"You will never win," Argel spat, his voice echoing through the chamber. "The power of the Node is absolute!"
Kai's heart sank as he saw the malice in Argel's eyes, but he didn't flinch. Instead, he reached deep within himself, finding the strength that had carried him through his darkest moments. "The power of love is stronger," he said, his voice steady and firm. "And together, we will destroy you."
The room went quiet as Argel's fireball grew, the flames reaching out to envelop Kai in a fiery embrace. Astrid screamed her voice a siren's wail that pierced the hearts of all who heard it. And then, with a roar that could have shaken the stars, Ragner threw himself in front of his son, the ice of his dragon form meeting the fire of Argel's attack.
