Scarlet's POV

“And you didn't see a face?” I lifted my eyebrows at Eric. He shook his head slowly.

We had all assumed it was our common enemy, but listening to him talk about how the person only assaulted him on his leg, it might probably be out of jealousy or competition because of the football game coming up. Everyone knew Eric was the best player and the only person who stood a chance at winning the scholarship prize which he fairly deserved.

“Unfortunately, that was when my energy gave away.” His voice snapped me back to the room.

“Have you told anyone else?” Ian's voice came in and Eric shook his head yet again.

“My parents haven't asked me anything yet which I presume was the doctor's order and I told Doc that I don't remember because I blacked out.”
