Life As a Boat in Ocean
One day a live interview was streaming on social media. That was a public show, where everyone is invited. There are few public figures, celebrities invited to that show. The host addressed that a person who was the surprise guest is going to speak few words out of his experiences. No one in the audience knows who the person was. A common man dressed in a casual way walking through the audience took the mike and was ready to speak. People started murmuring who the person was, as the light was dim he was not Cleary visible.
He started his speech with a sentence," Success is not a lifestyle and your status doesn't reflect it. It is all about your satisfaction. Don't be too proud and greedy." He noticed that the audience felt boring by listening to them. He said," I want to tell you a story about a boat in the Ocean, Stopping all the motivational stuff I gave before as I am not interested in them." The audience started paying attention to him.
" The boat in the ocean seems to be traveling in the way we desired, but in reality, it's not. The boat traveling through the sea always goes through difficulties despite having relaxed moments. Just one wave will change its path, one wave may make its way difficult, a small ocean breeze may make it turn upside down. A little deviation in its journey or A little loss of concentration by its rider may result in losing its way or drown in its way. The journey of a boat in the Ocean is always challenging. We need to accept whatever the ocean is imposing and we need to move on, accepting how hard the situation is. If our destination wants to be reached, how hard may be the wave hits us, how terrible the breeze blows us, how violent the ocean may react, how difficult situation we are passing by, No matter what might happen if our destination needs to be reached, we need to stand firm we should make our way passing through all these difficulties. We must fight we must be attentive till the destination we are aspiring for is reached. But remember though we reached our destination it doesn't mean we can relax, the tide may wipe us off any time if we still stand near the shore and celebrating our victory. The ocean gave us enough strength to fight with all the problems we faced in our journey by boat. It made us strong enough to face them anytime, it taught us how to withstand, it took you to the shore thinking you are fit to reach it. If our situations are weak, what else makes us strong and teaches us by defeating the easy situations?
The ocean is like our Life...We are like Boat...The destination/shore is the thing we are aspiring for...And our situations are always like the journey of a boat in the ocean. No matter how weak we are, The supreme power called LOVE always makes us strong, drives out our confidence, brings out the potential, and finally makes us Strong.
The same happened in my life too, She is my soulmate my life, and the second half of my heart. The love she gave me made me a person today who is standing before you... (most of the audience stood and clapped their hands when he stood silent for few seconds, controlling his emotions)
I am now before many of you and delivering some speech. There is great respect surrounded me here. But remember years back I was sitting in one of those chairs, listening to the speaker here and clapping my hands. What made me a speaker here and surrounded with such great respect is her love. The love of my soulmate Ayra! " The guest of the program said.
The host completed his vote of thanks and hugged him, the guest left and the rest of the program is going on. But everyone has one question in their mind, "Who might be the person who delivered that speech?" The only person who knows is the host, as the guest covered his face with a scarf.
