He'd called Lana and Lana summoned me with watchtower. I headed to Smallville and met up with Kara, Clark and Lara. I barely raised an eyebrow her way before telling Clark to tell me what happened. Kara explained it and I closed my eyes before standing straight from leaning on the wall and opening my eyes. "The crystal is connected to the fortress and if it's removed both of them will disappear. We need to get both of them to the fortress so I can remove the link that binds your mother to the crystal. Then it can be removed and Zor-El will be sealed in it once more."
I turned to Lara as she asked if I could really do it. I nodded slowly. "You may have had a lot of science where you're from, but here there's magic and as a fundamental energy of the universe itself, if I'm willing to pay the price I can do pretty much anything. From time travel to butchering gods and laying waste to worlds with a thought. Trust me, your people haven't seen what real power is since the day Rao made them and left this dimension. Gods are very real and most of them are grade A assholes."
I tilted my head. "I'm sure Rao was nice, but there are many gods from many worlds with many agendas. My point is, your people may have been smart, but they lacked understanding of beings more powerful and capable than themselves."
I grunted and took off my shirt as my clone came out. I handed him clothes and told them. "With five of us now, even if he had a Kryptonian blade he stands no chance, especially since I've already died once by one."
Clark explained the Doomsday shtick and we headed to the fortress where Zor-El was waiting. He said he couldn't allow us to remove the crystal and I smirked. "I've mastered all of Krypton's martial arts and you're no warrior guild member. I fought Zod to a standstill Zor-El, and I nearly killed him. You have no chance now that I'm fully trained."
He eyed me wearily before saying he still had to try. I beat him down brutally in person before sealing the last of his nerve clusters. He fell to the ground paralyzed and my clone finished the ritual, slitting his own throat and breaking the bond as Lara was freed. I incinerated the corpse to nothing and told them. "A bit of energy and the experience of dying is nothing if it helps you Kal-El. Don't look sad, I've died plenty now via clones while keeping Lex away from your son."
I waved to the crystal and told him to remove it. When he did only Zor-El vanished while Lara remained. Kara was happy about that at least and thanked me. I nodded saying it wasn't much, just a spell and some stress relief.
I handed the crystal to her and suggested she put it with her ship. She did so and I spoke to the fortress, telling Zor-El. "I've found it and it's time you returned what was borrowed. I wont activate it, but with Brainiac captured, Doomsday locked away and Zod in the phantom zone, I've fulfilled my oath to you."
Jor-El's voice spoke. "Very well."
The piece to the orb came up from the console and I replaced it with the book of Rao. Lara, Kara and Raya asked what it was and I smiled wryly as the book of Rao disappeared below the crystal console. "What I got back was a piece of the orb of Kandor. I have the full orb now and with it I can revive the kryptonian race if I choose. Zod before he turned on the council and all thirty odd warriors under him plus a clone of Jor-El."
I turned to Clark. "When it's time you can have your Kryptonian father back. Not this analytical cold representation of him. Do not judge the man by the things he's made to ensure your safety. This-"
I waved a hand to the fortress. "This is not Jor-El, not really. I'm sure Lara can attest to my words, but I highly doubt a man who sacrificed himself trying to save his people is so cold to speak as if all human emotions are a weakness. Especially after having come to earth and fallen in love twice himself. Don't judge him by the cold logical pieces of himself he sent to keep you safe. Judge him by the fact that he sent his baby boy to earth knowing he'd likely never see him again because he had to stay and help and he couldn't leave his son to suffer his fate."
I patted Clark's shoulder. "I barely remember my father Kal-El, but I sure as hell know he wasn't the trouble he left behind. Just know that even as a cold holo representation of himself, he still puts your life above the safety of all that remains of Krypton and allows you to do as you please in most cases. The fortress is more than capable of stopping you and even forcing you to stay and learn, but at every turn you've been given the choice to come to conclusions on your own and make mistakes."
I sat on a crystal rock and sighed while Clark worked his anger out. Lara told him I was right about Jor-El while speaking to the fortress. Raya agreed saying the man she knew was passionate and caring of all things, not as cold as stone. I chuckled at the last bit and they all looked to me. I shrugged. "You've hit the nail on the head there."
I waved a hand and explained. "There are two parts of most minds that govern all others. One is cold, analytical and rational, while the other is passionate, emotional and without reason or limits. While Kryptonian science has come far, they were incapable of making something that could copy and contain something that has no limits or is inherently infinite. This is only a copy of the rational half of Jor-El's mind that was sent in Kal-El's ship's computer. Effectively it is half of him and as you explained to Lex when he was split in half, half of someone isn't all they are nor is it their fault if they screw up sometimes."
I looked directly at Clark. "He sent you everything he could to help you, but he couldn't send you everything he was."
I held out the orb. "The Kryptonians in this device aren't evil. They still believe they can save Krypton and that they're still fighting on the right side of the war. Personally I think they, Jor-El and all those that died on Krypton are morons."
I turned to Lara. "Sorry, just an honest opinion of how inept your people were at coming up with logical and obvious solutions."
I made the orb vanish as I stood up. "Krypton was dying because the core of the planet had become increasingly unstable, but it was just one planet in one star system in a vast galaxy of worlds. Not to mention the other twenty-seven galaxies they knew all about. Clearly they weren't bright enough to terraform another planet far enough away to avoid destruction and move via portal or ships."
I waved off Raya. "I know, I know. Your people didn't want to leave the sun god Rao behind. But those stupid enough to stay after being given such an option deserve such a fate. Having faith is good for the soul, but not to the point of being suicidally stupid. Though I do get why Jor-El and you didn't leave Lara, I still don't get why you didn't just have a portal ready when you saw the end had come. I'd have jumped ship when I knew the last few moments were all we'd had and tried to rebuild elsewhere, sun god or no sun god."
She didn't have an answer for me considering we both knew they had that much tech at least. They could open a portal through time and go to the earth's past to plant the stones of power that made up the crystal of knowledge so they could definitely do as I'd suggested even if they'd just used ships. All she could say was that the civil war could've spread to whatever planet they'd gone to. I shrugged and told her they could've divided the people and gone to two separate planets, branching off as two different worlds and ending the civil war, or simply use the extra time a new planet would provide to resolve their conflicts peaceably.
I yawned saying. "I haven't slept in several months so I'll be going now. When it's time and all of you are ready, we can revive those of Kandor and even Zor-El before using the book of Rao to send those who want to go to another world they can rebuild on or I can take them to a world of immortals where they'd retain their powers. There are three gods already there and an entire immortal city they could join."
I waved a hand. "All the technology of krypton and the twenty-eight known galaxies plus many other technologies are there. No need to have to pretend to be human or normal, just so long as you don't kill, rape or harm others the gods there won't smite your asses into Kryptonian space dust."
"There is much more knowledge there than there is in even this fortress and a willing and capable person could become a god as well if they simply learned to apply said knowledge. Only the children age there and and it stays forever beautiful with magical creatures and an abundance of magic itself one can learn to use. No one ever dies there and those that wish it can leave under certain rules that they do not use the knowledge they gained there to harm others outside of that realm."
Clark asked how I knew about such a place and I shrugged. "I found it a while ago."
Raya said she wished to see it so I touched her head, showing her the view of the painted world few ever got to see. When I was done with her, I showed each of them it before telling them. "It's where I intend to retire someday when Kal-El is fully trained and this world stops being so chaotic. I'm only offering this now because the Kryptonians will need a place to go and be themselves or they will no doubt try to change this planet under Zod's leadership. The people there are mostly humans and the magical creatures are separate most of the time because some prefer to be left alone."
Kara said it was beautiful and the other kryptonian females had to agree, it really was at that. Kara asked. "But if Zod and Zor-El-"
I held up a hand. "They'll either live peacefully there or be forced to leave. If they tried anything to disrupt the peace those three gods I mentioned would turn them into space dust. The laws there are lax because the gods there know and see all. They don't care what you do so long as you don't break the law and yes, they see into the minds of everyone there no matter how powerful they become. No one can hide anything from them, but they're cold and indifferent to most matters and prefer to remain anonymous amongst the populace. You'll never know who they are, but if you screw up you'll be warned telepathically or banished if necessary. Real gods are assholes, take my word for it. They remind me a lot of this fortress, cold and ambivalent to all except those they care about."
Yawning, I told them to decide what they want and when they want to let the Kandorians out, but that it wouldn't be today. "I haven't slept in months and I'm in no mood to deal with Zod, even if he hasn't become an evil power hungry asshole like his phantom zone counterpart. Perhaps in a year or two when things aren't as hectic."
They agreed and I teleported us back to the Kent farm where I crashed on the couch in the loft. When I woke up, I went to leave and Clark asked me to stay awhile so I sent my Clone out to help others. He had me doing chores on the farm and acting human. When I asked him the point of it, Lana said they were worried about me and still my friends.
I grunted and put up with it, acting human until I had to help Oliver and the others stop the Black Canary. I grabbed her by the throat and stopped her when she went to scream. I growled. "Stop! If you scream my power will absorb yours and strip you of your power. Now I don't want your power and unless you intend to kill me in one shot, you aren't winning this fight."
I released her and she asked why I was helping them. She recognized the symbol on my chest and I sighed. "Lex Luthor is doing illegal human experiments on powered individuals like us. That file you want is the locations of all the places he's doing them. We stole it to free the prisoners he's experimenting on and destroy the labs so no others can get hurt. You're working on the wrong side of this."
She looked at me before turning to Green Arrow and Chloe. Finally she spoke. "I'm listening."
I smiled. "I'll leave them to show you everything. I have a hurricane off the coast of Florida to stop and a lot of homes to rebuild."
I was gone in the blink of an eye and I knew they'd have it settled from there. I handled those other matters and returned a few days later to hear that the Black Canary had joined the league just like Cyborg, Aquaman and the Flash. I told them about the portals and watchtower, giving them teleporter bracelets and access to everything before telling them I'd do what I can and if nothing else my clone would help them. Lois had OzCorp helping the world and last I heard she was dating the cloned brother of Lex who ran the Daily Planet newspaper.
Lana was gathering proof of everything still like I'd requested so she wasn't participating, but Clark helped out when he wasn't training and so did Kara and Raya. Kara and I saw each other every day on the farm since Clark and Lana insisted I stay and act human just like Kara. Lara stayed with them so it was a bit crowded, but less so than most times before Johnathan had died since Martha was off in DC as a senator.
It wasn't more than a month before Kara and I ended up together, mostly due to being in similar positions. Though we switched positions quite frequently. I had to set up seismic inhibitors and sound dampening devices in the walls and floor. Sure, she'd been a virgin, but we became as close as bunnies.
She was quite vocal and could've given Canary competition in that regard. When we weren't knocking boots she was quite affectionate as apposed to my cold and indifferent demeanor. Clark said we were good for each other despite it being at his place. I told him I gave up my worldly possessions to help people, not hang around a farm so I didn't have money to buy a place.
Lana said she still owned the Talon so we could move there. Kara was all for it and since I didn't care, she and I ended up living in a familiar place. She enjoyed life and teasing me because I'd locked away my emotions mostly. She understood why and thought it a noble sacrifice.
I asked her if that's what she was doing, being with me so that I don't give in and lose control to protect the world. She shook her head and said she'd liked me from the moment I'd helped her because I thought it the right thing to do regardless of how personal sharing such things are. She told me I was a good man whether I'm Kryptonian or human. We ended up back in bed because of that.
My left hand splayed between her breasts while my right worked her bud and my mouth brought pleasure to her quivering lower lips. She really enjoyed that before switching to her favorite position where she felt me the deepest, on all fours. If it wasn't because the bed was lined and filled with magic it would've broke under us after what came next.
When we both achieved release, I kissed her neck and held her there as her body accepted my donation. She moaned and when it was over, I rolled us so she had her back to me and her breasts in the air while my back was on the bed. I was still in her while I stroked her tuft and pumped languidly into her. She sighed and enjoyed it as I played, working us both through several more climaxes.
We fell asleep side by side with her breasts to my chest and my full length buried to the hilt in her. When we woke up, our eyes met and for the briefest of moments I connected our minds, letting her feel what I felt. I pulled back and told her that I wasn't a one woman kind of guy. I told her I tried it repeatedly with Lana, Lois and every other woman I'd been with and it always turned out badly because they wanted someone else or I knew I wasn't good enough for them.
She said I was good enough for her before sighing and telling me that many Kryptonian males had many lovers because they were a very logic based race. She told me that only a few ever married one woman under Rao. She then rolled us so she was on top and told me that so long as they knew she was the lead female she didn't mind sharing such a powerful and good man. I tilted my head and she sighed. "Raya was Jor-El's lover before the fall while he was married and loved Lara. My own father was married and yet he loved only my aunt Lara. I won't push you to becoming like my father. Just so long that we have separate beds and you always come home to me."
I cupped her cheek and a burst of emotion was shared between us as I opened them up entirely. I was vulnerable and if I lost her now I would give in to the hate, rage and anger that is Doomsday hiding in my blood. I'd found it and each day it grew, but I wasn't Doomsday and it wasn't me. She rode me and after an intense orgasm for us both, I carried her to the bathroom and we washed and relaxed in the tub for a time.
Elsewhere my clone was balls deep in Dinah and had already made her immortal. Shit spiraled for Clark over the next few months as Lex murdered Patricia Swann, Lex murdered Lionel, the Department of Domestic Security arrested Chloe because she hacked in without being at watchtower and Lex found out Clark's secret because he'd managed to use the cave to get to the fortress. Lex used the orb I hid in the fortress since only a human could use it and I was no longer human. Lana released all of Lex's dirty secrets including the videos of him repeatedly committing murders, ordering the death of Patricia Swann and several dozen other people.
The fortress was reduced to the crystal of knowledge while Lex and Clark had disappeared. It had taken all the power that was in the fortress to reverse the fortress to a crystal and it'd weakened all of us Kryptonians in the process for a time. I took Raya, Kara and Lara away since they were too weakened to move while the fortress receded.
I took care of the women on the farm while my clone searched for Clark. Kara was pregnant and grounded because her powers were wonky while Lara was unfamiliar with the planet or her powers as a whole so she was learning with Raya who'd become a second lover of mine. Lana was worried, but she was busy cracking down on LuthorCorp whose CEO was a mass murderer and now that his 33.1 experiments were released to the public, worse than any Nazi.
LuthorCorp tried to fight it, but within the month since Clark and Lex had disappeared, they'd lost a lot of stock and backers. OzCorp and Queen enterprises had bought up and dismantled most of the company's assets and Lex was wanted for all his heinous crimes. Tess Mercer had become the public CEO inherent of LuthorCorp since Lucas declined when I told him Lex was still alive and would probably kill him like he did their father if he took over.
My clone and the league brought down the LuthorCorp workers when they found something that turned out to be Clark's jacket. Lois was on the hunt for Chloe and I found her when we turned up no leads on Clark.
Once I busted Chloe free and got her back, I told the team to quiet down because I needed to concentrate and hear the world itself. My clone spoke, saying he'd take the bottom hemisphere of the globe to lessen the pain. I grimaced and nodded while Lois asked what we were doing. I sighed. "We're going open our minds to everything, every human and animal on earth. It's dangerous and why we didn't do so before is because of the mental agony we take in. We will feel everyone's pain, every cry for help, every scream and every death in the world. It's enough to drive most people and even Kryptonians mad, but with Doomsday's powers, we're hoping it'll be enough to find Clark if we're quick about it."
Kara said I didn't have to do it and I smiled before touching her stomach and asking what kind of man I'd be if I didn't bring home her cousin for her and everyone here. She held my hand and told me she wouldn't care about finding Clark if the cost was me. I smiled and told her that it had to be done because I couldn't be the symbol of hope for this world that he can. I turned to my clone and nodded as we sat and closed our eyes.
We levitated cross legged across from each other and groaned. The pain of hundreds of wolves shifting hundreds of times was nothing compared to that of the world. Six billion people all crying out and divided between my clone and I. I grunted as our noses bled with our ears and eyes. The mental strain was so intense my clone died before I stopped and coughed up blood.
I groaned. "He's in Russia. Verkhoyansk, Russia."
I passed out and healed while my clone revived. Oliver managed to get Clark back from Russia by the time I woke up. The Martian was there and offered to help Clark regain his powers. I told him there was no need and that I'd take Clark to the sun myself.
I told him if he wants to help then he can join the league and help protect this planet. Clark asked if I was sure and I nodded. "After what happened, I need more healing than you need powers. The sun will do me some good even if leaving earth's atmosphere will temporarily kill you while you regain your powers. This isn't going to be pleasant on either of us Kal-El."
I flew us out with my clone's help and Clark died before being brought back when we flew into the corona of the sun. I healed internally rapidly and he regained his powers, healing from death. I flew us back down to earth and asked how he could still not fly. We landed and he said it was his fear of heights.
I grunted and passed him off while I pulled Raya and Kara into my arms. My clone pulled Dinah into his we talked about finding Lex. I told them. "For a moment I sensed him, but it was vague, hidden and not altogether alive. I think he barely survived the fortress and he's in hiding, likely using kryptonite to upgrade his body while the pills repair him or in a healing tank somewhere. I can't tell which, but wherever he is, it's shielded and vague. I could-"
A sound like a grenade went off happened as Raya and Kara elbowed my stomach and I grunted. "Aright, I won't do it again."
Oliver said we'd just have to find him the old fashioned way and I agreed. A day later I was forced to intervene when Bette Sans Souci, aka plastique and the mirror image of Max, blew up a bus with Tess Mercer on it. No one was killed, but I captured Bette, taking her powers and dropping her psychotic ass in the painted world where she was put in lockup for another me to deal with later or for Max to deal with herself.
In the meantime, I met with Tess Mercer in her office and told her indifferently that Davis Bloome and I were all that remained of Doomsday. I told her how I was infected as a child and how my power's mutated with the meteor rock. Finally I told her that I'd extracted Doomsday from Bloome and sealed it away, leaving only his human shell. I stood up and told her that the only threat to earth was her psychotic half brother trying to make super soldiers from meteor infected humans and killing anyone including their father when he got in his way.
I walked to the door and stopped, telling her. "Be careful miss Mercer. If Lex can, he will use you up until there's nothing left and if you're lucky, you'll end up like Lionel. If not then you'll wish you had. That's the thing about charismatic and intelligent leaders, they can always find more followers to sacrifice for their causes."
She asked. "And you're different how?"
I shook my head. "I'm not trying to lead or control anyone. I'm just giving them options and doing what I can to help those who cry out in pain. Your brother made sure that I'd be on the run when he came after me to create his human weapons. I can't allow him or anyone get to the piece of Doomsday inside of me so I run, because running is better than giving in and becoming the killer and monster I guard. I'll always have it in me and from it's powers, I can never truly die. What would you have me do? Kill Lex and become the monster or let him take pieces of the monster and make an army of them at his beck and call?"
She shifted uncomfortably and I sighed. "I was human once, a child really, before it changed me into what I am now. I don't want to change again because I know the next change will be Doomsday and not me. Leave Bloome alone, he's an innocent man and fully human. I made sure of it when I pulled Doomsday out of him. I wanted to do for him what no one, not even the known alien species, can do for me. Leave him be."
She nodded slowly and I was gone a moment later. I passed Clark on his way in, but not even he had seen me. A day later Tess passed the news to Lois and she to me that Tess wanted to talk. I showed up to a murder scene and watched the cops drag out bodies of over a dozen would be gang bangers from an alleyway. Tess walked over next to me with her little team and told me. "Bloome's handiwork. We've been tracking him ever since you gave me his name, watching him for signs of any shred of Doomsday remaining in him. I guess you were wrong."
I shook my head. "No, not entirely. They were killed by him, not Doomsday. It seems he's had a psychotic break. The bodies smell of terror, but there's an air of extreme psychosis and stress. The explosion and all that trauma you triggered by going after that meta human must've woken up the primal part of his brain. It seems he still has a piece of Doomsday's mind, but not it's power or body."
Livewire asked. "What are you, part bloodhound?"
I looked her way. "Wolf actually. I absorbed the power of a wolf shifter and now I have it."
When another of the team said I was a cheap copy of his power, I turned to Parasite. "Unlike you, the powers I take don't have to be a meta human's. Though you're free to try and take my powers. You body will likely explode into a sticky paste from the overload."
He grimaced and I turned back to Tess. "I'll find him and try to extract the psychosis from him if I can. If not he'll have to be put in a psychiatric facility."
A small explosion went off not far away at Davis's apartment and Tess spoke. "I couldn't take that chance."
I grimaced and shook my head before asking. "So, you have your team, you have me here. Are you going to try to kill me next?"
She shook her head. "Kill you? No. I'm fairly certain that would be a bad idea. But capturing you-"
In the blink of an eye all of her team was paralyzed and their powers were taken by me, Parasite's and the nuclear weapon meta included. I stood there before her as they fell, breathing in and out slowly as she looked at me in shock. I told her. "Nothing can kill Doomsday for long and I can't let you wake it. Putting me in a cell only frees it to rampage and slaughter."
She calmed as her heart beat fast regardless until I kissed her to her shock. I told her to be careful because the more threatening she is the more the animal inside me wants her. She put a blade to my chest and I leaned in, breaking it. I freed her team and whisked her away to the mansion where I told her that her team was stripped of powers and useless now.
I took out a Kryptonian blade and handed it to her. "Refined and purified meteor rock without the harmful radiation. If you want to kill me, it's the only way for a human to do so, but I'm warning you now, if you try and fail, I will tear your clothes off and let my inner animal take you, over and over again. I gave up on being human and I don't take threats to my life or freedom as a joke. Once I have you, I will never let you go even if I have to make you immortal and give you the Kryptonian powers Lex would kill for."
She took the blade and asked. "Why?"
I touched her face and smiled sadly. "You're beautiful, strong and I understand the violence inside of you. I can see into your mind as easily as others breathe and I still can't understand how you're so good despite all that's happened."
She flinched and I guided her blade to my throat. "Cut off my head, incinerate my body and leave nothing for Doomsday to come back as. It's the only way to kill me for good and only the Traveler knows this besides you and myself now. If you fail or aren't fast enough, either Doomsday or I will come back and there is no second chances. Nothing else will work and we'll be immune to everything after we die by it just once."
I released her hand and told her to do it or let me go because I can't run forever and I won't run from someone who isn't evil at heart, despite having every right and reason to be. She looked me in the eyes and dropped the blade, kissing me. I warned her I wasn't human and that I have other females so she's have to share. She hesitated, but I swore to her that I'd never reject or abandon her, ever.
She tore at my clothes and soon I was balls deep in her while she enjoyed what an immortal with powers and skills could show her, all night long. I let her rest when she needed it, held her and fucked her when she didn't need rest. She collapsed on my chest as the sun rose and I stroked her ass while her body drained and greedily devoured my seed. I sighed and she asked to know everything.
I told her she'd have to swear an oath of magic and power to never betray me. She nodded and agreed when I promised to swear the same plus my oath never to abandon her. I floated us up and onto my feet as her legs locked behind me, holding me into her depths. I brought out the magic and we swore before I sent out a pulse and fried all the electronic equipment in the bedroom.
I put her head to mine and showed her all except Clark's and the other Kryptonian's secret identities. I showed her how vast the universe is and of the fall of Krypton. I showed her Zod and the others, what they'd done and what they wanted. I showed her Brainiac and the phantoms as well before showing their defeat.
I showed her in memories all the powers I possessed and finished by showing her a memory of the painted world. I told her out loud that it was where she and I along with all the other females I was with would go and live in peace and harmony when this world no longer needed us. She nodded, saying it was beautiful. I set us in the large tub and told her while we disconnected. "One day you'll tire of seeing normal people come and go while you no longer age so the immortal realm will be the only place for us."
I gave her a cup of water and she drank it before shivering. She asked what that was and I told her. "The waters of eternity. You're now immortal and heal to the point of being invincible. You'll not age any longer or ever get sick."
I put her hand against my heart and did a spell to share my Kryptonian powers with her. I grunted when it was done. "Now you have all the powers of a Kryptonian including our strength."
I cupped her cheek and told her the animal hadn't had it's fun yet, she'd only had the man, but now it was time to change that. I had to put up a sound barrier spell and toss out several quake inhibitors before the wolf, slayer and beast in me tore her fine ass up. Literally when she brought out the lube. She was wrecked and a very tired mess while I held her.
All she could say was wow and no more. She didn't have a Kryptonian physique so she was just a human with extreme durability and an immortal level of healing. She healed though and buried her happy face in her hair and my chest. I told her that I'd be in town and until Lex is caught, stripped of resources and put in jail where he belongs, I couldn't stay full time at the mansion.
I told her that she was mine now and I'd protect her from anything except another of my females, but Lex will come for me if only to use as a weapon to face the traveler. She asked if I knew who he was and I nodded. "I do, but I've sworn to protect his identity with my life just as he's sworn to kill me if Doomsday takes me over."
We got out of a very messy tub and rinsed off while I told her. "I'll ask the traveler to trust you, but it's up to them whether they want to risk it. You're very close and with last night-"
I shook my head and sighed before telling her. "Just try not to kill anyone else Lena, especially with the powers I've given you and the knowledge with them."
She nodded and asked if Lois knew. I nodded. "About my powers, yes, but about the alien stuff? No. She still thinks I'm a meta human. We were split up when I gave up the last of my human life."
She nodded and gave me a view of her well fucked lower lips, teasing me now. I sighed and told her. "Kryptonians have a low birth rate and although you're still technically human, albeit immortal, I'm not. It's highly unlikely we'll have a child this century."
She smirked. "It's still fun to try-"
She moaned as I was in her in a flash, hammering into her at speeds that drove her wild and soon while moaned and groaned together as we found our release. She put in a tampon and said if it takes, it takes, if not she'd douche it out later. I raised an eyebrow and she said she'd felt how turned on I'd gotten at the thought of her pregnant and since we were immortal and bound together now, she wanted to see me happy.
My smile softened and I kissed her before telling her to be careful of Lex because I would commit some very violent acts and unleash hell if he or anyone somehow figured out a way to hurt her. She nodded and I told her she was mine. She agreed, feeding the beast's ego while I backed away. We were dressed in blurs and I told her to play nice because I had no interest in Lois and the three other women I had would soon meet her themselves.
She nodded and I stopped before telling her. "One of them is pregnant so play nice. She's a Kryptonian like another while the last is like you only she has the power of sonic screams as well."
She nodded. "Black Canary, I've heard of her."
I nodded and sighed. "I'd fight and die for any of you, but I won't get between the four of you. Call it what you will, but I won't choose sides and I won't abandon any of you. One day I hope to hold each you in my arms while our children laugh and play in the immortal dimension. Call it what you will, but I'm only just a man at heart, regardless of species."
She smiled and said she'd handle it before I left to be with Kara while telling them of Tess. I was always honest and now Clark asked if it was wise. I told him that it was better to have her on our side than to deal with her and Alex against us. I told him why I'd done it and that she could be trusted to die before she ever tells his secret or any of ours.
I stroked Kara's growing stomach and sighed. "She wants to belong, to feel cherished and to never be abandoned like Lionel did to her repeatedly as a child. I have given her a magical oath and she to me that we'd never betray or abandon each other. If I break it, I die and Doomsday is reborn in my body. If she breaks it she dies and her immortal body becomes a conundrum humans will never understand."
Dinah put down the muffin and said she thinks it'll be fine then. I told her that sarcasm will only see her against a wall with me in her. She smirked and said. "Promises promises."
Lana rolled her eyes and fed Alex while Clark sighed. "I'll speak to her today. And don't talk about sex in front of the baby."
I shrugged and had my way with my three super powered woman. Dinah was the quickest to tap out before I left her in the bath while I took Kara who had a near instant orgasm reaction from her hormones. I held her for a bit until she fell asleep, then it was Raya's turn and we went to the painted world for a while where we made love by a lake far from the city and warehouse. Thankfully the lake was floating so it didn't cause earthquakes when we fucked like bunnies in heat.
While we lay in post coital bliss, she told me that the clone of Jor-El that would come from the orb wouldn't remember her because she wasn't his assistant or lover then. I grabbed her ass and told her that she was all mine then and I didn't have to kill a clone to keep her. She snorted lightly and didn't argue as I was very aggressive when it came to my lovers.
I took her back and she climbed into bed in a shirt and panties with my clone who held Raya and Dinah while I held Kara myself. They fell asleep and so did my clone while I slowly stroked Kara's stomach knowing I'd have a lot to answer for one day. Weeks and several visits to Tess later passed before Maxima of the planet Almerac showed up killing people with a deadly kiss.
I was with Tess when Maxima showed up looking for a Kryptonian. She asked for the owner of the crystal and Tess went to call Clark only for her to go for the phone and try to stop her. I caught Maxima by the throat. "Stand down Almeracian. Harm her and you'll wish you'd stayed home."
My burning gaze stopped her and she smiled. "Finally a Kryptonian male."
I growled and shoved her away when she kissed me. I told her coldly. "I'm not the owner of the crystal, Kal-El of the house of El owns it. The closest house I could belong to is Zod."
Her eyes widened and said she'd heard of the famous war General of Krypton. I told her that we were only related in the strictest since. I told her the blood of Doomsday, the son of Zod, altered my species from human to Kryptonian, to that of Zod's son. She shrugged. "Kryptonians and their science, always preferring the clones and toys to real mating."
She was against me in a second and I told her I wasn't the one she was after. She said she was after a Kryptonian, not a specific one since we were so rare. I grunted. "I won't go to Almerac with you and I'm no one's second choice."
She smiled saying I spoke like a true king. I narrowed my eyes and she told me Almeracians have high fertility rates with Kryptonians and once she was pregnant she'd leave until the child was born, then come to stay with her mate. I grabbed her by the throat and held her against the wall, telling her that I have many lovers and I'd given up the concept of monogamy. Tess put down the phone to watch and when Maxima said she was fine with being one of many so long as they weren't weak and neither was I.
Tess snorted and told her I was an unkillable, unstoppable warrior with more power than any true born Kryptonian and even if I died I'd come back stronger than ever and more pissed off. She told Maxima I was an unstoppable world destroyer. Maxima only seemed to get wet by the prospect and kissed me. She pulled back saying our child would be the ultimate being. Right then and there in front of Tess, she hiked up her mini skirt, freed me and slid on me, losing her virginity in the process.
The castle shook until Tess put down the seismic dampeners. She joined us in bed and soon both she and Maxima were satisfied. For a tough as nails queen, the moment I overpowered her and sank into her depth she became meek and needy, like my strength was her greatest turn on. The sex bunny queen was languidly relaxing while I dressed. She said she'd taken an ovulation stimulator so combined with her kiss, she'd gotten what she wanted for now.
I grunted and told her to come back and find me if it doesn't take. She smiled before saying she'd find me regardless when the child's born. Sighing, I told her kissing humans or other men isn't allowed from now on and if she slept with another man on Almerac, I'd find and kill him, unleashing what I am and wiping her planet of any survivors.
I lifted her chin to meet my gaze and she saw the promise of violence underneath. It only turned her on more so she left much later. Tess called Clark to let him know that Maxima was leaving. She explained what happened and that she'd be back one day to stay because I refused to leave.
Maxima left earth and I ignored the small stuff because I was busy saving lives and making a difference until Kara gave birth to my son, Kyle-El. I'd even zoned out Lana and Clark's wedding as well as when he'd rebuilt the fortress of solitude to continue his training. He'd taken over as a savior and I'd retired myself while my clone stayed active with the league. Kara and I raised baby Kyle together and when it was time for Chloe's wedding, I sought out and brought Lex into the light, reading his mind and destroying all the clones he'd made.
Even those with Clark's blood were destroyed, leaving no trace of the merged half breeds. Tess fully merged LuthorCorp and Queen industries before merging again with OzCorp under Lois's care. Both Oliver and Tess were billionaires from the buyout and merger so they had no real issues there. Oliver and Lois were together as a couple and a damned fine power couple nowadays.
Jimmy Olsen and Chloe had a happy wedding and with their wedding came my women's gift to them. Chloe became the editor of the Daily Planet and Jimmy was with her as co-owner. Besides the castle and now solar powered jets, Tess didn't keep much else from LuthorCorp which was now history. Kara, Raya, Dinah, baby Kyla and I all moved into the castle at Tess's insistence because she refused to visit the Talon each time she wanted to see them or wanted me.
I asked why I felt like a kept woman and she told me I was more like the handsome pool boy. That earned her extra spankings for sure. In the meantime Chloe and Jimmy's wedding went off without a hitch and they moved into the ground based Watchtower which was so secure. That is of course after the future patrol calling themselves the Legion showed up after an axe wielder wielding a fiery axe, buried it in my chest.
My brutal death woke up the monster in me and a battle of wills began. I ripped the axe out of my chest and nearly buried it in the Persuader's skull. The Legion stopped me and Clark held me back while the blonde female, Ima, warned them as they took the Legion ring from the Persuader. "He's awoken Doomsday. The Persuader's goal is clear, we need to get him to the fortress or Doomsday will be set free and all Kryptonians will be killed by it. It's host is strong even for a telepath, but Doomsday is adjusting quickly."
Chloe and Jimmy had already left since we were doing cleanup when they arrived. Garth, the annoying one, had to be warned not to touch me or I'd take his powers and anyone else's. Kara, Raya and Clark dragged me away kicking and roaring until Kara broke my neck to make things easier. I woke up still fighting a battle that couldn't be won as I was now.
Still, I saw everyone else holding me down and stilled my body, going lax as I got a stranglehold over Doomsday briefly. The legion and league had all come and Oliver asked what they could do to help. I could speak, but with Imra's help, I could still communicate. She told him of Orion's bow and how it wounded the dark god of the planet Apokolips, Darkseid.
She told them that Darkseid was Orion's father and thus he was a demigod, but the power he wielded wasn't dark, but a balance between the dark and light. The bow appeared and she told them I knew how to fix it by extracting Doomsday using the bow's divine power. She gave the information to Tess who'd been my best magical student and had learned all the magic I knew via telepathic schooling.
Tess used the bow's power, but it was Oliver that had to wield it. The telepath had the hardest job with the other two making a barrier around the grown extracted creature. The others had stopped it with heat vision and ice breaths, creating an intense difference in temperature inside doomsday whom exploded. I sat up and growled. "Lower the barrier now!"
They did and I unleashed a blast of enormous energy that vaporized the remains and drained me to human levels of power. I leaned against the rock and Garth, the electric user of the three legion members asked. "Ok, what the heck was that and can I learn to do it?"
I huffed before laughing. "That was me channeling the power of three royally pissed off gods. Sadly the backlash was me being temporarily stripped of powers, but unfortunately they'll come back with time. My body is now purely Kryptonian."
Mira spoke up. "But not your soul right? Your soul is part divine or you'd be destroyed channeling that much divine energy."
I grimaced and shrugged. "Everyone has their secrets. You may be a telepath, but you aren't my woman. Stay out of my head or you'll find more than you've ever bargained for."
She flinched as I shut her out and thanked her for helping me hold off Doomsday. She shrugged. "You weren't meant to die today, but soon enough history says you vanished with several here."
I grunted, unconcerned. "The Kandorian's then."
I touched my chest and muttered that the axe split atoms, but Doomsday was my death regardless. Those with super-hearing all heard me and Clark asked what I meant.
I shrugged. "This body is dying. The spell wasn't enough. Without Doomsday and after so long with it, my body is out of whack. I can't survive more than a month outside of the immortal dimension at most or my body will continue to degrade. Just like Davis Bloome degraded into a serial killer because he held a fragment of Doomsday's mind, my body has it's lifeforce in it without the beast being there."
Kara asked if I could fuse with the original doomsday and I shook my head. "It would be too much and with the remaining divine energy, my body would reject a full being regardless of what it fused with. My path is clear now. Either I go to the immortal world, or I die and fall to pieces."
I stood up straight and turned to Oliver. "Be careful with that bow. It can wound or kill any being in existence, but the cost for a mortal is a piece of their soul each time it's fired. Use it too much and you'll wish it'd just killed you. You'll become colder and colder until you desire to feel and the only thing that comes close is killing others."
He set it down and I grunted. "Keep it. Just remember that with great power comes an even greater cost. The human soul is infinite in it's capacity so you'll recover with time after one or two shots. No armor or weapon forged by mortals can block or deflect arrow's fired by it. Orion was said to be the greatest archer ally mankind ever had. It seems fitting that the greatest archer of our time should wield it wisely."
Oliver said he'd try to live up to the hype then. The Legion left and I pulled the orb through time and space, passing it to Oliver. I told him how to open it and release the cloned Kandorians. He asked if I was sure and I nodded. "They won't have powers, but they are trained soldiers. Each one will appear under a Kryptonian glyph all across the world. We must gather them before their General has a chance to corrupt their minds with lies or my body degrades to death. Bart, you, my clone and I will take the Southern Hemisphere. Bring them to the mansion and once they're together, we'll all speak with them as one. The rest of you have the rings. Use the satellites to locate them, teleport in and take them to the mansion as needed. Just keep in mind that they were at war when the cloned blood was taken."
They agreed and it began with Zod forming his symbol as he formed I told Oliver to release the orb and he backed away quickly. When Zod was formed, I hit him with a tranq dark and put away the orb into my ring. I nodded to the others. "Let's get to work."
The next day more than thirty trained soldiers were there unconscious while only Jor-El was left awake with his wife Lara by his side. When the Kandorians awoke, I told them to sit, drink and eat their fill before we discussed their future. Zod refused and I held up a blue kryptonite ring, putting it on and sealing my powers. I told them of what Zod had become in the later hours of the war and what he'd made before telling them how I became a Kryptonian.
I told him that the blue kryptonite strips the Kryptonian wearer's powers so we were equal. I then tossed him a Kandorian sword I'd asked the fortress to make. I told him that if he wants to lead these people against earth in a war of survival, he was free to do so over my dead body. I told him that like them all, I am a military man bred and raised so he can fall in line, or challenge me and be beaten into line.
He took up the sword at his feet and I unsheathed mine saying. "May your blade chip and shatter."
We clashed moments later and I moved fast, inflicting dozens of cuts on him while he tried to defend. He was skilled, but not nearly as skilled as his older evil self. He lasted to the hundredth cut before falling. I told him to get up and he couldn't.
I snorted. "Humans have been known to last well into the hundreds and even to the thousandth cut. They named this a form of execution called the death of a thousand cuts. So stand up or kneel!"
Zod struggled to get up and fell to his knees, dropping the blade at my feet. He said Doomsday may be gone, but it was his blood that made me stronger than he himself. He saluted me and the others did as well so I had Oliver take off my ring before I healed Zod, telling them everything that happened and what I planned for them next. I told them the immortal realm had rules, but they all boiled down to no killing, raping or being an asshole.
I told them kryptonian homes were there and I was willing to give them their powers so they could flourish under the yellow sun there, but they'd have to live in peace with the immortals already living there which were thousands of them ranging from simple immortal humans to three gods who won't reveal whom they are, but they will punish anyone that breaks the rules via banishment or outright smiting into nothingness.
I told them there was no governing body because the rules were already stated and beyond them they could do and live as they please. Zod asked about the dangers and I sighed. "Leave the magical creatures alone and besides pissing off the three gods that live there, nothing can harm you except yourselves. No other being can access the realm besides me. I am it's caretaker and portal. I can peer into the realm and send those who wish it out or let those I deem worthy of eternal peace and happiness in, nothing more."
Zod frowned and asked. "And what if someone takes this device from you?"
I took out the myriad rivers and mountains scroll, offering it to him. "This is the device, go ahead, take it."
He did and opened it. Seeing the painting, he asked if it was a joke and I shook my head. "No, this is magic or rather a divine artifact made by gods."
Oliver spoke up. "Like my bow?"
I nodded. "Yes, only this can't be destroyed in any shape or form. It is both the portal device and the dimension itself inside. It cannot be destroyed or stolen. You could run to the end of the universe or even other realities if you know how, but with a thought-"
The scroll appeared in my hand. "It would be right back with me. It is bound to my essence or soul. Even if I die, it will go with me to whatever afterlife awaits until a deity or whatever retrieves it or I'm reborn again."
The scroll vanished and I smiled. "Trust me, even if an evil god like Darkseid got ahold of it with all the armies he possessed, the three gods inside have laid waste to armies of gods entirely. They just wish to be left alone in peace to be with their loved ones so when I found the artifact, they and I swore an oath. They ensured my eternal soul would never be destroyed and I would carry their dimension with me so no more gods can find it and cause war."
I waved a hand. "You're free to stay here, toil and struggle without powers amongst the humans, awaiting the day humans advance into space or use the fortress to send your people to a planet elsewhere, that's your choice. Or you can follow me into a land prepared for Kryptonians, see wonders and beings no mortal has ever seen and perhaps one day meet Rao himself should I come across him. As for me, I've already agreed with the gods inside. A clone of me will be made and my soul split in two. Everything that is me will remain in this body while vague memories and experiences will go into the clone that will carry the artifact and die within a day. It will be reborn on another planet in another reality while I and those I care for will live in the immortal realm in peace."
I turned to Zod. "If you stay and seek a way to regain your powers, know that should you succeed and attempt to kill anyone, I've given the book of Rao to a friend for safekeeping. They will use it and drag every Kryptonian from this planet through a portal to another world. Your former phantom self will not be repeated on earth regardless of your decision."
I turned to each of the Kandorians. "Peace or toil and war, those are your options and regardless of my position in your eyes I will not take that choice from you. Each of you must decide for yourself where you wish to live."
They all chose the immortal world except Zod. I nodded and sent them into the immortal world while I turned to the others. "Last chance to be immortal and not have to fight."
Bart said it would be boring and I shrugged. "Perhaps a thunder dome can be put in or maybe you can learn magic and come out like a badass to help my reborn self one day?"
He said he'd pass so I turned to the others. Dinah, Tess, Kara and Raya were ready with baby Kyle. Chloe and Jimmy passed along with Lois and Oliver. AC and Mira passed as well while Cyborg thought about it and decided he could do more good on earth. I turned to Clark and Lana and Clark smiled. "I think you know the answer already."
I nodded slowly and held out a hand. He clasped it and I sighed. "Take care of them and remember, you're both Clark and Kal-El. Perhaps a disguise for your human half will help you most. Maybe glasses and a bit of intentional stumbling."
I took out a pair of glasses and handed them to him. "Spelled to give anyone that looks at you face blindness when it comes to your super half. You can do a lot of good as Clark Kent, exposing the truth of the world. Just as much as anything Kal-El can do."
He smiled and thanked me so I nodded. "I'm told the fortress has a suit for Kal-El so all I can say is that the world needs both of you."
He gave me a hug and said it needed me as well. I nodded and he released me. "You're right, it did. But my time has passed. Now they need someone who can step into the light and be a beacon of hope, not just for this world, but for all worlds, races and refugees."
I turned to Lana and sighed. "Clark is immortal under the yellow sun and some day your children will be as well."
I took out a copper cup and offered it to her. "The waters of eternity that flow through the immortal realm. They will ensure you cannot age, get sick or die so long as magic exists in this reality. You deserve them more than anyone, but they must be a choice you don't take lightly. To live in the mortal realm and be immortal wears thin quickly. Humans age and die so fast and eventually you may regret them, but you will have Clark and your children."
She nodded and drank from it. Water engulfed her before dissipating. Lana asked if that was it and I nodded, using my sword to cut her hand. It healed instantly and I smiled. "Even death will not hold you for long. Sadly some day you may wish it could for that is the price of true immortality and why it is a curse."
Oliver and the other humans passed so I put it away and told the happy Kryptonian couple how to regain their powers under the yellow sun. I gave them Dax-Ur's pendant and tossed a bag of rings to Clark. "Those will pull your bodies and souls to the immortal world upon death so that you may be revived and live there in peace. Youth can be restored and happiness found there. Wear them and when you die the process will be automatic, don't and there is nothing more I can do for all of you."
They thanked me and I nodded, opening a full portal to show them and Zod what they were missing. I walked through with my women and came back a clone minutes later. I picked up the fallen scroll and it vanished as I looked at them blankly. Jor-El spoke. "It is a clone."
I nodded and turned to Zod, pointing at the sword. He picked it up and I held my arms wide, nodding. He didn't hesitate and shoved the sword through my heart. After three seconds, I fell and turned to ashes, blowing in the wind.
My last thought was to Oliver whom I told the mansion and stuff was his now.
