CHAPTER 18. THE KOVACS VISIT

When they got to St. Andrew Anglican Church Jerry drove the car to the parking site before getting out and head to the other side of the car to open the door for Aunty Pat and Aunty Pat tease he before getting out of the Ferrari with Frank and they walked said by side. When they got inside the church Aunty Pat pick a seat that is not too far from the alter and they all sat down to listen to the choir sing praises before the gospel will be delivered. And it's didn't take long before they were done singing and after that the pastor walked into the alter and started service with an open pray before he started preaching .

The gospel went on for 30minutes before they give their titles and offerings to the Lord and did closing prayers before the church choir sang the closing hymn before everyone went home but that was not the case for Jerry and Aunty Pat whom just seem to start their day with laughter. They stood close to the Ferrari while Frank already inside licking the ice cream Jerry bought him when they came out of the church.

Jerry just stood while looking at Aunty Pat, her face started to turn pink seeing the way Jerry was staring at her and could not take it anymore and asked "why are you looking at me like that"

"Do you know you are very beautiful"replied Jerry while still looking at her with a smile on his face.

"Stop it you are making feeling uncomfortable"said Aunty Pat who couldn't help but giggle.

"How can I stop when you just capture my attention with your beauty, I will forever be your slave"replied Jerry still maintaining the smile on his face while looking at her.

Aunty Pat became curious about something and asked "are you saying all this just so you can lavaged by body".

Hearing what Aunty Pat just said makes Jerry shocked and he quickly replied in total seriousness "and not here to have a taste of your body, all I ever wanted from you was a genuine love that's all"

The atmosphere between the two change and they went silent for sometime before Aunty Pat broke the silence "I still don't believe you and I forgot to tell you, I have a boyfriend in Paris"

"I don't care if you have a boyfriend, my heart is already in your hands" replied Jerry.

Seeing that Jerry don't want to drop the topic and she was getting tired of standing and been stared at by passerby makes are feel annoyed. "Am tired of staying here, can we go home now"asked Aunty Pat.

"Sure am also not used to stay outside for too long anyways"replied Jerry but opening the door for Aunty Pat to get in before getting into the car and he started the engine and back them back home.

When they got home Aunty Pat invited Jerry in even though she knew Jerry might have something to do and Jerry agreed to stay for sometime before leaving. Aunty Pat told Jerry to give her some minutes before heading to the kitchen to prepare lunch, later she came out with a big bowl of fried rice and grill meat and put them down on the dinning table before going back to the kitchen to get plates before calling them to the dinning. When Jerry sat down he began to rub his hands together before saying "I never knew you were considerate towards a hungry man like me".

Aunty Pat laughed to his jokes before she started serving the meal, meanwhile Frank was excited to see that food was ready.

After Aunty Pat was done serving, they started eating and during the time they were eating Jerry will compliment and praise Aunty Pat cooking. When they were done eating jerry did not stay for long before leaving, the moment he left was exactly the time that a BMW drove in and Aunty Pat was curious to know who could the visitor be but it didn't take long before she to saw Mrs Kovacs and her son John came out of the car. When she saw them Aunty Pat smile over to welcome them in but before she could get to them, she saw an advance chubby man came out of the car and she guess he could be Mrs Kovacs husband but it didn't stop her from going to then. When got to where they were, Aunty Pat greeted them before saying. "I welcome you all to our humble home"

"Hahaha, is good to see you again Patricia" replied Mrs Kovacs while laughing.

"Same here Maria, I believe this is your husband" asked Aunty Pat while looking at Mrs Kovacs with a smile on her face.

"Yeah Patricia meet the love of my life Mr Kovacs, honey this is Patricia sister to Mr Donald"replied Mrs Kovacs while smiling.

Mr Kovacs exchange friendly words with Aunty Pat before they went in with her. When Frank saw John and his parents came to visit he ran over to greet them and started to play with John in his room while Aunty Pat and John parents were left to discuss in the living room. The ladies talked for a while and Mrs Kovacs seem to forget the reason why they came but thanks to her husband who suddenly asked of Mr Donald which brought his wife back to the objective why they were here.

"He's doing okay, I was even getting ready to go see him before you came"said Aunty Pat.

"Oh, them can we go with you then"asked Mr Kovacs.

"Sure why not, just give me a minute to get lunch for my sister in-law"said Aunty Pat.

The couple agreed to what she said before she went to the kitchen to put some food in a food flask before walking out and called Frank and John to come out that they are going to the hospital.
