breakthroughs in DHD and Stargate technology. Making our own stargate with more secure and stable materials will prevent an overload like now for instance."

General Hammond agreed and Rodney argued that no earth materials could possibly be as good as the naquadah gate we have now. I sighed and patted his shoulder. "We have access to a hell of a lot more materials than what's native to earth. Like the Tollans, we're capable of making a stargate entirely out of Trinium, but I was thinking more about the same composite our armies are made of, materials and all."

I told him that way if this incident happens again we can simply change the energy build up and reabsorb it into generators through seismic or thermal energy and just wish Anubis or whoever luck while the power is then diverted to the satellite shields making the same weapon they're using against us the shield that protects us if they come at earth at the same time. He stuttered and mumbled a bit while General Hammond asked how long it would take to build another stargate and have it in place.

I tilted my head. "With upgrades and an energy based Iris, between ten hours to a day tops. Gregory assured me the technology had been completely mastered and all the same safety protocols are in place so it's just slapping bit together as it were and installing it. Considering the weight will be a hell of a lot lighter than the current stargate with it's composited mixture, it won't take much time to get it here at all."

He told me to see to it and eight hours later a Starhawk flew the active gate remotely out of the solar system entirely. Meanwhile the gate at Armor Tech had already finished far ahead of schedule and delivered the shiny silver looking gate with all the same symbols only the ring did spin. The symbols merely lit up and dialed the wormholes as necessary. Still, we had to wait until the stargate blew up before it was fixed and I had to hook up the stargate to power siphoning generators that took the excess power from incoming wormholes should the need arrive.

The process was a hell of a lot faster dialing out and far smoother in the long run since there was no shaking at all. The capacitors were built in so once it was locked into place and they tested the Iris a few times, it was good to go. It was the exact same size as the old gate so even that was perfect. On the side I brought up an extra screen in the gate control room and McKay asked what it was for.

I grunted. "This gate has an in built subroutine that sends out a signal when we decide to find all gates in the network inside and outside our galaxy using subspace transmitter relays. All it's for is basically mapping the universe and informing us of all gates buried or not and notifying us of their condition, whether they're buried or simply destroyed or in a black hole. Simple, effective and will in fact help us understand the ancients and everything it can."

He was gobsmacked saying he could've thought of that if he had unlimited resources as well. I shrugged. "It wasn't me who thought of it, but it's safe and entirely undetectable unless whoever's monitoring the gate is specifically looking for it at that exact moment. Still, it's untraceable since it bounces said signal to all gates randomly in the span of a millisecond."

I gestured to the screen saying the progress will light up with the gate addresses and all pertinent information on them. I finished and left the monitor up when the explosion was confirmed by the satellite feed almost a hundred hours later. The new gate came online and General Hammond dialed the off world teams. The information popped up seconds later on the screen as billions of stargates over hundreds of galaxies showed up on the screen.

Many were in red or black meaning buried, black hole or destroyed in pieces. Still, so much was gained including those visibly moving around on the screen. We could literally see new gates popping up and I smiled when Rodney said the program was laggy. I shook my head. "Not laggy, those are obviously automated seed ships that manufacture and plant stargates on pre-scanned habitable worlds. Even after all this time it's a wonder that they're still going. Tens of millions of years at least must've passed by the time the stargate technology was built by the ancients."

They were all stunned until the next SG team came in. Things returned like usual and Teal'c dialed us up saying the Free Jaffa attacked Anubis's fleet and destroyed the device attacking our stargate. I informed him that the old stargate was destroyed but we built a newer one for us and I'd be happy to share the knowledge with the Jaffa as to how it was done, freely as thanks for their efforts in protecting our world. Bra'tac and the Jaffa were more than happy to accept and congratulated me on my return to flesh and bone.

Teal'c was soon home and we ended up on a mission to Anubis's mothership showed up at the edge of our solar system and continued inwards. The sensors showed it had a few life signs, but they were low as if in meditation or a coma. The escape pods had been used up and the ship went into a stable planetary orbit when it was decided not to fire on it. We took a team of scientists and I warned them to wait until I've dispatched those aboard before nodding the ship themselves or they could be killed.

Jack asked if I could do it from outside or if I no longer had that kind of juice. I grunted and told him they were likely in a deep state of meditation to lower their heartbeats to one or two beats per minute which is why they were barely detected. I told him that I'd need to be there when they come out of it to knock them out. Still, I was able to tell them that it was Thor who took over the ship with his mind when it was downloaded inside and that the ship was on a frozen self destruct while he killed a lot of Jaffa on board to force them to flee so he could come to us for help.

I told them. "I can shut the self destruct off with the knowledge I've taken from the Jaffa. Their goal is to sabotage and kill anyone who attempts a rescue and retake the ship or die in Anubis's name."

When we boarded, I told Sam how to remove Thor while I disarm the self destruct. I told them to give me five minutes to deal with the Jaffa. I fully suited up and they did the same before I ran fast on my own. I headed to the shield generator room where the Jaffa were near on the scans.

I found and knocked out all three of them, taking their swords and dragging them to the cargo ship. I used cuffs made of trinium and dropped them in front of the group. "I'm keeping the swords. These three are elite Jaffa and part of the personal guard of Anubis himself. Anubis is ascended or partially so from what I can see in their minds. Their faith in him is beyond fanatical and supersedes all else. They'd kill and die for him or kill themselves if he's defrocked in their eyes."

Jack grunted. "Great, more fanatics, just what I need. Can't you bring me anything good?"

I shrugged. "I have the codes to turn off the self destruct so as soon as Thor's removed I can hand the ship over to you. Since it was Anubis's mother ship odds are it's way more advanced than anything we have and studying it could lead to breakthroughs in all areas to better protect earth, plus brand new mother ship, nice and shiny."

He fanned himself saying I shouldn't have and I smiled before telling them to be careful because Thor was stuck in the system so anything could go wrong if they screw with too much until he's out. We got to work and ten minutes later Thor was on a crystal drive while the ship was relocated and cloaked above earth while crawling with scientists. Thor was sent to the Asgard who showed up when called through the gate and came back in a cloned body looking worse for wear but thanking us nonetheless.

Weeks later the Arctic research team found something and called us in. When we arrived, I went full suited and warned them to quarantine everything including themselves. The full team activated their suits and Jack asked what it was. I told him they found an ancient infected with the plague and since he and I have the ancient gene we're screwed if we get it.

The whole Arctic team was infected from what I could tell from scans. I told them what to do and warned them and the SGC that it was highly contagious to all humanoid lifeforms and deadly for us all, but it was extremely so for those with the ancient gene because it can remove any chance at ascension to avoid permanent death. They asked how I knew that and I shrugged saying I just do. I was able to trigger an immune response in the three normal humans to fight it off and survive, but I warned them I could only do it so many times because effecting other's physiology was extremely taxing on the mind.

When it was time, I managed to try and do so for the ancient woman they called Ayiana, but the backlash blasted Jack and myself unconscious for a few hours. When we woke up they said that we'd been infected somehow and I told them it wasn't just physical, it was a mentally contagious plague which was how the ancients must've contracted it so fast. I looked at it under a microscope in quarantine and told them. "This isn't good. It's biologically engineered to target the ancient gene carriers. The only thing I can think of to save is now is the Tok'ra symbiotes. They're likely the only creatures that can defuse and cure the disease in time before we're killed."

I turned to the researchers behind the glass. "Keep her in ice. She still alive and in a state of cryo freeze. If she's given a symbiote to heal her temporarily, she can restart her life."

I flipped the patch on Jack's and my sides, telling him to die or press it and temporarily get a Tok'ra's help. I pressed mine and told them they had to abide by quarantine protocols all the way because the galaxy would be fucked if the plague gets out. I laid down a cryo sleep took me and woke up in a Tok'ra ship with Jolinar in my head. She said Kanin was in Jack and Selmak was in the ancient woman, not just helping her heal but helping her catch up on current events.

I sat up slowly and Jolinar warned me to take it easy because even with my advanced body I was very easily exhausted for now. I did so as Garshaw came in with a few others and told me that we were in cloaked orbit over earth. I thanked her and warned her Aiyana could not remain a host if she's to be all that she was, just like a Tok'ra must leave their host bodies if they're to let go of their burdens and ascend.

Garshaw thanked me for that bit of information, taking it as I'd meant it. Still, I was happy Selmak could help the ancient woman. I got some more rest and learned Kanin took off in Jack's body when I woke up again. Jolinar told me my body was cleansed of the disease and I now had antibodies against it as strong as any vaccine.

She had to rest herself before she was able to return to her clone body. When is he was rested hours later, I gave her clone body a kiss and she passed back into it like Selmak did for Aiyana. Aiyana said thanks to Selmak and all of us. She returned to earth with me and I told General Hammond about Kanin taking off.

It'd been almost a week since we'd went under and Aiyana pretty much stayed by my side since we returned to earth. She constantly bugged me telepathically for answers so I let her in once and she tried sharing herself with me in the ancient mind melding emotions way. She said I was the last ancient male and former ascended alive and she didn't want to be alone like she'd been when Atlantis left her at the outpost. I gave in and shared myself with her, telling her my life was complicated.

She kissed my cheek saying we'd live it together then and face it as one. I closed my eyes and sighed before agreeing. We'd essentially married then and there in the way the ancients were known to in her time apparently. She told me that her last chosen left her for the Pegasus galaxy because she was sick.

I told her that I'd never do something so callous and she called it logical. I shrugged saying that to live without the one closest to your heart isn't life, it's surviving and just surviving is no way to live. My words confused her, so I let her feel everything and know I'd tried with Sam. She agreed that it wasn't the same saying it was deeper when the other can share themselves fully and I had to agree sadly.

Still, I learned that it wasn't quite the commitment of marriage humans had now, but more like a mutual lovers pact for an indeterminate time with exclusive and very personal rights to their lover's mind and body. She knew all about me in this life including the fact that my body and mind were even more advanced than her own carrying the DNA of four races, three of them being advanced races from before her time.

Being a geneticist, she was fascinated with my entire being, especially my unique mutated gene and eyes. Sam was already seeing someone so she didn't say anything. Aiyana and I came together that night for the first time. She relaxed on my bed spreading her legs as her right knee was up, rocking to the music playing smoothly in the background.

She told me we had a low fertility rate as a species and with my decent from ascended being my human genes had been overtaken by the Alteran ones. Still, she stroked her lower lips as excess seed flowed out saying that my attempts could lead to a child. She asked if that was what I wanted from her. I told her that I wouldn't mind either way so I'd leave it to her and her wants.

She rubbed her thighs together and pulled me to her saying she had more immediate wants right now then. I chuckled and we were interrupted by an airmen telling us that the Tok'ra had sent all the information on Jack's possible whereabouts. I kissed Aiyana and told her to clean up and join me for the conference. She agreed showing me her ass which she knew I enjoyed before teasings me as I grabbed a shirt and pants before leaving.

I'd showered already so I was out of there fast despite her temptation. General Hammond allowed me to go through the files and when I stopped, I briefed them all on the secret gravity technology base that Ba'al had. I told them what happened with Kanin and what likely caused Jack to go back with Kanin. I told them that there was a great deal of sharing between host and symbiote when a proper or even semi blending occurs.

As for us, I suggested we tip off Lord Yu and while the system lord bare down and attacks the facility, I go in cloaked with a team and we retrieve them. General Hammond asked our odds and I shrugged. "Once through the gate, our odds of success are a hundred percent provided they're there and alive of course. It's the only place that makes sense and while it's a fortress, it'll be under siege by others leaving us free to come and go."

He gave the go ahead and Aiyana gave me a deep and passionate kiss, telling me to return to her or she'd come find me. I sighed as Sam questioned me while we geared up. I told her that she herself had made it clear she wasn't available and it was my fault for not coming back immediately so I blew it with her so I was with someone new as well.

We managed to get Jack back after destroying the power generators and moving in cloaked. He and the slave girl Kanin came for were raring to go while Kanin was gone, disappeared in the night when they captured Jack. Jack suffered withdrawals from the sarcophagus Ba'al put him in repeatedly, but otherwise he was fine. Daniel showed up to him and my own eyes.

Aiyana saw him and knew he was ascended. He wished us both happiness such as it was and left when Sam came back in. I smiled to Jack saying he was never alone and he agreed, thanking us. I introduced him to Aiyana and told him she was an ancient geneticist before the plague and the cryo freeze five million years ago. Soon we had Jonas's people asking for military technology.

I told General that the goa'uld Thanos who did experiments on the Naquadria likely left crystals of information behind that could be useful in making the necessary adjustments to our own Naquadria research and finally stabilizing the Naquadria for good. I shrugged saying I'd spent almost a month on it now and while I've come far, I'm missing some key knowledge on the nature of Naquadria that causes the instability itself.

I told them that with it I was confident of having the technology more than just completed, but possibly upgraded as well with what I now know of it within a few months at most. They met with the delegation and Jonas wasn't at ease with it all. Still, I wasn't interested and instead stayed in my lab which I now shared with Aiyana. Most of it was fitted to suit her needs and a lot of technology was made from scratch for her.

When the team returned to Kelowna, I went with them cloaked with Ayana and together we helped the people outside the government see reason and unite to abolish the hard line war policy. I copied Thanos's crystals and we visited the Andari federation and Terania. Soon they were uniting for real in secret to put aside their differences and sue for peace as a coop against all three governments. We met with the group formed of all three peoples and told them about the Naquadria, what it was, how it was originally made, about the stargates, all of it.

I threw a bolt of lightning and Aiyana healed the sick and injured. We told them that we only told them the truth and let them come to their own conclusions, but that if they went to war untold thousands would die and more naquadah in their planet would be turned into Naquadria then it would likely explode and destroy the whole planet, killing them all. I told them they didn't have to take my word for it, all of them could likely find naquadah easily and the radioactive Naquadria would likely be found near the last bomb testing in the ground.

They shivered and we told them that their planet and future was in their hands and it could be a bright one with shared knowledge between our worlds if they wanted or they could do as they please and pray their governments don't get them all killed. We left the hundreds of them that showed up and found SG-1 with Jonas's Professor friend who'd become schizophrenic from radiation damage. We got the Naquadria he'd siphoned away and I grimaced putting it in a shielded box before using a capsule. "The repeated radiation exposure likely caused his condition. We can treat it and hopefully return him to normal, but this will be one hell of a nightmare for him."

Jonas sighed. "Too bad the resistance is a figment of his imagination."

Aiyana appeared next to me as I put the capsule away. "It was and now it's not. We visited the people of your world, explained everything that was happening after getting a copy of the Naquadria research crystal and learned what truly happened. The people know that if this war comes to pass, the odds are good that your planet will be destroyed entirely. The resistance is a very real and very big faction spanning tens of thousands of people in all three nations now."

Jack said we didn't interfere and I snorted. "It was this or watch millions of people blow themselves all to hell for a pointless feed they no longer remember the reasons for. If they succeed they'll have earned the right to trade with earth and be an ally. If they fail, then it's by their own choices that they doom themselves, not power hungry asshole politicians."

I walked passed them to leave saying I'd do the same to earth if all the nations militaries were content to blow the world to hell because they can't get off their asses and talk to one another. I told them I am not like the ancients in their no interference policy. Aiyana said I meant that I didn't want nor would let the innocents suffer because the few in power couldn't see reason no matter the culture, world or race. We returned to the SGC and Hammond said he couldn't be apart of hearing it.

I couldn't be court-martial'd since I'm a civilian and I've been so for years. I erased Jonas's mind of the crystal and left the knowledge of my working on finding a way of stabilizing the Naquadria. Jack and the others met with the rapidly growing resistance. The SGC agreed to help the resistance for a surplus of Naquadria and the agreement to share any shield technology that comes of it with all three countries so long as they unite and are willing to opening trade between our worlds.

To that end it became a bloodless coup led by the Professor and thousands of every day men and women sick of wars that would never end and now threatened all of their existence. All fourteen teams cloaked and took out without killing all the top brass in all three nations with Aiyana's and my help. No one died, but all those pushing for the war were arrested and new leaders were chosen to unite their countries.

Weeks later they gave us the Naquadria and the bomb that had almost been used. I disassembled the bomb and added the Naquadria to our supply while trade negotiations began. Jonas was the intermediary and to that end the people of Langara as they chose to be referred to as, ended up getting a great deal. Medicines, knowledge on them, armors, satellite technology, jet propulsion technology, virtual reality teaching chairs with the basics of earth's knowledge before the stargate.

Cures, the vaccines, all of the non weapons technology stuff we were authorized to give them along with the knowledge for it all. Hell, their quality of life skyrocketed and all the Naquadria was cleared out of the ground from our scans, opening up for trade from a United world. They had modified Tok'ra crystal mining technology and so much more now so it was all easier.

Sam and Aiyana worked with me on the stability project of the Naquadria while we shared shield technology with the Langaran people alongside solar reactor technology, air, water and waste purifiers. The place was certainly much cleaner and they were very grateful for everything starting with Aiyana and I. I told them the Professor was the beginning of it and gave us a solid reason to try especially how we learned Thanos's experiments went. They'd gained a lot and extended their life expectancy so they were happy.

Life continued on and when Jonas wasn't playing diplomat, he was on SG-1 out on missions which included saving a Tok'ra that'd been found out in Anubis's ranks. Some science geeks got in the way so we had to steal a hatak ship and dump the devout Jaffa on the planet. The free Jaffa hidden in the ranks took the ship after dropping us and the Tok'ra agent off. Konsu, the Tok'ra, warned us Anubis was after the eyes of the goa'uld.

On the bright side, we had one and I retrieved the one Apophis had before. It went to powering the upgraded world shield as well like the first. A month passed before we met the Pangarans and I frowned before revealing that I am in fact a telepath and now I knew their secrets about the drug, the Tretonin. Jack asked what I was doing and I waved him off telling the delegates. "We mean you and your people no harm, but we had to make sure you weren't seeking war technologies or working for our galactic enemies, the goa'uld. Now that I know how your tretonin is made, I should tell you something."

The war minister went to speak and I held up a hand. "Relax, it is by no means a negative on your end. We have the goa'uld queen Hathor in fact in a tank in my lab. I sort of have a bad history with her so I keep her there to telepathically torture her or I did so at first. She's healthy and she's yours in exchange for the symbiote queen you have that's dying."

The war minister relaxed before asking why so I sighed. "The symbiote queen you hold is Egeria, mother of all Tok'ra, an offshoot of the same race as the goa'uld only they protected mankind long before your ancestors were taken. Egeria was imprisoned here for saving humans and causing the uprising four thousand years ago. Her people need her back and they are our allies. To give up Hathor for her is a small price to pay. In fact I have been a host to several Tok'ra in the past and feel the same as they do about her."

Jack asked if I was serious and I nodded, telling them that the secret ingredient in the Tretonin is symbiotes. I waved a hand saying it could very well lead to the cure we've been looking for to remove the jaffa's dependence on symbiotes altogether in time, but for now Egeria could at the very least help the free Jaffa movement with symbiot children to carry so they may discard and destroy the goa'ulds in them. I turned to Sam. "Go back, contact the Tok'ra and send Aiyana with Hathor. Let Hammond know and tell Aiyana to bring all the lab with her as well as our latest healing nanites, pills and drugs. It will take a great effort to save Egeria even if I bring her into my own body and restore her from the inside with my own healing factor."

It was a very long day and the Tok'ra stood down once they knew an ancient and I were doing our utmost not only to keep Egeria alive, but to restore her fully. By nightfall we were aboard the Tok'ra ship while the Langarans had the knowledge they needed to help themselves. Egeria had gone in Aiyana and I healed them both with all I had. The cellular degeneration was halted and reversed with Aiyana's expertise and our combined efforts.

The Tok'ra were extremely happy, but sadly nothing was perfect. With the blending we learned Egeria could no longer take a new host. Her extreme age meant that even with the healing and full recovery over the next few weeks, Aiyana would be her last host and afterwards she would die. The Tok'ra pleaded with Aiyana to stay and be the mother of their people.

Aiyana agreed and Egeria told them I would be the father of the next and last generations of symbiotes so that they may inherit my own unique genes and intellect. She had learned a great deal from Aiyana and even more from our shared memories, all of them. The only things she didn't have access to was my subconscious and my other reality memories that didn't originate in this reality.

With that in mind, Egeria, Aiyana and I entered a vast pool the Tok'ra had prepared and when I came out, I dressed while symbiote's began swimming all over. I sat on the water's edge and shared the knowledge we'd shared with all the new Tok'ra with all the other Tok'ra which was easy with the clone's telepathic abilities. I told Selmak to contact the free Jaffa and tell them what we have planned. I told him to tell the Jaffa we are the right track for a permanent cure for them so they never need be reliant on symbiotes ever again.

He bowed and I waved them off. "You need never bow to either of us. Egeria may be your mother, but we are not goa'uld. You are our children in her eyes, not servants."

Selmak smiled and the Tok'ra did so as well. I stroked a few symbiotes at my feet before Aiyana came out of the water slowly. She walked towards me like a predator and I smiled. "Careful lover, you're tired and I can tell. Tempting me will only make you more so."

She sat in my lap, wet and laid against my chest so I sighed and carried her to the bed they provided. I brought her food and laid with her until it was time to meet Bra'tac. I did so and greeted him as an old friend, telling him the details of everything that has transpired. He was extremely happy and agreed to ask the free Jaffa to do this one last carry while we work on the cure for them so that they maybe free of the goa'uld that enslaved them for good and once the symbiotes mature, they will gain allies as well as their independence from the symbiote race entirely.

Selmak, Jolinar and Lantesh stayed with us on earth while the cloaked Tok'ra mothership in orbit pretty much made sure Aiyana would no longer be leaving earth for visits elsewhere. The free Jaffa ships came and went with the new symbiotes after killing their old goa'uld ones. I was pulled away from the genetics and cure research to help deal with a reporter and camera crew situation about to be poking around Prometheus. I went with Jonas and Sam to help give the fifty cent tour.

When I saw the minds of the producer and the camera crew, I knocked them all out with a thought. I erased the reporter's mind of everything before arresting the producer and camera crew, taking their gear and showing the zat guns to the others. "Colonel Simmons's rogue NID cell. They intended to commandeer the Prometheus and force us to release Simmons and Adrian Conrad so they could take Prometheus. Conrad can get the hyper drives online and working so Simmons can take the ship elsewhere for some treasure or other. All they have is the coordinates and a furling message they translated wrong."

I explained about the message being a furling paradise without technology and how to get there before telling them Maybourne lied to Simmons saying it was an alien weapons stash. Jonas asked about the producer and I waved a hand. "A stooge they paid to be the reporter's source and get them onboard. They planned to kill them both. Ironically the reporter is the only one innocent in this beyond wanting to get famous. I erased her mind so you can have Davis drop her off. The rest isn't my business."

I went inside and got the hyper drives online while a circus happened outside. The hyper drives were Asgard designed but reverse engendered so while they were intergalactic, they were really slow while needing the Naquadria generator which I'd almost finished the research on with Sam. Still, it needed a lot of work done on it still to be ready entirely.

As it was, only the shields, hyperdrive and secondary systems were finished. There were even some compartments that were exposed to the elements as it were so it wasn't exactly space worthy by itself yet. So when Thor showed up needing a ship that wasn't advanced, he got it and us. They needed help with the replicator threat so they got us as well.

On the bright side the Asgard patched up the ship and made it flyable for short ranges. I told Thor of Egeria and what Aiyana and I managed to accomplish together with our combined understanding of genetics. I passed the knowledge to him in exchange for the promise that one day he would allow Aiyana and I to learn all the Asgard know, for ourselves and not for earth.

He agreed after contacting the Asgard high council. Aiyana is an ancient and I'm an ancient hybrid of three races now. I stilled, cursing myself for being the Hope Mikaelson of this galaxy. At least before I was just a cluster fuck and I was fine with that.

Back on topic, we went down and landed on the replicator block covered planet. Jack asked the odds of me shutting them all down from the ship and I shook my head. "I'd have to ascend to do that and I'm not sure even then. There's just so many of them, miles thick over the planet's surface."

We ended up meeting the human form replicators and they found my mind was beyond well guarded. This in turn prompted First, the first human form replicator, to try and enter my subconscious himself. He got in where Fifth failed, but all he found was a darkness so vast he couldn't even comprehend it. When he exited my mind he wasn't happy at all.

He said I was somehow able to resist so he spent hours, over and over again. When the darkness fell away he found emotions beyond his wildest understanding and a rage so powerful I was able to use it and force him out of my mind. I grabbed him by the throat and threw him with the force of a cannon at the wall. I panted and sweater before growling again when he came near.

He asked what I was and I grunted as I stood straight and looked him in the eyes. "Something beyond your current ability to comprehend. Unlike you, not everyone is so foolish as to assume emotions are a weakness."

He frowned and I shoved a hand into his head to the other robot's surprise. I took in all the knowledge he and the replicators knew, adding it to the abyss of my subconscious. When I nearly took over Firsts's body to destroy him, the others pulled us apart and knocked me out. I woke up on the ship with the others and we were invited to dinner.

There First made his bold statements that they were better and I ignored him. When he said the flaw in the emotional cortex program made Fifth weak, I snorted lightly and told him that same weakness nearly destroyed him and I'm not a robot. I waved a hand saying Fifth may appear weak to them, but emotions are a double edged sword and what can make one weak, can make another stronger than their own base metal.

I offered First a hand asking if he'd like to try again. He said in due time, once they'd taken all they could from the others and used their deaths to break me down. I went to move and replicator bugs crawled out from everywhere only they were aimed at the team and ready to pounce.
